Cam’ron & Faizon Love Accuse Each Other Of Being Gay

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Cam’ron and comedian Faizon Love have spent the last two days clashing on Instagram. What started as a conversation about Jay-Z’s drug-dealing past turned into a rivalry involving homosexuality.

During a recent appearance on the Hip Hop Uncensored Podcast, Love blasted Jay by saying, “This n*gga ain’t sold no cocaine in his life.” Cam fired back, “Faizon don’t know what the f*ck he’s talking bout. Whether legally or illegally n*ggas got to it.”

Then the situation somehow became a contest to see which entertainer can make the gayest jokes about the other person. Cam’ron and Love uploaded a total of a dozen posts directed at their adversary.

Cam wrote in one IG post:

Now before I post this I have no problem with anybody in the LGBTQ community. I have people from this community in my family/friends/I work with and love ones. I respect all walks of life. With that being said. @faizonlove posted some memes of me being gay. Which I’m not. But this isn’t a meme fat boy. This really u.. #UgotSomeexplainingToDo this the roles u want? LAZR – “Lost It” Video

(AllHipHop Music) As the tumultuous summer of 2020 kicked off, Las Vegas-bred recording artist/songwriter LAZR (Love And Zero Regrets) unveiled his breakthrough project titled ‘Blawsome.’

The release was a long time coming for LAZR who has built a reputation as one of the more sought after songwriters in music. Collaborating with the likes of Tyga and Future highlighted his talents to the industry.

What followed was a bevy of opportunities for the then-newcomer, including serving as an opening act on Chris Brown and Tyga’s 2011 F.A.M.E. World Tour.

Not one to rest on his laurels, LAZR further built his cache as a songwriter. More recently, he penned hits for YK Osiris (“Shakira”) and Summer Walker (“Body”).

Now, looking to up the ante as an artist and executive, LAZR has launched his own imprint Super Nova Music. ‘Blawsome’ serves as the first official release for the label and now LAZR has unveiled the first visual from the project with the LouieKnows-directed clip “Lost It.” Check out the video below.

Reports: Body Of Rapper LB da Boss Recovered From Lake After Tragic Drowning

(AllHipHop News) According to the Pottstown Mercury, the body of a 27-year-old male has been recovered from Hopewell Lake in French Creek State Park in Pennsylvania.

It is believed that this is the body of battle rapper LB da Boss from The Gates of the Garden rap league.

Sunday evening, his friend and fellow battle rapper Bill Collector took to social media to announce that the emcee was missing. He detailed that while he and another friend were fishing somehow he went missing.

The local news, as reported yesterday, was able to fill in the blanks not provided by the understandably distraught URL star. While fishing, the boat capsized. Everyone inside of the boat was accounted for except LB.

According to the WFMZ.com, the rescue team was tapped 5:30 p.m. (around dusk) to search for the lyricist. The team kept looking until 3:00 a.m. Monday morning. They resumed the search at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning. Though they have searched the lake and the shoreline, there still has been no progress (at the time of publishing).

Bill Collector was able to confirm that the teams were there on his personal Facebook account.

Update: The Search arrived at 10:30am, 2 boats and a scuba team. (July 27, 11:51 am)

Update: everybody involved is here and stories check out. No word yet but we still out here! (July 27, 7:34 pm)

Search Party going out at 6am. Who coming to help find bro? We need help! Thank you to everyone that came today (prayer hands) (July 27, apx. 4 pm)

I have no service at the Park/ Lake so message or text me if you coming to hep search and I’ll answer when I can! E meeting by the Pool area! (July 28, apx. 1 pm)

LB’s body, though the name has not been released according to the Mercury, was recovered a 1:15 pm by Boyertown-based Keystone Water Rescue and Recovery, acting Berks County Coroner Jonn M. Hollenbach said.

His autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday July 29th at Reading Hospital.

More details are being revealed. The outlet also suggests that there may have been more than 3 people in the boat, including children.

The battle rap community is mourning.

