Former Geto Boys rapper Bushwick Bill will release a Hip-Hop gospel album next month.

Bushwick’s Testimony of Redemption will drop December 1 on G-S.P.O.T. Productions.

According to reports, the label name is an acronym for “God’s Special Purpose of Talent.”

The rapper’s sixth solo album chronicles his tumultuous life and his road to spiritual awakening after a violent incident in May of 1991 with an ex-girlfriend that left him without an eye.

Bushwick recently dropped a video for the first single from the album also titled “Testimony of Redemption,” which features cameos by Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes and others.

Other tracks on the album include “Praise of a Good Woman” and “Renewed Mind,” which is a play off the Geto Boys’ classic single “Mind Playing Tricks on Me.”

In related news, former Geto Boys member Scarface told AllHipHop.com that there will never be another Geto Boys reunion.

The Geto Boys officially disbanded in 1998, after a series of lineup changes.

The group reunited briefly in 2005 to release The Foundation in 2005.

While Scarface was adamant that there was no bad blood between the group, which also included Willie D., he simply stated that he could no longer tolerate working with his former band mates.

While Bushwick Bill promotes his new gospel album, Scarface is working on a new mixtape.

Willie D. is currently facing 20 years in prison for his alleged role in an international scam involving iPhones.

In July he pleaded not guilty to 15 counts of wire fraud.
