Porcelan- “Grimey”

(AllHipHop Music) Porcelan is an RnB singer from Memphis who has been singing and performing since she was young.

She’s shared stages with the likes of Tank & Stevie Wonder, and worked with hit producer Timbaland.

Her single “Grimey” is another melodic anthem for the ladies, and Porcelan lets her emotions spill all over the beat.

Produced by 2x Platinum producer Txpski, who produced Chris Brown’s “I Do” and “Sip”, this ballad is an ode to heartbreak and relationship woes, yet leaves you with the confidence you need to get your groove back.

50 Cent Issues Megan Thee Stallion An Apology

(AllHipHop Rumors) 50 Cent has apologized to Megan Thee Stallion for making fun of her getting shot allegedly by Tory Lanez. The apology comes after Megan Thee Stallion took to social media for the first time since the alleged incident.

“Damn I didn’t think this sh*t was real, ‍♂️ It sounded so crazy@theestallion i’m glad your feeling better and i hope you can accept my apology. I posted a meme that was floating around. I wouldn’t have done that if i knew you was really hurt sorry. ‍♂️.”

50 Cent is known for being a troll on social media and continually berates celebrities with impunity. But this time he seems like he genuinely feels bad about belittling Megan Thee Stallion after getting shot in both of her feet. It has been a long time, but one might remember that 50 Cent himself was supposedly shot upwards of nine times in an attempt to kill him. So the irony was not lost when he was making fun of Megan getting blasted.

By the way, I do not believe he thought it was “fake” – lol! he just did the right thing.

By the way, today is Tory Lanez’s birthday and this is also the same day that Megan chooses to speak out. I don’t think there is an ounce of irony in this occurrence. I think it is a well-timed, well-placed message to the Canadian MC. On the flipside, Tory Lanez is as quiet as a mute church mouse and has said literally nothing whatsoever.

Juicy J Challenges Nas To A Battle And Hilarity Ensued!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Why would Juicy J challenge Nas? There are a lot of battles swirling around in this Verzuz-social-media universe like KRS-One vs LL Cool J, but this one came out of nowhere. Today, Timbaland decides to throw out there to the fans, “who do you guys wanna see Battle next?“ And out the window jumps Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia fame saying him versus Nas. HUH?

Now there have been some mismatches but this is the biggest of all! First of all, these guys are completely different and their rap styles are even more different than they are as human beings. Second of all Nas is far more lyrical than Juicy J. Thirdly, Juicy J is dope, but he occupies a completely different space in the Crunk, Southern domination, and Tear Da Club Up world! I think he was just trolling when he said that but he’s trending on Twitter right now just because of it!

Can I get a day off?!

But as usual, the comments on social media did not disappoint! Check out some of the things that were said in the aftermath of Juicy J saying he wanted to be the next versus battle with Nas! LOL!

Some people took time to slander Nas…but did they inhale Covid and exhale hate?

Are Nas And Lupe Fiasco Cooking Up Something?

(AllHipHop Rumors) This could be wishful thinking or we can call it a rumor. At the moment, it is just something that Lupe Fiasco wants to do, but lets put it in the air. I was just listening to “American Terrorist” by Lupe and it is an incredible song! Dude is really one of the most underrated rappers ever. Nas is not!

However, in recent years, Nas has not exactly been killin’ it! This could work!

“We talked about the Amy Winehouse record, right?” It was like, go in the studio, Nas has a bunch of blunts there—he’s obviously ready. … It’s like, ‘Oh, what are we doing? What am I stepping into? What are we finna do right now?’ The conversation that we had was incredible—it was unbelievable. And then it went into, ‘Ok, so what are we doing? What do you want to do?’ And I told him about the Amy Winehouse piece. I was like, ‘This is what I’m engaged in right now, conceptually—maybe it tickles your fancy. … It just tapered from like, ‘Ok, let’s see, whatever.’ Then Nas goes on to be Nas, Lupe goes on to be Lupe. So that’s kinda where it ends.”

“I have Nas’ phone number, so I’m feeling myself maybe a month ago and I was like listening to some beats, going through the concepts. … I was just like, ‘You know what, let’s do an EP. Life is short, COVID-19. Let’s do an EP.’ I’ve not heard back yet.”

