I can't fault anybody for not wanting to listen but  I respect him for what he's doing and what he's done.

I hope this turns out good, one thing we should never do is underestimate someones impact in their field. What may not be relevant to you, may be the very thing that another holds as most relevant. Bizzy and DMX have lived their lives in front of the camera, and it hasn't always been pretty; but to me, because of that, they are two of the most credible and honest artists in the genre. As it turns out, we are so swayable by the media and the corporations that we now let them determine what's hot and who is relevant. Some would say that Camron isn't relevant anymore; but his last cd sold 300,000 independently. 50 probably sold 10 times more cd's, but is becoming more and more irrelevant in terms of being hot in the neighborhoods. Gucci Mane may be irrelevant to some of you, but in certain cities you can't visit the hood without hearing somebody drive by bumping Gucci. You think Janet Jackson isn't relevant. I think Viacom (who owns MTV, VH1 and BET) have a ban on supporting her projects after her tittie popped out during the Super Bowl when it aired on CBS (another station owned by Viacom) costing them $500,000 courtesy of a hefty FCC fine. OK...The point is just because you don't hear about a person in the media or when you do it is in a negative light, that does not make that person any less talented or relevant. The truth is that we as consumers are lazy and try to avoid independent thinking at all costs. We would rather let the news think for us.

music videos need a new setting and these two have the ability to pull of a classic video with there creative minds working together. So dont hate just wait and then hate so it can get it proper shine from all the negativity pushing it to the masses.

Man this is good news these 2 cats may not be relevant in terms of commercial success but both those dudes do the type of music that strikes emotion.My FAVORITE BIZZY CD WAS HEAVENS MOVIE;DEMONS AROUND ME was my shit.DMX has soo many tracks i like its crazy that nigga REAL he be on that good and evil shit those deep down thoughts we all have but are affraid to admit.

...I never heard of BoDog Records before the announcement of DMX myself. I can't say if they're worse than KOCH because apparently they're trying to find a piece of that pie as well, and they're new. I hope DMX has someone tight handling the paperwork on that though. And hopefully they do him right and use him as a stepping stone..in a good way.

Your type of comments is why Hip Hop artists these days don't or can't have longevity. No support in the long run. And as mentioned by Mr Get Right, someone's relevancy depends on what that individual person gets from someone's music. The media, which is controlled by people who don't know shit about the Hip Hop culture, are the ones who determine what you get exposed to. And that contributes to your negative thinking to artists that you don't see on your screens everyday 15 times on 106 & Park and shit like that. I've been at a point for a while now where I look for the old shit I like from those artists, and support current artists that's doing what they love and know. Not the ones that are doing shit just because it's fashionable.
