Common, Sticman, Badu Featured In New Health Documentary

Common, Sticman

from dead prez and Erykah Badu are featured in a new documentary aimed at teaching

hip-hoppers alternatives to traditional healthcare.

"I think and

speak clearer since I cut the dairy out. I can breathe better and perform at

a better rate, and my voice is clearer," Common said. "I can explore

different things with my voice that I couldn’t do because of my meat and dairy

ingestion. I am proud and blessed to be a vegetarian, everything became clear."

The "Wholistic

Wellness for the Hip-Hop Generation" features techniques to combat physical,

emotional and mental issues.

"I am a chlorophyllian," Badu says in the documentary. "Discipline

is important, we need to be more focused on what we put into our bodies."

A chlorophyllian

a person who not only eliminates all animal products including dairy, but eats

only 10% of starches and 90% live green foods.

"I sincerely

hope that the hip-hop generation receives this film as seed planted to inspire

and apply the principles of healing oneself," the films producer and medicine

man Super Nova Slom said. "In order to have a full fledged revolution,

that change must first take place within one’s self."

In addition to

Slom, Heal Thyself Productions and author Queen Afua helped to produce the informative

documentary.
