(AllHipHop News) When Drake said “diss me, you’ll never hear a reply for it” on 2009’s “Successful”, it’s starting to be come glaringly obvious he meant you won’t hear your name mentioned. Days after Rihanna attended the New York City leg of Lil Wayne vs Drake tour, Drake addresses their past relationship on a leaked song.
During the European leg of Drake’s Would You Like A Tour? in late February, Rihanna performed with Drake at Bercy, Paris. The following two weeks included Rihanna and Drake holding hands and video of the pair entering a men’s bathroom separately. Titled after his upcoming fourth album Views From The 6, Drake seemingly addresses the alleged two week tryst in February on the song’s lyrics:
You must remember wakin’ up in Paris with the blunt / You must remember f*ckin’ me like anytime you want/What made us wanna act like we were married for two weeks? / Now we back in California, we don’t even speak / That’s a no-no.
In the song Drake also remarks “you make more money than I do, that sh*t attractive”. Forbes reports that in 2012 and 2013 combined, Draked earned $30 million whereas Rihanna earned $48 million in 2013 alone. The song also features a snippet of Rihanna’s vocals from a YouTube video who says “Say hi M”, after Drake raps “with Jen and Melissa”. Melissa Forde is Rihanna’s best friend.
