Wack 100 And Blueface Are Not Beefing!

(AllHipHop Rumors) The new generation of rap and hip-hop has defined its own standing. Supported by the culture, the music industry is a young man’s game and rightfully so.

Rapper Blueface has been one of the brightest emerging talents out the west coast. Not only that, but he was one of the hottest rappers period in 2018.

His song “Thotiana” quickly became a national hit. This after going viral and spreading like wildfire on social media.

Blueface later would sign a record deal with Cash Money West. There he has been represented by one of the best managers in the biz, Wack 100.

However, rumors started swirling that Blueface was unhappy with Wack 100 and his record deal. This after Wack 100 took to social media claiming he and Blueface were beefing.

Blueface would later respond with the following:

“I ain’t fuccin wit @wack100 no more bro finna do this shyt on my own if you don’t want yo manager all up ina videos ina club dancin an sh*t sign wit BluefaceENT.”

The posts were later deleted and Wack 100 popped up in the studio with Blueface to address the whole situation and thankfully, it seems like they were just trolling everyone.

Michael Jordan Gives $1,000,000 to Help Hurricane Dorian Victims

(AllHipHop News) Basketball icon Michael Jordan has donated $1 million to help Hurricane Dorian victims in the Bahamas recover.

The retired top athlete pledged his support to various relief efforts in the Caribbean focusing on areas destroyed by the natural disaster, which hit the archipelago nation last week and claimed the lives of at least 50 people.

“I am devastated to see the destruction that Hurricane Dorian has brought to the Bahamas, where I own property and visit frequently,” Jordan said in a statement through his representative Estee Portnoy. “My heart goes out to everyone who is suffering and to those who have lost loved ones.

“As the recovery and relief efforts continue, I will be tracking the situation closely and working to identify non-profit agencies where the funds will have the most impact.

“The Bahamian people are strong and resilient and I hope that my donation will be of help as they work to recover from this catastrophic storm.”

Hurricane Dorian has also left thousands of residents unaccounted for as relief efforts pick up steam.

Jordan is the latest celebrity to donate cash to the Bahamas, with director Tyler Perry and rapper Ludacris also contributing funds to storm charities.

Offset Accused Of Flossing With Jewelry He Hasn’t Paid For

(AllHipHop News) Migos rapper Offset is it in New York shining, while a jeweler claims he still owes for his flashy bling.

Offset has been spotted around the city for events surrounding New York’s Fashion Week.

The rapper has been spotted at shows like Jeremy Scott & Pyer Moss and others.

But his jeweler was also busy in court this week filing a lawsuit against the rapper.

Guven’s Fine Jewelry claims Offset is holding on to $400,000 worth of jewelry he hasn’t paid for.

The jewelers say the rapper has not paid for 18-karat gold, iced out tennis bracelet, which cost $140,000.

He’s also in the hole $95,000 for a diamond necklace a platinum bracelet worth $40,000.

Legal reps for Guven’s Fine Jewelry Uber forced to file the lawsuit because the demand letters they sent to offset for payment went ignored.

They are seeking the return of their jewelry, and they want Offset to cover their legal costs.

Young Thug’s Tax Bill Gets Even Bigger

(AllHipHop News) Young Thug’s tax bill to the state of Georgia is growing larger by the day.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Young Thug was hit with another lien by the IRS.

The rapper never paid his state taxes for the year 2014. Now the original debt of $16,000 is almost doubled to $30,000 since the debt has gone unpaid.

Back in July, the IRS accused Thugger of owing that $145,000 for never paying taxes on income he made in 2015.

The IRS has warned Thugger to pay up, or they will start seizing his assets to cover his massive tax bill. 

A Rihanna Collaboration With Lizzo Is About To Happen

Lizzo’s dream of recording a song with Rihanna could happen, since the singer a fan of the rapper.

(AllHipHop News) All of Lizzo’s dreams are about to come true after Rihanna admitted she’d love to collaborate with the “badass” singer.

Earlier this year, the “Truth Hurts” singer called for a collaboration with the “Umbrella” hitmaker, after Rihanna raved about the newcomer’s MTV Video Music Awards performance.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna revealed the admiration is mutual, as she said she’d team up with Lizzo in a heartbeat.

“Gosh I love Lizzo. She’s so badass,” Rihanna said. “I would collaborate with her on the lights for this interview right now like Lizzo is so badass.”

