MTV has announced the renewal of the popular reality series Run’s House.

Now in its fifth season, the show will continue to chronicle the lives of the Simmons family.

New episodes will feature Run joining Kid Rock on tour and Run’s wife Justine adjusting to a new addition in baby Miley.

“I’ve been on tour, so MTV followed me around a little bit,” an excited Rev. Run told AllHipHop.com. “It’s pretty cool to see my bus and see me perform. It’s the first time on the show that I’ve performed and this is the fifth season! [You] See 20,000 people in places like Madison Square. Also one episode shows that my dog pal is jealous of Miley, so that’s hilarious to watch.”

Run’s House also showcases new storylines, as daughters Vanessa and Angela develop their fledgling Pastry shoe and clothing lines from LA, far away from the cozy confines of the Simmons’ Saddle River, New Jersey home.

And son Joseph, Jr continues his music dreams with Hip-Hop group Team Blackout in hopes of reliving his father’s success.

“This season is very different with our new addition in the house and the girls in L.A.,” Run exclaimed. “I’m excited!”

The fourth season of Run’s House was ranked #1 in it’s time period (Thursdays, 10-11 P.M.) among cable viewers 12-34 years old.

The popular show has reached 67 plus million viewers with over 34.2 million of that figure coming from the 12-34 year old demographic.

The show will continue to be executive produced by Russell Simmons, Stan Lathan, Will Griffin, John Davies, and Sean Combs.

Season five of Run’s House will debut July 16 at 10 P.M. on MTV.
