This Saturday afternoon (Dec 22), Ludacris and Disturbing the Peace will host a special Christmas party for a group of approximately 150 Atlanta-area children between the ages of 6 and 12, as part of the Ludacris Foundation’s Luda Cares initiative.

The Luda-Crismas in Winter Wonderland celebration was inspired by the Hollywood premiere of Fred Claus, in which Ludacris co-stars alongside Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti.

"The after party was a magical winter wonderland," Roberta Shields, President of the Ludacris Foundation told AllHipHop.com. "We are bringing that same magic to Atlanta children."

Luda-Crismas in Winter Wonderland will take place at the Woodruff Arts Center in Midtown Atlanta.

Children attending the event were chosen from various communities in and around Atlanta and will attend a special screening of Fred Claus.

They will also be treated to games, entertainment, great food, an opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus and their own "Build-A-Bear" Workshop. "

At the Ludacris Foundation, we understand the importance of helping others and giving back," continued Shields, who is also the Grammy Award-winning rapper/actor’s mother. "We understand that the little things we do can sometimes have a huge effect on these children for years to come. "

"The Christmas Season is all about giving of yourself," Ludacris added, echoing Shields’ sentiment. "During the holidays, there is no greater gift than the "gift of giving" and putting smiles on the faces of others."

The Ludacris Foundation’s Luda Cares Initiative is dedicated to supporting kids and families in need during the holiday season, by providing food, toys, and surprise visits.