Rihanna also hailed the singer as the perfect representation of her new Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which she debuted at a fashion show in New York on Tuesday evening.

“She is everything that Savage stands for. A confident woman, no matter what size, color, shape. Your attitude is what makes you savage. It’s the confidence that you have in yourself and it’s the confidence that you can give off to people who look like you and feel like you and those are the people that identify with the brand.”

Wiley Trashes Drake, Says Toronto Rapper Is No Longer Welcome In The U.K.

(AllHipHop News) Drake has a serious problem on his hands over in the U.K.

Grime rapper Wiley trashed Drake earlier today, claiming he’s blocking the release of a record with Popcaan and Nicki Minaj.

Popcaan is an artist on Drake’s OVO Sound imprint, while he and Nicki Minaj were label mates on Lil Wayne’s Young Money imprint.

The bad blood between Drake and Wiley seems to have started when the Grime star accused Drake of being a “culture vulture” back in April.

Wiley dissed the Toronto-born rapper while he was in town during his seven-date run at London’s O2 Arena.

Wiley’s comments appeared to have rankled the rapper, who replied during an interview on BBC 1xtra.

“It’s Wiley that said that I’ll just say his name because that was some goofy s##t,” Drake said. “But yeah, I just didn’t like that. I was like, ‘Dude what are you talking about?”

Wiley, real name Richard Kylea Cowie Jr., is no ordinary rapper. He’s a legendary rap star, who is largely considered the “Godfather of Grime.”

In 2017 he was named one of the UK’s most influential black musicians.

According to Wiley, Drake is no longer welcome on U.K. soil

“@Drake Suck ya mum don’t come back to England,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

The high-profile criticism is a bad book for Drake, whose critically-acclaimed series “Top Boy” is slated to make its premiere on September 13. 

blink-182 Rescheduled Concert With Lil Wayne Canceled Again

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne’s tour with blink-182 is becoming better known for the cancellations than the actual concerts.

blink-182 scrapped their upcoming tour date at the Nationwide Arena, which was all set for September 22.

The September 22 date was a makeup date the band promised fans after they canceled their June appearance in the city which was supposed to kick off their joint-tour.

The rescheduled date featured All Time Low as Lil Wayne’s replacement, but now the entire gig has been axed according to Live Nation.

In total, this is the fourth show without Lil Wayne. In late August, he missed a gig due to issues with his plane.

Lil Wayne was too sick for a performance with the band in July, and he walked off the stage during the first night of the tour in Virginia.

Bishop Nehru To Release ‘My Disregarded Thoughts’ Project

(AllHipHop News) 23-year-old Hip Hop artist Markel “Bishop Nehru” Scott is already a seven-year veteran of the music industry. His 2012 mixtape, Nehruvia, introduced the then-teenager to a wider audience as an emcee to keep an eye on. 

Scott went on to release other solo projects like StrictlyFLOWz, MAGIC: 19, and Elevators (Act I & II). He also partnered with MF Doom for NehruvianDoom as well as Dizzy Wright and 9th Wonder for the Brilliant Youth EP. The Nanuet, New York representative is now preparing his next album My Disregarded Thoughts.

“I came up with the title for this record before I’d even started making music,” says Bishop. “My Disregarded Thoughts was originally planned as the title of my first ever mixtape, but that never happened – the reason was, I wanted the project to be as eccentric as possible, but I needed to be in an artistically comfortable place to create that. Now I’m finally in that place, ten years later.”

Nehru, MF DOOM, DJ Premier, and Maaly Raw provided production for My Disregarded Thoughts. The two-act LP (The Abyss and The Escape) is scheduled to hit DSPs on November 8 via the Nehruvia record label. As a precursor, the rapper/producer/video director dropped the single “In My Zone” which is featured on the NBA 2K20 soundtrack.

“If you love what you’re doing and you create a lot, you’re gonna evolve,” says Bishop. He also declared, “I’ve become way more comfortable making music, more confident than ever before in how I present my music. Now, nobody is better than me.”

Yasiin Bey Set For ‘Black On Both Sides’ 20th Anniversary Concert In NYC

(AllHipHop News) “Ms. Fat Booty,” “Umi Says,” and “Mathematics” are some of the most revered tunes in Yasiin Bey’s catalog. All three tracks appear on the same album.

