The dude Conway that Meek Mill blasted on his instagram is now speaking. He’s an up and coming producer. Apparently, he asked Meek for $5k for his baby moms. But, he’s saying that isn’t the case anymore. He maintains that he’s going to have a kid and wanted work to help support that kid. Then, through the DM, he asked. He said he didn’t have any direct number on Meek and that was the only way. “We grind together, we shine together. We worked earlier in his career.” He said he produced a LOT of Meek’s early music and he claims he was just too loyal. “I was not begging for money,” Conway said. Looks like Conway just got lost in the sauce and Meek don’t really care about him like that now. The music he did for Meek is being old on iTunes and Amazon and whatever….wild!
“At the end of the day, I know I didn’t suck d**k or kiss a$$ to get on.” – Conway. Whatchasayin?

(AllHipHop News) Roc Nation Sports just added its first professional football player to its growing roster. Former West Virginia University quarterback Geno Smith is now a New York Jet and a member of the ROC.
Smith will join Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees and Skylar Diggs of the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock as clients of Jay-Z’s latest business venture.

Smith was selected as the 39th pick in this year’s NFL draft by the New York Jets. During his senior year at WVU (2012), the 6’3” Miami native threw for 4205 yards, 42 touchdowns, and a 71% completion rate.
He left his alma mater holding the school records for career completions, touchdown passes, passing yards, and consecutive pass completions. He also holds or shares conference and NCAA records as well.
Smith allegedly fired his previous agents after he slipped all the way to the second round in the draft even though he was expected to be a first round selection. According to his mentor, former NFL player John Thornton, Roc Nation was now the perfect fit for Smith.
“It really all came down to who he was most comfortable with,” Thornton told CBS Sports. “I was in those meetings and Jay-Z connected with him on many levels.”
With Mark Sanchez’s noticeable struggles in the QB position for the Jets, Smith may get an opportunity to see some playing time as the starter in New York.
(AllHipHop News) The New York City Police Department’s “Stop-and-Frisk” policy is one of the most highly criticized police tactics in recent years. The New York Civil Liberties Union, LatinoJustice PRLDEF, and The Bronx Defenders filed a federal class action lawsuit against the city, and as a result, a judge ordered that the NYPD stop enforcing the practice in front of private residences in The Bronx.
And now all NYC residents await the decision of a judge in another case involving the policy. Floyd v. City of New York covers a much larger scale as the constitutionality of the entire program is in question.
The Center for Constitutional Rights (part of the defense team in the case) is now trying to get the word out about the upcoming ruling by enlisting rapper/actor Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) to appear in a new public service announcement.
The 3 minute ad is called “Don’t Tread On Me” and features some staggering facts like 85% of the 5 million stops under “Stop-and-Frisk” were Black or Latino. In the video, the voice of a police officer can also be heard sharing the story of his commanding officer telling his precinct, “we’re gonna go out there, and we’re gonna violate some rights.”

(AllHipHop News) Busta Rhymes, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, Lil Wayne and Paris Hilton all now have something in common. They are all apart of the Cash Money Records Family.
The socialite-turned-singer has signed to the iconic label, according to Rap-Up.com.
Paris told Roger Friedman of Showbiz 411 the big news.
The report says, “But the big news: this nightfly who is really a successful businesswoman is recording her second album of music right now. It will be issued by CashMoney Records and will feature many hip hop acts such as Lil Wayne. Paris told me Afrojack is producing it, and she hopes to have it out this summer.”
“This is a lot different than my first album. It’s really going to be house music,” Paris said.
The name of the album has not been announced. Her 2006 debut was Paris.
Normally, its the celebs that are getting put on blast, but Meek Mill turned the tides on one of his boys that asked him for 5k.

Yoooooooo!
What in the HELL is going on? I’m so serious that I’m laughing! Hip-Hop has gone mad. There is a rumor that Tim Dog is still alive. You know that by now, but guess what I am hearing, HIS FAMILY THINKS THE SAME. It seems there was a funeral, but there was NOTHING there to confirm that Tim Blaire was actually dead. No body and no death certificate. Generally, when somebody dies, the family deals with the “affairs.” I don’t know who handled Tim Dog’s but it certainly wasn’t his closest family members, my source says. They are telling me that they don’t believe it because no concrete evidence has yet to be produced that he was dead. So now there is a warrant out for Tim’s arrest. If they put an award on it, we’ll get out and look.
I think Tim Dog is more concerned with becoming legendary for reasons other than music if you ask me. The amount he was to pay was nominal at best, even though it was a total of $2 million. He was never going to pay all that.