I know Nas is an introverted fella, but this can be a game-changer! Come on Nas! It’s just an EP!

By the way, all of this was in a podcast with Ebro on Apple Music. Check it out.

Battle Rapper LB da Boss Missing After Capsizing In Lake

(AllHipHop News) While many are still buzzing after this past weekend’s Gates of the Garden Atlanta “Open the Gates III” card, where Nu Jerzey Twork and Prep battled in a surprise two on two battle against Chef Trez and A-Ward.

But another shake-up in the battle world is getting little to no attention at all: battle rapper LB da Boss is missing after capsizing in a lake in Pennsylvania.

However, AllHipHop is committed to shedding light on anything important to the culture.

According to various social media posts made by Norristown rapper Bill Collector and other fans, fellow emcee LB da Boss has been missing since Sunday afternoon.

The Staten Island rapper went missing after a fishing trip in French Creek State Park’s Hopewell Lake. He was casting rods with Bill Collector and another partner when the small boat capsized.

The URL rapper and another person were secured, but LB is still missing.

Multiple water rescue crews were sent out on Sunday night and Monday morning, surveying the park near the border between Berks and Chester counties.

According to the WFMZ.com, the rescue team was tapped 5:30 p.m. (around dusk) to search for the lyricist. The team kept looking until 3:00 a.m. Monday morning. They resumed the search at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Though they have searched the lake and the shoreline, there still has been no progress (at the time of publishing).

Hopewell Lake is a a 68-acre (28 ha) warm water lake and 20 feet at its deepest.

Some fans have already started sending in their condolences, one even alleging through rumor that he was murdered.

Others are just sending up their prayers.

With a career battle record of 25 contests, LB da Boss battle mostly on Gates of the Garden and Spittaz Battle League.

Megan Thee Stallion Gives Details About Getting Shot On IG Live

(AllHipHop Rumors) Megan Thee Stallion hits Instagram for the very first time since getting shot. The queen of the south did not divulge who shot her but she did reveal that she was shot in both feet. Megan appeared to get seriously emotional when talking about getting shot but she thanked everybody for their support.

Megan appeared to get seriously emotional and then she went explain she had to get the bullets taken out via surgery.

“I was shot in both of my feet. I had to get surgery to get the bullets taken out. It was super scary,” Megan said in a video on IG. “Oh Lord, I didn’t think I was going to cry. I had to get surgery. It was super scary. It was just the worst experience of my life.”

She was also highly critical of those people that may have had jokes or diminish the severity of the wounds.

“It’s not funny. There’s nothing to joke about. There was nothing for y’all to start making fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do sh#t,” she said. “Thank God that the bullets didn’t touch bones. They didn’t break tendons. I know my momma, my daddy, my granny had to be looking out for me with that one ’cause where the bullet hit at, it missed everything. Them motherf#ckers was in there. It’s not that I was protecting anybody. I just wasn’t ready to speak. That’s not no sh#t that you immediately get on the internet and start talking about.”

Despite all of that, she still hasn’t divulged who shot her. I understand that she has to hold back to keep us all in suspense but it would be nice to get this over with so that we can move on. This election is 99 days away!

Is Kanye West Snitching On Drake And His Sexual Activities?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Kanye and Drake have a very interesting relationship, and I am not about to go into all of it right now. However, I think that it is suffice to say that they are not good friends. And this latest rant by Kanye West yields some rumors about Drake and who he’s laying down with.

How much we believe about what Kanye has to say is anyone’s guess. He has been suggesting that Drake is tapping the booty of one Kris Jenner, the mother of Kim Kardashian and others. No, when I first heard this rumor, I laughed. And I thought to myself, “What in the world would make Drake hit that?” He damn near threw up when he kissed Madonna!

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Kris Jenner (@krisjenner)

But then when you look at some of the breadcrumbs around the situation, it starts to make sense. More than that, Kanye West has left enough STUFF for this rumor to take flight. First of all Kris Jenner lives very close to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, but when you look at some of the aerials on the location of Drake’s house, you see he’s not very far from them location-wise. Drake has taken us lotta pictures with Kris Kardashian, but that does not mean that he’s crushing the cougar. It also does not mean he is not crushing the cougar! I know this is a silly childish and everything else goes back to Kanye West.

