Hip-Hop Rumors: Diss Or Punchline? Is Eve Throwing Shots At Lauryn Hill?

Over the weekend, Eve rocked out the “Rock The Bells” concert in California and brought out her old label mate, DMX! Eve tore the stage down, running through some of her best material including ‘What Ya’ll N*ggas Want’, ‘Who’s That Girl’, ‘Let Me Blow Your Mind’ and the ‘Hot Boys (Remix)’.

Towards the end of her set, Eve dropped a freestyle detailing her plan to come back to rap and near the end of her freestyle, Eve rapped, Spread the word that I’m back, these b-tches in debt better pay their tax.”

We’ve all heard about Lauryn Hill not paying her taxes and currently facing jail time. So, do you think Eve’s line was directed at Lauryn Hill? It could have very well been directed at half a dozen rappers right now who haven’t been paying their taxes, including Beanie Sigel, Young Buck, Nas, even DMX.

So, I have to ask, was that a diss or a punchline?

Hip-Hop Rumors: Willow Smith Writes Letter To Tupac For Jada…Weird….Awkward…

It may be time for Will Smith to reel in the kids. This is just strange. Obviously, there is an explanation. Also, there is the matter that is seems that Willow thinks that Pac is out there somewhere. And then she think that he is the way for her mother to be happy. That’s definitely odd.

“Dear Tupac, I know you are alive someplace,” she wrote. “I think that my mommy really misses you. Can you please come back can you come back so momy and me can be happy! I wish you were here… I really do! Love, Willow [sic]”

Now, I thought that was all rumors and speculation until this letter came out. I’m now wondering what is going on. Well! There were rumors that Pac and Jada were more than just friends, but back in the day. Perhaps, it is just saying that Pac and Jada were happy and his return with create more happiness in their world. I think that would work for all of us.

Willow Smith writes letter to Tupac Shakur, saying she knows he is alive and wants him to come back.

After seeing the letter! I forgot…this kid is 11 years old!

Lets take a look back!

Hip-Hop Rumors: MC Eiht Vs Olympian Ryan Lochte!

This is hilarious to me. I do mean, COMEDY!!!! If you don’t know who MC Eiht is, then perhaps you should quickly run over and read our story on the West Coast.

READ: WILD WILD WEST: From ‘Pac To Pac D## – The West Coast’s Gangster To Hipster Evolution

MC Eiht, the Hip-Hop legend, is not happy with Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte! It seems that the super swimmer is trying to trademark the term “JEAH!” Now, you may not recall, but “Jeah” was created and popularized by Eiht! This is not in dispute!!! Furthermore, Lochte has made it pretty well-known that he’s all into Hip-Hpp. I think he needs to bow down and give up the trademark to Eiht so he can do absolutely nothing with it at this time Nevertheless, Eiht seems to mostly want his recognition! MC Eiht told TMZ, “Why try and trademark something his a** didn’t even create? I am mad that he isn’t giving me proper recognition for taking my saying. He is just disrespectful.”

ONCE UPON A TIME, MC EIHT HAD A CRAZY BEEF WITH DJ QUIK!

Well, I have to agree with the West Coast don. I don’t believe Eiht has any trademark on the term, but he plans to send a cease and desist letter to stop this madness. Now, on the flip side, Lochte says he got the verbiage from Young Jeezy, who goes “CHEA!” so that may be correct. I don’t know. Both seem feasible. I don’t think anybody wants to get a drive by in their hood! Give it up smooth! Ain’t no telling’ if Eiht is still down for a jack move. He’s still Compton’s Most Wanted!!!

Paul Wall did the grill!

Here is Eiht using “jeah” like he did on just about every song he ever did.

VIDEO: "Red Hook Summer's" Spike Lee Offers A Co-Sign for President Obama, Recalled Him Like "Black Jesus" in 2008

In an odd election season, where most voters seem to be heavily observant before speaking out in favor of a particularly candidate, the Hollywood set is finally getting involved.

And, while some may say it definitely helps promote his new film, Red Hook Summer, Spike Lee has offered an impassioned endorsement for President Barack Obama’s re-election.

CLICK HERE for Don Lemon’s CNN video interview of Spike Lee recalling the last Presidential Election, where he says Obama arose victorious like “Black Jesus” on that historic night in November 2008:
