(AllHipHop Rumors) Welp, the mixed reviews on Tupac’s long-awaited biopic, ‘All Eyez On Me’ continue to pour in.
Regardless, it is still good to see that they came in at No. 3 at the box office!
Moving on, even the legends seem to be divided on the film. You have people like Snoop Dogg, The Game, and MC Hammer praising it, while Jada Pinkett-Smith, 50 Cent, Pac’s family and estate, and now Scarface have criticized it! Even Wack 100 has praised it [no comment].
It seems that Scarface is questioning the authenticity of the biopic. Scarface happened to be one of the guests at a Classic Hip Hop event in Chicago, and the legend gave his honest opinion when the biopic came up.
According to ‘Face, if Pac’s close friends such as Big Syke, Spice 1, Too $hort, Richie Rich, weren’t mentioned, then the film is not a real or accurate Tupac movie.
There was also a plot twist by Scarface at the event. He told the crowd that when he dies to not buy any of his albums that a record label puts out. From there he went on to say it’s time for everyone to stop “supporting” new Tupac projects because the money won’t be going to his family since both Tupac and his mother, Afeni Shakur, have passed away.
What are your thoughts on Scarface’s message and the film?
