R&B singer Faith Evans is back in the spotlight as lead cast member of TV One’s “R&B Divas”, and now she’s releasing a new album of the same name.
The first single? “Tears of Joy”, a hard-hitting ballad giving us the best of Faith Evans. Written by Grammy nominated songwriter Claude Kelly and produced by Chuck Harmony, this track pulls out the best in Evans and sheds light on one of music’s brightest voices.
Heavily inspired by her friend, Whitney Houston, proceeds from the album will benefit the Whitney E. Houston Academy of Creative and Performing Arts, an institution that Houston attended, located in her hometown of East Orange, New Jersey.
