The former call girl that was involved in the embarrassing scandal that helped bring down New York Govenor Eliot Spitzer has inked a deal with Violator Management.
The New York Post reports that Violator, which is helmed by veteran manager Chris Lighty, will oversee the career of former call girl, Ashlee Dupree.
Another source confirmed with AllHipHop.com that Dupree, who has released tracks like “Move Ya Body” and “What We Want,” is working on her memoirs.
Dupree, 23, herself made headlines in March of 2008, when the FBI revealed that New York Governor Eliot Spitzer paid to have sex with her and other women over several years.
She was granted immunity for her testimony against Spitzer, a married father of three, who resigned on March 12.
In the aftermath, Duprees MySpace page received over 9 million views and she received offers to pose in Hustler and Penthouse.
Prior to the scandal, Dupree, who worked as a high-end call girl, had been trying to land a record deal and break into the music industry.
Her singles “Move Ya Body” and “What We Want” have been played over 3 million times a piece on the internet as well. “
She deserved a fair shake and Violator isnt scared of the controversy,” a source familiar with the deal told AllHipHop.com.
Violator has handled a number of controversial artists in the past, including rappers like 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and Mobb Deep.
On Tuesday (November 25), a Congressional committee opened an investigation into the case, to see if federal agents misused their powers under the Patriot Act.