URL Presents “Ultimate Madness Season 2” – This TIme All-Stars Want In ON The Craziness

After the success of SMACK URL’s Ultimate Madness (Season 1) tournament series on Caffeine TV, the world’s most respected battle rap league is back, less than a month later, with the second season of competition.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by SMACK/URLTV.TV (@urltv)

It does not seem that the Ultimate Rap League is slowing down, proving that the coronavirus may have shut down Hollywood and the NFL, but it will not change the course of Smack White, E. Beasley, and Cheeko — the masterminds behind the legendary brand.

You may be wondering what could the team do differently with the upcoming tournament that was not done in UM1? Were they able to pull talent from The Crucible (URL’s new artist development franchise) or did they grab up some of the competitors that could not get in the first exhibition that awarded Ohio’s Fonz $25,000?

Oh, no! That would be too predictable. If you know anything about that crew over there … nothing that they do is predictable.

From their partnership with Drake and Caffeine (who saw that?) to their implementation of 24-hour mandatory COVID-19 testing before a battle, these guys don’t look at battle rap simply as an underground hobby that as promoters they can get some quick bread off of … they see it as a business, a thriving industry that if positioned correctly can feed generations.

To that end, UM2 will take the best of URL’s more established gladiators and allow them to jump onto the lyrical battlefield and fight to the end.

Who are some of those emcees on the card?

The first day of competition will consist of the following contests:

Th3 Saga vs. Holmzie Da God, Glueazy vs. Emerson Kennedy, Danny Myers vs. Reepah Rell, and Tink da Demon vs. Franchise.

The second day of competition will feature these emcees:

Loso vs. Nunn Nunn, Mr. Wavy vs. Steams, Mike P vs. Ryda, and Young Cannon vs. Bill Collector.

URL and Caffeine TV have partnered with Woobox to allow fans to enter into a free chance to win serious cash. If you sign up to Caffeine TV, you can go to woobox.caffeine.tv and hop on the opportunity to win 1st place $2500, 2nd place $1000, or 3rd place $500.

Judges for the season are bigger and even more notable than those of the last (as if you can truly get bigger than 15 Minutes of Fame, HipHopIsReal, and Champion). Tony Bro returns to sit with the legendary battle rap icon, Iron Solomon, The “Queen” of the emcee ring, 40 BARRS, and the Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man.

The first round takes place this Saturday, August 1 at 4 pm EST (1 pm PST) on Caffeine TV.

There is never a dull moment with URL

Megan Thee Stallion Fans Demand Tory Lanez Be Thrown Out Of The U.S.

(AllHipHop News) Violent Americans have for years been warned that they can’t bring their guns and violence into the peaceful country of Canada.

Consider Spring 2019, when Kodak Black just knew he was going to be able to mosey his way right on over the border, but got hit with an arrest for daring to bring a firearm with him as he crossed Niagara Falls.

So … what is the United State’s policy of violent Canadians that bring their guns and bust the proverbial caps into one of our celebrated and law-abiding citizens (allegedly).

Surely, there are laws — but America’s system is taking too long to move through “due process.” Thusly, everyday citizens have a tool that they use (often) to let politicians know where they stand on burning issues like this, hoping that they will not only take note … but take action.

After Megan thee Stallion was shot in both of her feet, a revelation that she personally shared on her Instagram Live to her family, fans, and friends, many are asking for her rumored ex-boyfriend, Tory Lanez to go back to the Great White North where he came from.

Forget the next “Chixtape,” they want him gone.

At least that is what a petition on Change.org says.

Simply titled, “Deport Tory Lanez” the two-week-old petition has only a little under 16,000 signatures of the goal max of 25,000.

The copy says, “Deport Tory Lanez (Daystar Peterson) back to Canada and ban him from coming to America FOREVER. This little 5’3 man with a big ego has contributed nothing to the American Economy and promotes violence and violence against women. Furthermore, he should be banned from the United States FOREVER for intentionally trying to harm Megan the Stallion. SEND HIM BACK TO CANADA ASAP!”