The Brooklyn-bred spitter, then known as Mos Def, dropped his debut solo studio LP Black on Both Sides in 1999. The project is certified Gold by the RIAA and widely recognized as a Hip Hop classic.

Bey is set to perform the entire Rawkus release at the Brooklyn Steel on Sunday, November 3. Bronx rap duo Camp Lo is on the “Black On Both Sides 20th Anniversary Concert” bill as well.

Black on Both Sides included contributions from Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, and Talib Kweli. One year before that project hit stores, Mos and Kweli teamed up for the equally well-received Black Star album.

Jeezy Hints At Recording Full Joint Project With A Legendary Producer

(AllHipHop News) Jeezy has been insisting that TM104: The Legend of the Snowman is his final album. However, the Trap legend left the door open for a possible collaborative project in the future.

Beats 1’s Ebro Darden asked Jeezy if he ever considered recording a full joint effort with a super-producer such as Pharrell Williams or Swizz Beatz. The Atlanta native’s answer suggested something could be in the works.

“I’m just gonna tell you, you smart… You smart. He’s smart,” responded the southerner before laughing. Jeezy worked with Swizz Beatz for 2007’s “Money in the Bank” remix. Plus, Pharrell and Jeezy linked for the eventually leaked “Rumor Has It” record.

TM104: The Legend of the Snowman included production by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Lex Luger, DJ Montay, Ben Billions, D. Rich, and others. The LP peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 chart, giving Jeezy his 10th career Top 10 album.

Ja Rule Admits To Having “Major Trust Issues” Following Fyre Festival Fiasco

(AllHipHop News) Yes, people are still talking about the disastrous Fyre Festival. Two 2019 documentaries about the failed music event in the Bahamas put a lot of attention on Jeffrey “Ja Rule” Atkins.

The New York City rap star was heavily involved in the creation and promotion of the Fyre Festival in 2017. Atkins was also heard in Hulu’s Fyre Fraud film saying the organizers may have engaged in “false advertising.”

PodcastOne’s The Next Ten interviewed Ja Rule for the show’s debut episode. Actress Paola Paulin, sports broadcaster Lindsay McCormick, and entrepreneur Kate Edwards talked to the Pain Is Love album creator about having faith in future business partners.

“Oh, I have major trust issues,” responded Ja Rule. Following the Fyre Festival embarrassment, the 43-year-old Growing Up Hip Hop: New York cast member is moving forward with his talent booking service known as Iconn.

In addition, Ja told The Next Ten, “I always like to say, ‘I don’t lose, I learn.’ Because this is not life or death. It’s not over. I’m not dead. I didn’t die. So, yeah, I learned a lot from this situation. A lot of mistakes were made, and I can blame myself for some of the things, and other things I’m like, ‘Woah.'” He also admitted Fyre was a learning experience on not allowing someone else to enact his vision.  

Fyre Festival founder Billy McFarland ended up pleading guilty to one count of wire fraud. In 2018, the convicted fraudster was sentenced to six years in federal prison and ordered to forfeit $26 million. Several civil lawsuits were filed against McFarland, Ja Rule, Fyre Media, and others.

Kobe Richardson On Crushers Club Founder: Her Intentions Are Pure, She Loves Us

(AllHipHop News) Crushers Club was one of the first organizations to receive a $200,000 donation from the new NFL/Roc Nation’s Inspire Change partnership. The Chicago-based nonprofit quickly became a trending topic for something other than philanthropy.

A three-year-old photo of Crushers Club founder Sally Hazelgrove, a white woman, cutting a black teenager’s dreadlocks went viral after the Inspire Change announcement. The caption for the tweet pic read, “And another Crusher let me cut his dreads off! It’s symbolic of change and their desire for a better life!”

Hazelgrove faced significant backlash for seemingly perpetuating that African-Americans have to shed their natural hair in order to be accepted into white society. Crushers Club issued a statement about the matter, but critics still questioned the intent of the mentoring program.

Kobe Richardson was the person in the photograph with Hazelgrove. The Crushers Club joiner appeared in a social media video explaining that he wanted to change his hairstyle because he was tired of gangbanging.

That message was also hit with negative reactions. Some people believed Crushers Club, the NFL, or Roc Nation forced Richardson to appear in the clip defending Hazelgrove. He has since spoken to media outlets to further address the controversy.

