DIGGY SIMMONS SET TO SURPRISE PEOPLE WITH ALBUM “UNEXPECTED ARRIVAL”

(AllHipHop News) Atlantic A&R Shawn Barron recently spoke with AllHipHop.com about Diggy Simmons’ debut project Unexpected Arrival, which will be in stores March 20.

Diggy’s singles “Copy, Paste,” and “Do it Like You” featuring Jeremih have been getting heavy rotation nationwide.

Also, the rapper is on his “Life of the Jetsetter Tour,” which is stopping in selected cities around the country.

Shawn Barron, who helped coordinate Diggy’s first two singles, has had great success early in his career as an A&R.

“I signed Diggy and I think that he’s going to surprise a lot of people,” Shawn Barron told AllHipHop.com. “Diggy [has] found a sound with the project with producer D’Mile, that I think will shock the world. He needed a new sound that nobody had.”

Having worked in the industry for several years now, Shawn is gaining more responsibility at Atlantic.

“Right now I got Brianna from Miami and I’m also working on Alley Boy with DTE, so we got that coming, should be some good music coming out,” Barron told AllHipHop.com.