A couple of years ago Kanye West stated some things as well saying that he was trying to meet with Drake for months and also that he’s been texting and talking to Kris Jenner. “How you gone text Kriss [sic] but not speak to me,” tweeted West in 2018. “You sneak dissing on trav records and texting Kris talking bout how’s the family.” Just more ramblings, but hmmmmmm….

It just occurred to me that MediaTakeOut has already reported this a ways back. I bet Kanye looked at their report and took it as facts. Sad. Kris Jenner is around 65-years old and Drizzy is 33. Get it how you live!

Florida Rapper 9lokknine Charged With Attempted Second-Degree Murder

(AllHipHop News) On Friday buzzing rapper 9lokknine was taken into custody in Orlando on possession of a firearm and an attempted second-degree murder charge.

The rap artist, born Jacquavius Dennard Smith, is signed to the legendary Cash Money Records label.

9lokknine was charged for firing a gun into an occupied structure,” and for having a firearm as a convicted felon.

Earlier this year, 9lokknine was taken into custody for a separate concealed firearm charge.

Currently, the 20-year-old is being held at Orange County Jail after his bond was revoked by a judge due to prior charges from a separate case.

This story is still developing and neither Cash Money Records nor Republic Records have released a formal statement in regards to the arrest.

Jermaine Dupri Left Devastated After Artists Reject Charity Song

(AllHipHop News) Jermaine Dupri has sought inspiration from Quincy Jones’ classic “We Are The World” after facing rejection from artists who have declined his invitation to appear on his charity song.

Dupri is producing the song, “Change,” inspired by Jones’ 1985 U.S.A for Africa song “We Are the World,” and has so far looped in artists including Johnta Austin, Ne-Yo, Kelly Rowland, Monica, Miguel, Gary Clark Jr., JoJo, Eric Bellinger and Angel.

But the hitmaker revealed that after several other artists rejected the opportunity to join the project, he was left desperately seeking inspiration after doubt set in.

“I’ve had a few people who rejected being on the song, a week ago those rejections had me in a f##ked up space,” he told The New York Post’s Page Six.

“I’m trying to do something good for the cause… so I had to get myself out of that funk. I’m a songwriter, so when someone rejects one of my songs, I start thinking the song sucks immediately.”

He continued: “That’s when I started reading. I read that when Quincy and Michael (Jackson) did We Are the World, Prince came to the studio, and he rejected being on the song. When I saw that, it relieved me because I’m like, ‘That’s why Prince wasn’t on the song, because he didn’t like the song.'”

Reading up on Jones’ journey reenergized the hitmaker and gave him the boost he needed.

“(I also read) Cyndi (Lauper) thought the song sounded like a soap commercial or something, and a couple of others said they didn’t love the song … So, that gave me my next week of confidence and I started reaching out to the Detroit Choir … It’s a song that represents this current time that we’re in,” the 47-year-old added.

Layzie Bone Recalls Epic Session w/ Biggie & New Project ‘Wanted Dead Or Alive’

Layzie Bone might be your favorite rapper out of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony — and for good reason. The Cleveland, Ohio native came up as a proud member of the legendary rap group, serving as the younger brother of Flesh-N-Bone and cousin to Wish Bone. The story goes, all the group members took one-way bus tickets from Cleveland to Los Angeles, and was homeless before getting in touch with Eazy E of N.W.A.

After finding out the West Coast rapper had a show in Cleveland, they immediately jet back to their hometown to perform. While he didn’t see their performance, they got their opportunity to rap for Eazy backstage. In June of 1994, “Thuggish Ruggish Bone” was released and the rest is history.

Real name Steven Howse is now focused on his solo career, while being his own CEO to 2 entities: Mo Thugs Records and Harmony Howse Entertainment. While he boasts legendary status in all facets of his life, his humility and authenticity remains pure as ever. He states, “I’m a very simple, easy-going man.”

Now, he releases his highly-anticipated Wanted Dead or Alive, which he deems his best project to date. AllHipHop caught up with Layzie Bone at the Kandypens house in Los Angeles to discuss the early days working with Eazy E, studio session with Big, almost getting his finger bit off, his new album, and being outsmoked by Snoop.

AllHipHop: What was Layzie like, back when you guys first met Eazy E?

