Curren$y is one of the hardest working MCs in the Hip-Hop game right now, although to him he refers to his work as “fun” – which there can never be enough of. Following the release of his Warner Bros. debut, The Stoned Immaculate, Spitta diverted his attention to the work coming out of his own camp of Jet Life Recordings.
In addition to the the New Orleans native rattling off a slew of projects that are in in the works, Curren$y, who is his own boss now, spoke on Jet Life Recordings, and what he learned from being around C.E.O.s like Master P and Dame Dash in the past during his tenure with the respective moguls.
Curren$y also spoke on the current status of relationships with Lil Wayne and Master P, his level of involvement with the individual projects coming from his Jet Life roster, and his process for recruiting new talent to his team.
