Erick Sermon Remains Hospitalized After Heart Attack

(AllHipHop News) Rap legend Erick Sermon remains in a Long Island hospital after suffering a heart attack over the weekend.

The rapper, known for his production work and as half of EPMD, is recovering and is expected to be released later this week.

Both PMD, Sermon’s rap partner, and DJ Scratch, the group’s DJ, have confirmed that he’s recovering well.

Erick Sermon, 42, has been heralded as an icon in Hip-Hop, one that has experienced success as a soloist and a within EPMD.

Those close to the Long Island native attributed the heart attack to extremely high blood pressure.