Layzie Bone: I’m still the same, I haven’t really changed much. I calmed down as far as being more focused on my business, but I still have a good time. I’m the host of the show, I get it going all the time. Everybody’s going to enjoy it when I’m hosting.

AllHipHop: How hard was it to get on being from Cleveland?

Layzie Bone: Well, a one-way bus ticket. Very different from now where you could DM somebody. We had to actually get on a Greyhound. We were on in Cleveland, we had an album called Faces of Death through Stoney Burke Records. We’re pretty popular in Cleveland, but we had to leave for nationwide fame.

AllHipHop: How accurate was the portrayal of Bone Thugs in the N.W.A. movie?

Layzie Bone: It wasn’t really a portrayal of us in the N.W.A. movie, not at all. When Eazy E went to the club and met Cube that night, we were there. They made mention of that at the Tunnel. At the end of the movie, Yella had a scene with E when E’s in the hospital bed, he slid him the tape and E never got to hear it. That’s how the movie ended. On that note, what I’ma do is take it as an alley-oop and start Bone Thugs-n-Harmony movie right there.

AllHipHop: What’s the latest with that? You have to capture all those memories!

Layzie Bone: We’re working on it. It’s work developing the script. Every Bone can have a different movie. We’re really that complex. We have individual friend stories but the whole Bone Thugs story, the way that happened is amazing.

AllHipHop: You guys remember everything?

Layzie Bone: Let me tell you, Wish got shot by Krayzie Bone with a shotgun in real life. n##ga shot me in the head. My brother did 10 years. Bizzy Bone was kidnapped as a kid, all this old weird, crazy s##t that life threw upon people. But the movie? Ooh wee, when it comes together! I can’t give you all of it.

AllHipHop: What’s it like reliving those moments? I’m sure at the time it was hard to get through.

Layzie Bone: We handled it pretty well. We stayed into the music, the only thing that kept Bone Thugs-n-Harmony alive. We hit the studio and talked about it.

AllHipHop: What were those recording sessions with Eazy E and Big Pun?

Layzie Bone: Eazy E was cool, he let us do whatever we wanted to do. Big Pun, that’s my n##ga too. Big Pun and Flesh-N-Bone had a song together right when Big Pun was entering the game. Fat Joe was introducing him. We were really cool with Terror Squad, still are. Joe’s my brother. n##gas be cool. The dynamics of where I’ve been: 27 years famous. It doesn’t look like that but going through all the different phases of everything, you spend enough time in this game. We did remarkable things, that’s why my new album’s called Wanted Dead or Alive. I sampled Bon Jovi. They allowed me to, s##t’s dope.

AllHipHop: What’s the significance in the title, Wanted Dead or Alive?

Layzie Bone: Because I’ve seen so many legendary rappers die. At first, it was Marvin Gaye. That’s the first singer I ever heard got murdered, I was a little kid at that time. Then Tupac, then Biggie. It’s so many others that you understand this music that we put down, the words we choose to say, is here forever. From being in Bone Thugs, I know that I’m wanted dead or alive. As long as I relay the right message, it’s going to live forever. It’s called eternal music.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CCHUtuMHndh

AllHipHop: What are you giving us content-wise on the album?

Layzie Bone: It’s 18 songs on the album, then an intro. It’s all my family. I got my sons on the album: Jeremy, Stevie and Stevon. We Harmony Howse. My last name’s Howse, gotta get the brand right. You can’t f##k the brand up.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CCC2nWRHxbQ

AllHipHop: How old are your sons?

Layzie Bone: 27, 18, and 16. I’ve got them guys, HC the Chemist, Flesh-N-Bone, Krayzie Bone, Dame Dolla from the Portland Trailblazers, my homeboy Gramm. I got my family surrounding me on this one.

AllHipHop: What’s your relationship with Dame?

Layzie Bone: We’re cool, he’s a real down-to-earth man. Dame is the realist, he can really rap. I go with the real music. If I could feel your heart, if I could feel your pain, then I’ll become your fan. If it’s all facade and about the flash, that’s not how I get down.

AllHipHop: Why is this your best body of work?

Layzie Bone: Because I really was every day putting my feelings into the album. It feels like I predicted things coming along, I got a song called “Resolution.” Different things I say on this record came to the light. My wordplay, the choice of the people I kept around me, everything was perfect. There was no stress involved in making the album.

