A new DVD heading to stores this January will feature an unreleased interview with legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. The late rap star is the subject of the DVD Tupac Uncensored and Uncut: The Lost Prison Tapes, which is slated to hit stores January 25th. The interview with Tupac Shakur was shot on location at Clinton Correctional Facility, when the rapper was serving time in 1995 for sexual assault charges. The DVD, which was directed by Ken Peters, features Tupac talking about his involvement with gang life, the prison system, his relationship with his mother Afeni and other topics. The footage appears on the DVD unedited, in its full-length form, which has never been seen until now. Tupac Uncensored and Uncut will retail for $14.95.Rappers Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj and Kid Cudi were among Google’s most searched people in the year 2010, according to data released by the Internet search giant. Wiz landed at #3 in the “People” category behind Justin Bieber and Ke$ha and #3 on the music search page. Nicki Minaj was listed at #4 on the “People” list and #5 on the Music list. She also placed high on Google’s most popular image search. Talib will drop his installment of Southern Smoke with DJ Smallz. The project, titled Southern Smoke, Northern Lights, is slated to drop around Christmas time, the rapper revealed in a recent Ustream chat. The mixtape will feature guest appearances by Yelawolf, 36 Mafia, Slim Thug, Young Dro and others.
