The incident has led to Lakeland, Florida police charging Gates with simple battery and many fans nationwide turning on the “Satellites” performer.

Gates has finally responded to his actions and the subsequent reaction from the public in a new song titled “The Truth.” The record features the Baton Rouge rapper claiming 18-year-old Miranda Dixon grabbed his penis several times, and K.G. says he warned the woman to stop touching him before he kicked her.

One part of the song includes the lines, “You should have respect for yourself. You a queen and you wasn’t respecting yourself.”