AllHipHop: In your opinion, who had the best verses on BTNHResurrection?

Layzie Bone: It’s between Krayzie and Bizzy, just the way the beat drops baby.

AllHipHop: Lil Wayne went on record saying he has to recite his lyrics to remember them. Do you remember the lyrics to your songs?

Layzie Bone: Yup, when the song is on. but if no music is playing, I can’t think of none of that s##t. [chuckles] You gotta imagine, we have thousands of raps. Thousands, not a couple of albums.

AllHipHop: I don’t know how you guys do it.

Layzie Bone: Because the brain is that powerful. You can memorize whatever you want to. Especially if you do it in song, it’s easier.

AllHipHop: Can you rap “Shoot Em Up”?

Layzie Bone: See, how that s##t start? [begins to rap]

“So me and the rest of these thugs can marinate, marinate

We straight, get high, so high

That’s how my mental, that’s how my mental state as I parlay, parlay

Like everyday, don’t think I don’t pin playa hation

But ya better pinnin’ yourself, or contend with the M-11

.357 Automatic weapons from my shelf

These n##gas wanna take my health and wealth

Check yourself, tryin’ to contend, but they couldn’t win

You took it to the head with a fifth of Hen

Now we in a red 500 Benz-o, we roll, roll

Drop the top, and lock the locks, c### the Glock.”

I don’t know what the f##k I said, but something like that.

AllHipHop: Do you miss performing, or are you enjoying this break?

Layzie Bone: Both. I miss performing. We actually did a show in Houston last week. Practicing safe distancing, it was different.

AllHipHop: People in the crowd were spaced out?

Layzie Bone: Yeah, until the music came on. [laughs] Motherf##kers were like “ayeee.” Forgot about all that.

AllHipHop: Why isn’t Everyday Thang on streaming?

Layzie Bone: Because it was a part of a soundtrack, it’s business involved in that. Contracts, different companies we were dealing with.

AllHipHop: Who’s the closet female rapper that could hang with Bone with the fast rapping?

Layzie Bone: Probably Da Brat. Still, right now. She be chillin’ though, I’m watching.

AllHipHop: Can you bring us back to when your finger almost got bit off in Hawaii?

Layzie Bone: Long story short, I let people in my room. We were chillin’, kicking it. This motherf##ker had to on meth or something, it was a strong ass man. I had to fight this motherf##ker and this motherf##ker bit me. He was aggressive and extra. I learned can’t everybody get close to a n##ga, it’s a process. He bit me!

AllHipHop: Hella hard?

Layzie Bone: I had to get my s##t reconstructed. My motherf##king gristle was poppin’. That n##ga bit me to the gristle bone. No pun intended to myself.

AllHipHop: What’s the premise of Harmony Howse Entertainment?

Layzie Bone: What I’m trying to do is be on my entertainment conglomerate. I got my kids, everybody plays their specific roles within everything that’s creative. Harmony Howse was created to create the dynasty so we could always give back to the arts.

AllHipHop: Any epic studio memories from working with Biggie?

Layzie Bone: That n##ga Big put my motherf##king weed in his pocket man. I swear to God. We getting high, sitting at the mixing board. We all chillin’. We took a picture right there too, that s##t’s been viral for years. After the session, Big’s like “I’ll holla at ya’ll.” Hold up, that’s my weed n##ga. About a quarter ounce.

AllHipHop: What did he say?

Layzie Bone: “My bad.” You know how people put lighters in their pocket? But you know, we balling. I was wondering if I should say something at all. “n##ga, that’s my weed!”

AllHipHop: How much are you smoking in a day?

Layzie Bone: I’d say about 2 eighths if I was by myself all day. Every time I get a chance, I smoke weed. For the past 32 years, every day.

AllHipHop: How old were you when you first smoked?

Layzie Bone: 12. One time, me and Krayzie Bone had some weed the homie gave us. We smoked it, we was young as f##k and we cracked up. I don’t know what the f##k we was laughing at but that’s we always used to do: laugh.

AllHipHop: Do you guys low key celebrate every first of the month?

Layzie Bone: Every day is the first of the month for me. I try to practice being happy, you feel me? We bubbly. We dead serious too.

AllHipHop: Do you smoke a certain type of weed?

