AllHipHop.com was exclusively invited out to kick with Young Jeezy for the video shoot of “Ride for My Ni**as” from the It’s The World (Es El Mundo) mixtape. And, when the big homie tells you to come out because he only wants to talk to you… you show up.
So, AllHipHop.com was in the building at the video shoot, that despite some minor setbacks, went off without a hitch.
“Ride for My Ni**as” is an up-tempo, high-energy club banger produced by DJ Mustard that bangs in the club and on the streets. The song shows off Young Jeezy’s dedication to grooming up-coming artists. New CTE signee, YG changed the game when he said that he wasn’t releasing any more free mixtapes until the release of his debut album Im 4rm Bompton later this year. He talked to us about his signing to CTE and the rise of the “New West Coast.” Atlanta native, Rich Homie Quan is poised to take over after major success with his records, “Differences,” and “Type of Way,” which was just MTV Jamz, Jam of the Week. Both records are on constant rotation in his hometown. YG and Rich Homie Quan held their own on set with Young Jeezy who declared them, “the future,” along with his newest CTE signees, Detroit’s Doughboyz Cashout.
