Mobb Deep was

forced to cancel their London England performances after member Prodigy was

admitted to the hospital due to a recent bout with Sickle Cell Anemia, a disease

that affects over 80,000 in the United States and millions worldwide. The tour,

due to start on June 5th, has been postponed until further notice.

In a recent interview with AllHipHop.com, Prodigy

shed some light on his condition. "It’s sporadic. That affects my whole

life. I was born with it."

The duo was also scheduled for a show at Creation

in Bristol the following evening. There are plans for the shows to be rescheduled.

Refunds will be available, but if the show is rescheduled, the tickets for the

canceled dates will still be valid.