Layzie Bone: If I’m writing, in a writing, creative mood, then I want to smoke a sativa. If I’m sipping wine and having a good time discussing life, then a good indica. A good OG.

AllHipHop: Do you care if your kids smoke?

Layzie Bone: I care if they smoke cigarettes, then I’ll be like “what the f##k are you doing?” Weed never hurt nobody. If my kids are grown and that’s what they choose to do, I’ll support that over any other thing you can put in your body that’s intoxicating.

AllHipHop: Have you ever been outsmoked by an artist?

Layzie Bone: Snoop man. That n##ga Snoop something else. Let’s say I fell asleep up under the major console there with the big board, just for a minute.

Ciara And Russell Wilson Reveal First Pics Of Baby Boy Win Wilson

(AllHipHop News) Ciara (34) and Russell Wilson (31) have just given birth to their beautiful baby boy, making their family a complete five: mommy, daddy, two boys, and a princess.

The baby boy’s name is Win Wilson and he was born on July 23.

The R&B Princess of Atlanta shared the first pics of the baby boy over the weekend.

At the top of the year, Jan. 30, both influencers posted images of Ciara with her baby bump and her bikini.

Ciara simply posted “Number 3,” on the intimate family photo apparently taken by her hubby, Russell Wilson.

On his profile, he is pictured taking a selfie with Ciara in the background —bump all glistening. He is proud of the family they are building.

The three children, Win, 1 day, Sienna, 2, (both by the Seattle Seahawk player) and Future Jr., 5, (pop’s the Atlanta rapper), will surely keep the couple on their toes.

Amidst all the COVID-19 drama and civil unrest in the world, this is a great way to keep them all smiling.

Bryan “Birdman” Williams Finally Unloads Luxurious Miami Mansion

(AllHipHop News) Rap mogul Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams has finally sold his Palm Island pad in Florida after taking a big hit on the price.

The Cash Money Records boss offloaded the massive seven-bedroom mansion for $10.85 million – almost $5 million less than the asking price in late 2018 when it first hit the market.

The Palm Island mansion was once owned by former Rockstar Energy CEO Russell W#####, as well as producer Scott Storch.

Birdman purchased the mansion for $14.5 million in October 2012 and he spent a few million in renovations to the 20,000 square-foot, seven-bedroom, 12 bathroom mansion that has elevators, a 100-foot waterfront, movie theaters, basketball courts, and other amenities.

Biz Markie Hospitalized With Serious Illness

(AllHipHop News) Biz Markie has fallen victim to a serious illness, according to sources, and has been hospitalized in Maryland for “several weeks” now.

Biz’s rep has cleared the air with TMZ, stating that he isn’t ill from coronavirus and that he was admitted due to complications from Type II diabetes.

His condition is still unknown at the moment but sources have said that it is a serious matter.

Easing the minds of family, friends, and fans, a rep did state that he “is receiving the best care from an amazing team of medical professionals,” and that they “remain positive about the outcome.”

His diabetes diagnosis isn’t new, however. The 56-year-old rapper had initially opened up about his condition in 2014, after losing 140 pounds for his health’s sake.

His dedicated efforts came after he was told by doctors that he could lose his feet if he didn’t get his diabetes under control.

In 2014, a sugar-free soda line called, Zelta, hired Biz as their spokesperson as his weight loss was inspiring for those suffering similar conditions.

“They said I could lose body parts. A lot of things could happen.”

Biz Markie is a pioneering rap legend as a member of The Juice Crew. Biz hit the big time as a solo artist with his classic, enduring single “Just A Friend.”

Wiley Could Go To Jail For Anti-Semitic Tweets

(AllHipHop News) British grime star Wiley is facing a police investigation over accusations of antisemitism.

The “Wearing My Rolex” hitmaker started posting antisemitic tropes on his Twitter feed on Friday, writing Jews “make me sick.”

Wiley accused Jewish people of controlling businesses and comparing them to the Ku Klux Klan while insisting Israel should not be a Jewish state.

https://twitter.com/WileyCEO/status/1286766466252013569

Activists from the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA), reported the star to U.K. authorities, and Metropolitan Police officials have now confirmed to AllHipHop that they are investigating.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We have received a number of reports relating to alleged antisemitic tweets posted on social media. The Met takes all reports of antisemitism extremely seriously. The relevant material is being assessed.”

