(AllHipHop News) Philadelphia Hip-Hop star Eve has been tapped to host the 2010 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) this weekend in the city of Lagos. Organizers of the MAMA’s made the announcement yesterday (December 8th) during a press conference at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos. The MTV Africa Music Awards, which are being presented by Airtel, honor the top artists from across the continent. The event is now in its third year. In addition to Eve, American rappers Rick Ross and T-Pain are slated to perform, in addition to African artists/presenters like Nneka, D’Banji, Big Nuz, Teargas, Banky W., Dama Do Bling, Liquideep and others. The MTV Africa Music Awards takes place at the Eko Expo Hall on December 11th in Lagos, Nigeria.
