Drake Wins Best Award For “Hotline Bling” And Diddy Accepts: “Yo Drake Come Get This”

DIDDY ACCEPTS DRAKE’S VMA!!

(AllHipHop News) Rihanna opened the 2016 Video Music Awards earlier tonight (August 28) with a medley of her hits.

A number of rappers hit the VMA’s, which was broadcast for the first time from New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden.

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele aka @TheShamester and @LizardSheeple gave play by plays in between performances, while Charlamagne Tha God, Jay Pharoah and Nicole Byer acted as correspondents

DJ Khaled showed off his skybox during his live segment, where Fabolous, Fat Joe and Remy Ma were hanging out.

Diddy came out to give out the “Best Hip-Hop Award, which ironically went to Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”

“Drake is stuck in traffic so I’m going to take this all the way back to the crib. Yo Drake, come get this,” Diddy said laughing.

The pair infamously got into a tussle outside of a Miami nightclub over the song “0/100,” which Diddy claimed was originally his.

In the interview, Diddy downplayed having any issues with Drake.

“I did not put hands on Drake and I do not want any problems with Drake,” Diddy told The Breakfast Club. “That’s all I have to say. He’s putting in his work. I didn’t do nothing to Drake. Drake is my friend.”