It was stated by El Swerv0 and will be directed to the Department of Homeland Security.

Indeed, if there is an example of domestic terrorism … It can be seen in this alleged act that he committed against the Houston bombshell rapper and college graduate.

Many on social media are wondering why it has taken so long to bring justice to Megan thee Stallion, believing that if she were white that there would be more attention and Tory would have been out of here.

Jam Master Jay’s Daughter Opens Black-Owned Gym In Downtown Los Angeles

(AllHipHop News) You don’t always have to tune into WeTV’s “Growing Up Hip-Hop” to find out what Hip-Hop legends’ children are doing,

Some are just out here in the world, handing their business and getting their coins and that is most certainly true with Jam Master Jay’s daughter, Tyra Myricks.

You probably have not heard of Ms. Myricks because she has not been in a rap group, does not have a reality show, and has not used her celebrity as a tool to get into every popping party in South Beach.

Though she might be at the parties, it is because of her big-time industry job. Tyra Myricks is currently the Head Designer of Drake’s OVO clothing line.

In addition to her gig with “God’s Plan” emcee, she has just opened a gym in downtown Los Angeles with Nadgee Ndjebay and Zimzon Zion, two plugs in the fitness world. The three are presenting to the world the first Black-owned gym in that area called, The Method.

The Method is described as a fitness and wellness center that will be affordable for everyday people. Unique to The Method is a 30-minute workout called, “METCON” that helps members burn up 800 calories.

There are ten top of the line trainers working with their clients, who consist of professional athletes, artists, business people, and even stay-at-home moms.

The center opened on July 12, days before the City of Angels shut down after the increase of coronavirus cases. The plan is to resume instruction when the mandate is lifted.

Kanye West Files To Be On New Jersey Ballot For President

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West is serious about his 2020 presidential bid this upcoming November.

While he won’t be featured in Ohio during the first debate between President Donald Trump and the former vice president under the Obama administration, Joe Biden, he is taking all the steps to make sure that when the time rolls around his supporters can cast their vote for him to be the nation’s 46th POTUS.

The first step is to get on the ballot in all the states that he can. To do that, each candidate has to complete an application process to be listed — Because Yeezy and his team started late, they are currently at the beginning of said system.

According to reports, he has started the process to be on the New Jersey ballot, doing so by submitting a petition with 1,327 signatures of support — giving proof to the state that his candidacy has a base in the state. The requirement for an Independent candidate (Kanye is running for The Birthday Party) he only needs 800 John Hancocks.

Kanye should be fine for the Garden state. That is unless he runs into the same trouble that he hit in Illinois.

In Illinois, his home state, he needed a set number of signatures to be considered for the ballot. He submitted 3,200 and it was found that less than 1,000 were actually valid. That’s right … they checked them bad boys.

The hearing to see if he will be considered or disqualified is set for next week. New Jersey has until Friday, July 31st to have someone come forth with their issues.

The “College Dropout” rapper has submitted for Missouri and Oklahoma also.

Run The Jewels Announces New Cannabis Strain “Ooh La La”

(AllHipHop News) Fans are used to getting high on their lyrics, but now Killer Mike and El P’s Run the Jewels got that gas for your musical (fill in the blank).

The Hip-Hop duo, Run the Jewels, has entered into the cannabis game in collaboration with one of the most recognized weed brands in the rap world.

Lemmonade is a sister brand to the Cookies brand and El-P and Killer Mike have announced the launch of their first branded stain called, Ooh La La with the cannabis company.

Lemmonade is a Sativa-focused cannabis collection that is grown by Growing Passion, according to Leafly.com.

Quite popular because of its citrusy flavor, the company reports that its tasting notes reveal an aroma of lemon drops and fresh berries, which allegedly gives off a ”strong head high with a light body feel.”

A Sativa, versus an Indica or hybrid, works with the user’s mind— creating a head high. Unlike Indica, that might make you sleepy, this type of cannabis keeps you alert, uplifted, enhances creativity, and can give you a burst of energy.

This makes sense since RTJ features two of the smartest emcees in the game.

