TMZ reports that Lil Kim is being pursued by professional make-up artist Samantha Ravndahl for using her self-portrait on the rapper’s official social media sites and cover art. Ravndahl claims she posted the photo on Reddit under the user name Sssamanthaa, and Kim started using it without her permission.
The creepy pic of a zombie-like women appeared on the Soundcloud cover for Kim’s latest single “Dead Gal Walking.” Kim even added a copyright watermark to the pic when she uploaded it to her Instagram page.
Ravndahl apparently reached out to the Brooklyn native’s representatives for compensation, but after initially being rejected she was later told Kim “works slowly.” She says Kim continued to use the picture even after contacting her.
Ravndahl has not officially filed a case against Kim yet, but she is looking for some type financial payment. A suit is still a possibility. She has been seeking recommendations in Reddit’s legal advice section.