“No. [I didn’t believe cutting my dreads would give me a better life.] That was something I wanted to do. I didn’t look at dreads as a [cultural] statement. It was a popular hairstyle back then in the rap industry, and I just wanted to wear it like everybody else,” Richardson told BET. “I was tired of the dreads and wanted a different look. I came to her and asked her to cut them for me because I didn’t have any money to go to the barber. The whole reason there was a picture is because I asked if I could get a picture of me one last time with the dreads, so I can have a memory.”

He added, “Sally has built a bond with us. She wants to create more opportunities for us. People in Englewood come around and partner with her to offer jobs to members of the club. Her intentions are pure and she loves us.”

Richardson and Elizabeth Talbert, the mother of another Crushers Club member named Elijah, also visited The Angie Martinez Show. They talked about how it is understandable why some people were concerned about the “white savior” perception of Hazelgrove but insisted she is a positive influence in their community. Richardson also pushed back against the narrative that Hazelgrove is a supporter of Donald Trump.

Lil Nas X Talks Kevin Hart Interrupting Him During LGBT Discussion On ‘The Shop’

(AllHipHop News) Superstar comedian Kevin Hart found himself as the target of woke Twitter once again. Hart caught backlash for his comments on HBO’s The Shop when Lil Nas X was asked about coming out as homosexual.

“He said he was gay. So what?” expressed Hart before Lil Nas could answer a question about his announcement during LGBT Pride Month. The stand-up comic was also accused of gaslighting the 20-year-old rapper by appearing to not understand why it was difficult for him to reveal his sexuality.

LNX has now addressed The Shop controversy. He spoke about the highly publicized moment while sitting down with Atlanta’s HoodRich Radio.

“No, I’m not mad at Kevin Hart. A lot of situations like that… I don’t try to get into that,” said the “Old Town Road” hitmaker. “I don’t try to get into these situations ’cause online I’m just here to be funny and laugh.”

He added, “.I’m not tryin’ to say anything, because when you say anything your words get twisted and you have to say something about that. It’s just on and on, so I don’t even try to get into anything really. But no, I’m not mad at Kevin Hart.”

After a host of the show suggested the public should not be angry with Kevin Hart if Lil Nas X is not upset, LNX responded, “I’m not saying what anybody should be.” Earlier this year, Hart was in the hot seat for perceived homophobic tweets from 2010 and 2011.

EXCLUSIVE: Kanye West Switches Up Lawyers In Battle For Freedom With EMI

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West has ditched his legal team as his battle with EMI over his publishing contract continues in court.

In January, Kanye filed a lawsuit against EMI in a California state court, seeking to be released from a “lopsided and oppressive” publishing contract.

According to Kanye, his agreement stipulates that he can never retire from his music career.

Kanye sued the publishing giant in a California court in an attempt to get out of the deal, which was signed in 2003.

EMI bosses countersued Kanye West over his “servitude” contract, saying the terms of the agreement are legal in New York, where the deal was not only executed but renewed as well.

Reps for Kanye were in court earlier this week, where they disclosed he was dropping his old counsel, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP.

The law firm of Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks, Lincenberg & Rhow, P.C. now represents Kanye West in his battle for freedom and the songs he recorded after 2010.

In addition to representing Kanye West, Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks, Lincenberg & Rhow, P.C. will defend the rapper’s other companies tangled up in the lawsuit as well, including one named Please Gimme My Publishing.

Tekashi 69 Will Snitch About Plot To Harm Casanova And More!

(AllHipHop Rumors) How can I make something more interesting than what you already know. Well. That’s going to be hard, but lets try. First, Tekashi is officially snitching. As a tool of the government, prosecutors have laid out their plan to get the bloods. 

The U.S. Attorney in Manhattan sent their strategy to , outlining their strategy, which basically means he is going to throw his former homies under the bus! Right now, he has yet to testify, but he’s about it. They say Tekkie is going to NAME NAMES in exchange for a shorter jail term as opposed to football numbers in jail. 

One thing that stood out is that Tekashi will have to cop to a conspiracy to hurt / kill Casanova! Apparently, some of the lyrics that Cas wrote seemed to be jabs towards Tekkie so they decided – allegedly – to handle him! More than that, he’s going to reveal who allegedly did what through texts, DMs and social media posts. The Nine Trey Bloods are not going to be happy.  