Along with this announcement comes two additional 2020 milestones, that will uplift you like Ooh La La promises: a new lyric video for “JU$T featuring Pharrell Williams and Zack de la Rocha, from their critically acclaimed release RTJ4.

The rappers also made a massive $170,000 donation to the National Lawyers Guild Mass Defense Program.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has some people paralyzed, others are making it happen, creating generational wealth and speaking out against the bulls##t going on in the nation.

Facebook Deactivates Wiley’s IG And Facebook Accounts Over Anti-Semitic Rant

(AllHipHop News) Days after British rapper Wiley went on an almost 12-hour anti-Semitic rant on Twitter, Facebook has deleted his personal account on their main social media platform and Instagram.

Apparently, the “Godfather of Grime” carried over his venom against the Jews from one platform to the next. According to the BBC, several posts were found under his birth name, Richard Kylea Cowie that referred to celebrities of Jewish descent in a derogatory manner.

Wiley wrote: “Listen Golders Green ring my sister and let’s meet asap…David Baddiel come and talk to my face…” and “Who called the police? Are you from Golders Green? I am coming to sit down with you… Labyrinth you could come along as you have forgotten what colour you are…”

Though he misspelled his name, it was clear that he was referring to Labrinth, an East London emcee who checked Wiley over the weekend for his defiant stance that offended millions of his fans.

A representative said that he was removed because he was in “repeated violation” of the company’s policy on hate speech.

Facebook’s Community Standards (12) reads as such:

“We do not allow hate speech on Facebook because it creates an environment of intimidation and exclusion and in some cases may promote real-world violence.”

“We define hate speech as a direct attack on people based on what we call protected characteristics — race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, and serious disease or disability. We protect against attacks on the basis of age when age is paired with another protected characteristic and also provide certain protections for immigration status. We define attack as violent or dehumanizing speech, statements of inferiority, or calls for exclusion or segregation. We separate attacks into three tiers of severity, as described below.”

Twitter has not disabled his account. Instead, they have deleted posts that they have deemed inappropriate.

Did Talib Smash Former Adult Film Star Sara Jay?

For some reason, I hate putting Talib Kweli in the rumor section. I think it’s because of my affinity for his music and his ability to articulate pain, struggle, and combat racism. But these days it is really hard to keep Bro out of the rumor section because of the slew of gossip that is coming out of social media. Now you already know about the Twitter beef he had with a young lady that said he was a colorist, you might know about his artist Res charging sexual abuse, and if you look closely you might’ve heard the next rumor.

The latest rumor is that Talib Kweli has had some sort of sexual relationship with retired adult film star Sara Jay. Now Sara is an OG in pornography and she is very much a MILF at this point. I am not going to say bad things about her, but I will say that when she appeared on AllHipHop in a very brief interview and the response was not positive. People were going in on us like never before for even featuring her on the platform. When all that happened, she was a pretty nice person but it seems like that does not matter especially when you’re dealing with a conscious, pro-black rap artist that is for the most part revered and loved. Yes, I am talking about Talib Kweli. If you remove the last couple of years, dude is pretty much a freedom fighter and a conscious dude we can be proud of. He owns a bookstore that sells a plethora of knowledge-based books and is also 1/2 of the revered rap group Black Star with Mos Def. We loved these guys!

Did I mention that Sara Jay is white? I think that is the reason this is a “thing.” I may not have said that but she is! And that makes things even worse in this rumor! You know how the Internet works! the Internet will slay you when they get the chance and they will compound any problems that you have. They start looking in every corner and crevice of your life to find something to go viral.

It seems like Talib has a good circle of friends like Dave Chappelle around him. I am not sure what is going on with his wife, but it certainly seems like she has bailed completely. It is my understanding that they were estranged anyway.

There is some good news, Talib has a new album on the way.

“Cultural Currency” is the first full album by a major artist to drop on subscription service Patreon. Go to https://www.patreon.com/TalibKweli for more info.

Here is that Sara Jay interview, by the way.

