(AllHipHop News) Founding members of Hip-Hop group State Property reunited with Jay-Z at the Budweiser Made In America Festival yesterday (September 1).
State Property is a group that was once headed by rapper Beanie Sigel.
But the group’s relationship with the Jay-Z soured, during his dispute with Beanie Sigel.
Freeway discussed the arrest with AllHipHop.com prior to the group’s performance at the Made In America Festival.
“It’s definitely unfortunate,” Freeway told all hip-hop.com. “I was just on the phone with his wife. It’s looking crazy, but Inshallah, he will get through it. It’s hard on me, it’s hard on his family, but he’s got good people out here who support him.”
During the Made In America performance, Freeway hit the stage with former label mates Young Chris, Neef, Memphis Bleek and Jay-Z, who also brought out artists on the G.O.O.D. Music during his set.
Pusha-T, Kanye West, Common, Big Sean, Swizz Beatz, 2 Chainz all hit the stage during Jay’s headlining set.
Today (August 2), Drake is supposed to hit the stage, along with the highly extirpated reunion of Run-DMC.