After attracting widespread criticism, Wiley’s longtime on-and-off manager, John Woolf, confirmed A-List Management also “cut all ties” with him following the rant.

https://twitter.com/WileyCEO/status/1286763699944984576

Woolf, who is Jewish, wrote on Twitter on Saturday morning: “Following Wileys anti semitic tweets today we at A-ListMGMT have cut all ties with him. There is no place in society for antisemitism.”

He had earlier said he did not support or condone what Wiley posted but that he would speak to him privately and “help educate him.”

Woolf did not detail whether any discussions had taken place.

https://twitter.com/WileyCEO/status/1286735677372104711

CAA activists also called for the revocation of his Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) medal, and asked officials at Twitter and Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, to close his social media accounts.

Mike Tyson & Roy Jones, Jr.: Promoter Don King Tells What Nobody Else Is Saying

(AllHipHop News) Don’t call it a comeback! Roy Jones, Jr. and Mike Tyson are not the only boxing luminaries set for a return to the sport of boxing.

Legendary boxing promoter Don King hosts a fight between a pair of undefeated heavyweights – Trevor Bryan and Christopher Lovejoy – on September 26 for the WBA interim heavyweight title.

AllHipHop’s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur got Don’s thoughts on the upcoming exhibition fight between Roy Jones Jr. and Mike Tyson in an exclusive interview.

“You know, those are two icons. They’re both icons. You know, it’s a great form of entertainment, but it’s also a great message,” the 88-year old said. “[Men are] still out there, you know, putting their lives in jeopardy. I don’t care who you are. You got to respect it, man. Waking up those three steps [into the ring]. You ain’t got a league [like other sports] where you can take a ‘time out’ to sit in a separate room. When you go in there, you had to deal with it real! That guy? That’s your opponent.”

He said he intends to invite the two champs to his fight after theirs on September 12 at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

“I’m going to invite Tyson and Roy to the fight,” King said, “Both of them are heroes as far as I’m concerned. As a promoter, Don King has promoted iconic fights for Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins, Félix Trinidad, as well as Tyson and Jones, Jr.

He continued, “I love Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson came to me and he says, ‘Don [anytime] I tell the truth about you. They won’t give me nothing. But if I tell the lie about you, [I can get paid],'” he said of a conversation with Iron Mike. “I said, ‘Get the money! Whenever you want to get the money.'” I’ve never said anything negative about Mike Tyson. But Milke Tyson has berated me to the high heavens. I let him survive. Yeah. I have Roy Jones. Roy Jones [split from] his father [who trained him in the 90’s], Roy Jones. His father did everything in the world to get Roy Jones [successful] and give him that and you can’t forget for your father. You know Roy Jones made a little slip there, you know because you don’t forget the dirt road.”

The fight between Trevor Bryan and Christopher Lovejoy is to be broadcast on the Impact Network. His team is working on logistics around the location.

In our full interview with Don King, the 88-year old legend talks about his friendship with Donald Trump, his hopes for Black America, his favorite fights, and much more.

Lupe Fiasco Talks Designing Ahmaud Arbery Commemorative Shoes With Virgil Abloh

(AllHipHop News) The killing of Ahmaud Arbery made national news. Footage of two Caucasian men assaulting and shooting the 25-year-old, unarmed African-American jogger in Brunswick, Georgia sparked outrage.

Travis McMichael and Gregory McMichael were finally arrested for murder and aggravated assault 74 days after the incident. William “Roddie” Bryan, a suspected accomplice, was also charged with felony murder and attempt to commit false imprisonment.

In response to Arbery’s murder, runners from around the world took part in the #IRunWithMaud campaign to help celebrate his life and spread awareness about the case. Recently, Hip Hop artist Lupe Fiasco teamed with designer Virgil Abloh to commemorate Ahmaud in another way.

The Off-White fashion label founder was featured on “Homme Made” and “Shoes” from Fiasco’s new collaborative House project with producer Kaelin Ellis. The latter track includes Abloh talking about designing a pair of running sneakers in honor of Arbery.

