Houston rapper Mike Jones has announced a new venture with ProConcept Marketing Group, Inc to endorse an exclusive new line of Cognac liquor from the “House of Dobbe’.”

Jones and ProConcept will together strategize promotional events and concert tours in major markets to promote the product.

Currently, both parties are planning a special Super Bowl event to dually promote Mike Jones’ new album and the Cognac line.

According to Dobbe’ CEO Joel Stohlman, partnering with Jones gives both entities visibility in markets they normally wouldn’t reach.

“We are excited that this particular product. The line of Dobbe’ cognac is a perfect fit for Mike Jones,” Stohlman told AllHipHop.com. “He is a terrific self-promoter and will do whatever is required to make this product launch is a success. We will give him the support he needs throughout the U.S., and continue marketing and promoting the products in conjunction with the record launch.”

Mike Jones’ burst on the national Hip-Hop scene with his 2005, platinum debut Who Is Mike Jones?.

Cognizant of the industry sales plummet in the years since his album, Jones explained that brand partnerships are essential in keeping artists visible at a time when promotional funds are limited.

“This opportunity could not have come at a better time, with the launch of my new single,” Jones detailed to AllHipHop.com. “I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do what I love; produce hot music and engage in business opportunities. The story of this product fits my life. I had to work extremely hard to be a success in the music industry, and will give the same level of commitment to House of Dobbe’.”

Mike Jones’ sophomore LP, Voice of the Streets, is due out in February 2009.

At press time the album features Lil Wayne, Akon, Twista, Mya, Plies, T.I., and Bobby Brown.
