In response to your comment I just wanted to say this. Rick Ross is not even in the same category as lupe, mos and kweli-those are conscious rappers. He is also not in the same category as Jay-Z, Nas or 50 cent or some of the other you named. Its like apples to oranges. These dudes rep the North (kweli, jay, nas, 50) their style is completely different. He is from the South-MIA-305. If you want to compare artists from that area then you will see he stands out and he has accomplished alot and regardless the bitchassness needs to cease. I know for a fact that all the stuff these rappers talk about is the truth. The story I'm about to tell happen to me over the course of a weekend trip. I couldn't mention the names becuase the situation was just so real.

Y***g  J***y says that he was in big shoot out out on the highway. I think he was hanging out of the window while his coupe was going sideways. I was there and saw the whole thing. His bandana flew off and hit my windshield. I stashed it for him because real reconignze real. Later on that night I was headed down to Miami and I bumped into R**s. He smacked me in my face with a thousand dollar stack and screamed out "TRILLA". Then he told me to hold 16 bricks for him until he got back from out of town. I didn't want to hold all that weight so I decided to flip it. I went back to a small town just outside of GA and bumped into j***y again. I pulled out the bandana that I stashed for him earlier. He said " I know you, you that real ass nigga that was the highway with me" I was like yeeeeeaaaahhh. After talking to him for few hours he decided to buy the bricks from me that I got from R**s. J***y said that he would only buy them off me if agreed to sell them for 16.5 a piece. I was cool with that. I camped out in a motel whie j***y made 32 trips back and fourth to my room. (He was really paranoid, and he insisted on moving one brick per trip). Finally the deal was done. I went back to Miami with quater million in cash and about 15k worth of chronic. I went back to the same spot that I met R**s at and one of his folks told me that his "boss" wanted to see me. I showed his "boss" the money and he told me to keep it becuase real reconignze real. He told me to take the cash and leave the smoke. I didn't really know what he was talking about , but I didn't ask any questions. I then proceeded to make it rain at various strips clubs all throughout the south before I ened up broke again. All in all it was a good weekend, but next time I think I might take a plane.

It's like this..... I don't know the nigga, neva met the nigga, don't buy his music, have no financial affiliation or obligation to the nigga..nor does his actions take money out my pocket or food off my families plate.  As far as I'm concerned the nigga is a figment of my imagination.  The only beef I have with the nigga is that all he talks about is sellin' dope and I think that is not a good look for us as a people.  Yeah, we know its entertainment or probably exaggerated, but OUTSIDERS and IDIOTS take his word for 100% truth.  At the end of the day, me caring that much about the validity of what that man talks about is the equivalent of trivial girly gossip.  Instead of me worrying about how "street" legit he is, I'm more concerned with how his message and actions affect my people as a whole.  To me that is the only REAL that matters.
