Remy Ma appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court today (January 31), where a judge set a trial date of February 25 for the Bronx bred Rapper. Remy Ma, born Remy Smith, will stand trial for gang assault and witness intimidation, stemming from an incident last August. Prosecutors allege Remy Ma ordered a group of men to attack a man whose girlfriend witnessed the shooting of Makeda Barnes-Joseph, whom Remy is accused of shooting during a dispute in front of a New York nightclub, over a missing $3,000 dollars. The men, who are associates of Barnes-Joseph, were assaulted at The Players Club in The Bronx. One man suffered a broken jaw in two places.