August Alsina Earns Highest Debuting Entry On R&B Songs Chart With “Entanglements”

(AllHipHop News) Typically, controversy sells. For several days, August Alsina was the topic of a lot of conversations after he opened up about his now-ended relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith.

Since Jada was still married to Will Smith at the time, sections of the public were extremely interested in exactly how August ended up dating the actress. Jada eventually sat down with her husband on her own Red Table Talk show where she described the affair with August as an “entanglement.”

It did not take long before August Alsina flipped the newly coined term for a complicated relationship into a song. “Entanglements” with Rick Ross arrived on July 18.

The track debuted at #7 on Billboard‘s most recent Hot R&B Songs chart. According to Chart Data, “Entanglements” gave Alsina his highest-debuting record on the Hot R&B tally.

August Alsina has scored Top 10 entries on the Hot R&B Songs chart with other songs from his discography. 2013’s “I Luv This Sh*t” featuring Trinidad James peaked at #4 and “No Love” featuring Nicki Minaj peaked at #6.

He also found success on that particular list twice with DJ Khaled – 2014’s “Hold You Down” (#4) and 2016’s “Do You Mind” (#8). The 27-year-old singer-songwriter also had six songs that made it onto the main Hot 100 chart.

21 Savage Offers Megan Thee Stallion Public Support After Tearful Video Goes Viral

(AllHipHop News) There are still a lot of questions surrounding the shooting involving Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez. Meg took to Instagram to offer some of her side of the story.

The “Savage” rapper quickly became a top trending topic on Twitter as her IG footage went viral. In the video, Meg fought back tears as she talked about still dealing with her mother’s 2019 death and allegedly getting shot in her feet on July 12.

Over the last few weeks, Thee Stallion became the punchline of many jokes online. Hip Hop artists like 50 Cent and Cam’ron posted memes making fun of the apparent domestic violence victim. 50 later apologized

One fellow rap star took a different approach. Atlanta’s 21 Savage tweeted a positive message to the Houston native. On Monday night, he wrote, “Wish I could give Megan a hug praying for you ❤️.”

On the night of the Los Angeles shooting, Tory Lanez was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle. The Quarantine Radio host has not spoken publicly about the situation, and Megan has yet to confirm that Lanez is the person that shot her that night.

“It’s not that I was protecting anybody. I just wasn’t ready to speak. That’s not no sh*t you just immediately get on the internet and start talking about,” said Thee Stallion during her IG Live session. “That’s a lot of y’all’s motherf*cking problem. Y’all take y’all whole life to Instagram and Twitter and make it a f*cking diary. That’s not me.”

Puma Announces J. Cole’s The RS-Dreamer Signature Sneaker

(AllHipHop News) Recently, J. Cole gifted his fans with two brand new songs. While he warned his supporters they will have to wait a little while longer for an album, they do have the chance to purchase another product connected to the southern emcee.

Puma is launching J. Cole’s first signature basketball sneaker called The RS-Dreamer. The shoes will be seen on the feet of Puma Hoops athletes including NBA and WNBA players.

“When said out loud, all the best dreams sound crazy. Dreamer was created with the belief that, still, we must follow ours, no matter how unachievable they may seem to others,” states Cole in a press release.

He adds, “Over the years, basketball shoes have progressed greatly in their level of technology and comfort but have strayed too far away from designs stylish enough for cultural relevancy. The Dreamer hopes to change that reality. The highest level of on-court performance meets the highest level of aesthetic design for daily wear. Once again, you can hoop in the same shoes you wore outside.”

The RS-Dreamer, retailing for $125, will be available exclusively at Foot Locker brands such as Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs, Footaction, and Eastbay as well as PUMA.com and Puma stores beginning Friday, July 31. A limited Puma apparel 2 collection that compliments the sneaker will also be available.

Earlier this year, J. Cole and PUMA officially announced their multi-year partnership with the reveal of the Sky Dreamer sneakers. The Dreamville Records founder also co-directed a short film, titled The Dreamer, which aired during the NBA All-Star game.