He’s also going to tell him Seqo Billy according to this letter from the prosecutors. Dude! We interviewed Billy and he’s a cool dude! But Tekashi is going to spill his guts and say that he put a word out for the Bloods to shoot the rainbow haired rapper. Check out the interview with Seqo Billy.

The report from TMZ is that Tekashi was basically a BANK for the gang, funding everything. When Tekkie decided to stop sending them money, he was a target, according to the report and subsequently kidnapped and robbed! Tekkie WAS staring down 47 years in the BING, but now he’s going to get out pretty fast, because of his full cooperation with the authorities.

Post Malone Waiting For Eminem To Call Him Back For A Collaboration

The singer pursued a song featuring Slim Shady for Hollywood’s Bleeding, but talks fell through due to scheduling issues.

“What a f##king legend,” Malone said during a chat with host Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show. “There was a time where we were working everything out but just timing-wise sometimes they just don’t match up at the right time. There will be a time.”

Although he missed out on working with Eminem this time around, Post Malone did manage to line up some hot talent by collaborating with Travis Scott and Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne on his new song “Take What You Want.”

Kanye West’s Space-Age Dome Houses Torn Down

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West’s housing project has suffered a major setback after authorities reportedly ordered the dome-shaped structures be destroyed.

According to reports, prototypes for the star’s “Yeezy Home” social housing project were demolished following orders imposed by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, because the rapper hadn’t obtained the proper permits.

The project, which comprised of large, conical, wooden structures, had been built close to the home the star shares with wife Kim Kardashian in Calabasas, California.

It is unknown whether the star plans to relocate the construction site following the demolition.

The 42-year-old’s foray into architecture was revealed in a profile piece for Forbes magazine in July, with reporter Zack O’Malley Greenburg describing Kanye taking him on a tour of housing prototypes “inspired by (Star Wars character) Luke Skywalker’s childhood home.”

“West has been working with a team to design prefabricated structures that sport the same austere aesthetic, to deploy them as low-income housing units,” he wrote of the “Gold Digger” hitmaker’s plans.

Chris Gotti Says Jamie Foxx On Board To Play Drug Kingpin Who Tried To Kill 50 Cent

(AllHipHop News) Irv Gotti’s success with his BET series “Tales” is just the start of a new push into the TV and film business with his brother Chris.

According to Chris Gotti, he and Irv have 10 high-profile projects in the pipeline, including a movie about the “Supreme Team” crew of drug dealers in Queens, New York.

During an interview on The Outlaws Radio Show on iHeartRadio, Chris Gotti said Oscar Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx has committed to play Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, the leader of The Supreme Team.

“We got ‘Tales: Season 3,’ greenlit. We have ‘Tales: Gospel,’ greenlit. We have ‘Tales: R&B,’ greenlit. When I say greenlit, I mean contracts, it’s done,” Chris Gotti said.

Chris also said a Latin version of “Tales” and a spin-off talent show based on the “Tales” brand was on the way, along with an untitled movie about a rapper selling his soul to the devil.

And then Chris Gotti dropped a bombshell revelation about their next project.

“We have The Supreme Team movie., greenlit. We’ve got Jamie Foxx committed and signed on playing Supreme,” Chris Gotti revealed.

The Supreme Team organization was headed up by Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff.

McGriff is the gangster who allegedly ordered a hit on 50 Cent over his song “Ghetto Quran,” which, resulted in the rapper infamously being shot nine times.

McGriff is serving a life sentence for a $50,000 murder-for-hire plot.

In 2001, Eric “E-Money Bags” Smith and Troy “Big Nose” Singleton were killed, and a New York jury convicted McGriff of being part of the conspiracy concerning their deaths.

Singleton was murdered execution-style on October 28, 2001, for a double murder, in addition to allegedly pistol-whipping Ja Rule’s manager outside a Queens, New York nightclub.

McGriff was also convicted over the killing of E Money Bags, who supposedly murdered one of Preme’s closest associates, Colbert “Black Just” Johnson.

E Money Bags was murdered in May 2001. He was shot 10 times after gunman opened fire on the rapper’s SUV, as he sat parked on a Queens street.

Both of the Gotti.brothers have a close bond with Supreme, which resulted in a two-decade feud between Murder Inc., G-Unit and 50 Cent.

The brothers’ loyalty to Supreme was also tested during a high-profile trial, in which the government accused the brothers of using a movie called “Crime Partners” to launder Supreme’s drug proceeds.

No release date has been slated for the untitled project.
