(AllHipHop News) DJ Funkmaster Flex played a role in bringing Dipset together again for a new mixtape and tour. The radio DJ is said to be currently putting in work to get another legendary East Coast group to reassemble for another run. Flex tells Hip Hop Wired he has spoken to members of the Fugees about reuniting.

“Dipset is a group I was passionate about wanting to see together,” says Flex. “The Fugees is another group that I’ve been working on. [I’m] speaking to the members.”
Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, and Pras released two critically acclaimed albums in the 1990’s before splitting up. The Fugees 1996 LP, The Score, has been certified 6 times platinum and won the Grammy award for Best Rap Album.
The Refugee Crew has reunited in the past. The trio closed out Dave Chappelle’s Block Party documentary and performed at the 2005 BET Awards.