DaBaby & Roddy Ricch’s ‘Rockstar’ Remains At No. 1 For A Seventh Week

(AllHipHop News) The #1 song in America still belongs to DaBaby and Roddy Ricch. “Rockstar” leads Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart for the seventh nonconsecutive week.

DaBaby’s Blame It on Baby smash has led the chart for most of Summer 2020. The song only gave up #1 for a single week to 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj’s “Trollz” in June.

With the 11-week reign for Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” from January to March, the Compton native has spent a total of 18 weeks in the pole position. That means he has been at #1 for 60% of the weekly Hot 100 charts in 2020.

Jack Harlow’s “Whats Poppin” featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne returned to #2 on the latest Hot 100. Plus, Drake made history as a contributor to DJ Khaled’s “Popstar” (#3) and “Greece” (#8). Both records debuted in the Top 10.

The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” held onto #4. SAINt JHN’s “Roses” climbed three positions to #5. Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” with Beyoncé remained at #6. Chris Brown and Young Thug’s “Go Crazy” jumped 19 spots to reach #10.

Drake Surpasses Madonna For Most Top 10 Hits In Hot 100 History

(AllHipHop News) Aubrey Drake Graham just added another chart milestone to his résumé. The Canadian rapper/singer earned his 39th and 40th Top 10 hits.

Drake is featured on DJ Khaled’s latest singles. “Popstar” opened at #3 on this week’s Hot 100 chart, and “Greece” debuted at #8 in the Billboard rankings.

With 40 total entries, Drake broke a tie with Madonna (38) for the most career Top 10 songs. He sits atop a list that also includes The Beatles (34), Rihanna (31), Michael Jackson (30), Mariah Carey (28), and Stevie Wonder (28).

Drake could rightfully be crowned “The King of Billboard.” The OVO superstar also holds the Hot 100 records for most total entries, most Top 40 hits, most Top 10 debuts, and most consecutive weeks on the chart.

In addition, Drake is in the top ten for most cumulative weeks at #1, most cumulative weeks in the Top 10 most consecutive weeks in the Top 10, most Top 10 singles from one album, and most #1 debuts. “Toosie Slide” became his third #1 debut in April.

KAYWHT- “Don’t Worry”

(AllHipHop Music) R&B singer-songwriter KAYWHT latest release “Don’t Worry” is here to get you ready for some summertime sunshine.

The upbeat and fun track aims to be your top played song of the summer. “Don’t Worry” is a perfect play for those rides with the windows down, by the pool, or in your home as you quarantine.

Hailing from Memphis,Tennessee, singer/songwriter KAYWHT was greatly influenced by the performances and music of Beyonce growing up and credits this as the reason she’s in love with performing today.

This influence eventually led to her debut performance on TV at a local news station in Memphis at the age of 9.

Music remained a part of her life as she got older, leading her to join a choir and began writing her own songs, but it wasn’t until she found her way to Dallas in 2011 that she decided to pursue a career in music.

Unsure of how to get started, she began posting online covers of popular songs, some of which went viral. This gained her traction and a fanbase, as well as recognition by well known artists such as Summer Walker and Kehlani. It was this support and success that made KAY decide to venture into creating and releasing her own music.

KAY released her debut EP titled ‘ETA’ in September of 2019. This five-track collection of songs, which includes hit “11:30 Interlude” which played off of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer”, gained KAY buzz both online and throughout the DFW area.

Keeping her finger on the pulse of pop culture, KAY ways to incorporate topics in her songs that listeners are familiar with. Which is what she did in March of this year when she released single “Pity” which had a nod to a nostalgic line from Disney hit, “The Cheetah Girls.”

KAY describes her latest release, “Don’t Worry” as a unique transition from “Pity”. This upbeat track is all about chasing the vibes of Summer. She was inspired to create a song that people can have fun to and wanted to release something that made people feel good.

KAYWHT is currently working on new music and is looking forward to releasing new tracks throughout the year.

Take a listen to “Don’t Worry” below.
