“[Run The Jewels 2] is much darker and much harder than I thought it would be,” said Killer Mike. “It’s pushed me into some darker crevices of my personality.”
Besides dropping another effort with El-P as Run The Jewels, Mike has several other projects in the works as well. He plans to release R.A.P. Music 2 in 2014, and he’s completing an album called The Elegant Elephant and the I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind IV mixtape.
“The Pledge series is a marker for my career. It’s about this mantra: you can get rich independently; you can decide who you are; you can decide what you’re about,” added Mike.