Abloh states on the single:

But this shoe, these Air Ahmauds or these Air Arberys, are starting to take shape now. You know? They connect man and earth. They allow you to run
That running is freedom, accelerated heart rate by design through design.
Air Ahmaud, Air Arbery. What color are these shoes? The upper of these shoes
maybe white, maybe black, pick your favorite. But, you know, the world’s black and white anyways. So might as well limit the whole color palette to that. Signed, Virgil Abloh, in quotes of course.

More could be coming from the Abloh-Fiasco partnership. On Apple Music’s Rap Life with Ebro Darden, Lupe said, “Piggybacking onto the ‘Running with Ahmaud’ campaign that kicked up and people filming themselves jogging. It was a certain level of memorialization. Okay, how can we complete that? How can I add to that, with what I do, beyond just writing a song about it? Yo, let’s make the shoes.”

The Chicago-bred emcee added, “It was time spent trying to find the shoes that he actually wore. We intentionally, actively spent time looking through the footage, trying to get a sense of what it was without being too macabre about it or being too disrespectful, but to be accurate. Then it became, ‘Let’s design that. Go!'”

Fivio Foreign: I Was Mad Pop Smoke’s Suspected Killers Got Locked Up

(AllHipHop News) A lot of fans, friends, and family members of Bashar “Pop Smoke” Jackson are still processing his death. The 20-year-old Brooklyn rapper was killed on February 19 during an alleged home invasion.

Four individuals were arrested and charged with his murder. A fifth person was charged with attempted murder. Three of the suspects were adult males and two were minors.

Fellow Brooklyn representative, Fivio Foreign, sat down with DJ Vlad to talk about Pop Smoke’s alleged killers. The “Big Drip” performer seemed to suggest that he would have preferred to see them face street justice.

“I was tight. I was mad they got locked up,” said Fivio about finding out that the Los Angeles Police Department made arrests in the case. When asked if he wanted the five suspects on the street, Fivio responded, “Uh huh.”

Pop Smoke and Fivio Foreign represent the growing Hip Hop movement in New York City known as Brooklyn Drill. Fivio appeared on the deluxe edition of Pop’s chart-topping posthumous album Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon.

Cam’ron Responds To Faizon Love Blasting Jay-Z’s Drug Dealing Lyrics

(AllHipHop News) Some people look at Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter’s transition from street hustler to billionaire mogul as a real-life “rags to riches” story. Apparently, comedian Faizon Love does not believe the drug-dealer tales found in Jay’s music.

“I like Jay-Z. I like him as a guy and the whole thing he created about this fake dope dealing. That’s when I stopped liking him. This n*gga ain’t sold no cocaine in his life. I don’t think he’s ever won a fight,” said Love during an interview with the Hip Hop Uncensored Podcast.

The 52-year-old added, “He keeps telling all these stories about how he did this, but there’s no stories of the other side of selling cocaine. There’s another side. Somebody’s going to bust you. Nobody ever sold you pancake? All this sh*t sounds like Miami Vice to me.”

Even though the Faizon Love clip hit the internet several days ago, Cam’ron decided to offer his reaction to what the actor had to say over the weekend. The former member of Jay’s Roc-A-Fella Records roster defended his collaborator-turned-rival on Instagram.

“I know me and Hov haven’t had the best relationship (publicly) but Faizon don’t know what the f*ck he’s talking bout. Whether legally or illegally n*ggas got to it. Faizon #UwasntThere #iwasthere for some it #HusltersRespectHustlers #UwasSellingNicksOutTheIceCreamTruck,” posted Cam.

That final hashtag in the caption was a reference to Love’s infamous character from the 1995 comedy film Friday starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. “Big Worm” was a drug dealer that sold marijuana while also driving an ice cream truck.

Drake Wins Legal War Over 3D Stage

(AllHipHop News) Drake has won a legal battle with his stage designer over a $108,000 invoice.

Bosses at the firm Sila Sveta sued the rapper over his 2018 co-headline tour with Migos, claiming he was hired to create an elaborate 3D stage for the Aubrey & The Three Amigos tour but alleged his team failed to pay the invoice.

However, according to reports, they have now dropped the lawsuit, which initially claimed the stage, which utilized drones, a flying Ferrari, and 3D illusions, and was inspired by a basketball court, required extra hours work because several dates on the tour were rescheduled.

Drake filed paperwork claiming he paid the company in full and was considering counter-suing them for breach of contract but the case will not go to court after its dismissal.
