Another PR Stunt? Kim Kardashian Criticized For Darker Skin On New Magazine Cover

(AllHipHop Rumors) The internet stays coming for Kim K!

Our girl just can’t catch a break with the black community it looks like. First, her body was the topic of discussion with half the world calling it fake and bought. Then, her hair was an issue. When she decided to rock cornrow braids and began getting media attention for it, making it seem like she brought it back in style.

Her most recent idea for “breaking the internet” is causing a lot of backlash. Kim recently unveiled her latest magazine cover for 7HOLLYWOOD with very dark makeup. Her comment section on Instagram is filled with people calling her out saying this is considered blackface.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B6Qp6-Fgv6X

Of course Kim came quick with a response. A source told Pagesix.com that the lighting is what makes her look darker and there are other covers and images from this shoot where the lighting looks natural.

I don’t think Kim purposely took pictures knowing her skin was going to come out darker. Kim knows she isn’t black. I think we give her a hard time because of the attention she receives. Let’s give her a break. She is adamant in helping the black community and is trying to be the best influencer she can.

What y’all think? Is Kim trying to start some ish?

Oswin Benjamin: Destiny Is Calling Him As One Of The Greats

(AllHipHop Features) Oswin Benjamin is the next up. Far from a rookie, the Brooklyn-born rapper has grinded for quite some time, but now has found a lane  in which traffic moves at his speed.

This includes crossing paths with Kendrick Lamar, being friends with the likes of Royce Da 5′ 9″ and doing songs with Styles P of The Lox. With the release of his debut, Godfrey, he’s moving quickly into a space of high regard. And being managed by Sway Calloway and Kelly Kinkaid, he’s got great guides to get him through this “fog,” as he puts in.

Get to know, Oswin Benjamin.

AllHipHop: We go back a few years, man. So, first of all, I want you to tell the infamous story of Kendrick Lamar.

Oswin Benjamin:  2012. I remember Kendrick Lamar just dropped, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, and he had an open forum Q&A/ listen at the Apple store in Soho. In Soho. This was before the locks. I had a ‘fro. I was there. My man hit me. He said, “Yo, you got to pull up. Kendrick Lamar. You got to rap for him.” I said, “I’m a rap for Kendrick.” He say, “Yo, we going to find a way. We going to make it happen.”

So I remember, I went. He did his thing. He was talking. He was like, “If there’s any questions,” I was the first hand to go up. Dude gave me the mic. He was like, “What’s your question?” Or Chuck was like, “What’s your question?” And I was just like, “Yo, you mind if I give you a 16?” Chuck was like, “That’s not really a question.” I was like, “But it is, though. I asked if I could give him a 16.” And Kendrick was just like, “Yeah, do your thing.” So I rapped. It was more than a 16. And then like I got hyped. The joint came out, Apple Music or whatever the case is. I think it was Apple music. Yeah, it came out on Apple music, and they cut my whole verse out.

AllHipHop: Yeah, man. Did you dirty.

Oswin Benjamin: Cut the whole … and I told all my friends like, “Yo, I rapped with Kendrick. It’s going to be on the Apple music joint.” Joint came out, everybody’s like, “Oz, you lied. We was looking for it. It wasn’t there.” So, that was my first time ever. It’s crazy how everything comes back around. I’m here sitting … That’s crazy.

AllHipHop: Yeah. You just dropped your debut album this year.

Oswin Benjamin: Godfrey.

AllHipHop: Godfrey. I got the physical album. I’m so happy. So, let’s talk about the album a little bit, and then we’re going to get into some other things.

Oswin Benjamin: Let’s do it.

AllHipHop: So, I listened to the album a couple times. You are doing some things here. It’s a lot of versatility on the album. Before we get into the Hip-Hop part, you sing.

Oswin Benjamin: I’ve been singing my whole life, bro. Grew up in a church and I mean like, grew up in it. Seven days out of the week, we was in church eight.

AllHipHop: Right.

Oswin Benjamin: You know what I mean? And you know, singing on Sunday mornings for the main service. You know what I mean? My mom was singing for the service too. My father played a guitar. That was our thing. I never thought I was going to rap, bro. I thought I was going to be Kirk Franklin or Donnie McClurkin or somebody. I had a terrible ear for melodies, and I was really into poetry, so I would mimic people and make fun of people a lot coming up. So, the rap thing?

AllHipHop: Yeah, yeah. Now since you said it, I was going to get into that too. But I didn’t realize the spirituality until the album too. I was like, wait, hold up. And I was like, is he a gospel rapper? Like I was like low key, like wait, okay, wait. He cursed. So not quite one. Talk about your spirituality and how you weave that in and out on Godfrey.

Oswin Benjamin: So, the thing with the spirituality, I got that a lot from my mother and my father. It’s moreso with the music, my thing was if I got a … It didn’t start off like that, by the way. I just wanted to prove to people I was nice. You know what I mean? So when I would rap, it’ll be to prove that. Yo, I got to show everybody I’m nice. When I saw that people started to listen, it was just like, all right cool. Now I got the ears of people. I got to say something, and my mom would impart that too. Like, all right, cool if you’re going to do this. She wasn’t with it at first. She heard the n##### and stuff like that in the beginning, and she wasn’t with nothing. You know what I mean?

So, what ended up happening was, she was like, “If you’re going to use this, I’m not with it. But if you’re going to use your voice, people are listening. Say something.”

AllHipHop: Yeah.

Oswin Benjamin: So the spirituality, it was always … I never wanted to come off as a gospel rapper or Christian rapper, because I’m not. I’m an artist that loves God and that’s also a human being.

AllHipHop: So, let me ask you a couple questions.

Oswin Benjamin: Talk to me. Nice.

AllHipHop: Are you a thug?

Oswin Benjamin: No. No.

AllHipHop: Did you sell drugs?

Oswin Benjamin: For a little bit.

AllHipHop: Okay. Okay. For a little bit.

Oswin Benjamin: For a little bit.

AllHipHop: I won’t ask what.

Oswin Benjamin: Yeah, no, it’s all good. Very, very short window. It’s not my thing.

AllHipHop: Okay. Okay. And you were born in Brooklyn, but raised upstate?

Oswin Benjamin: Newburgh, yes. 845.

AllHipHop: This climate … So, I’m not a complainer. I find good Hip-Hop wherever I go for sure. But I’ve been taking really special time out to listen to artists that don’t kill too many people, that don’t sell mad weed, and that just talk about regular stuff. You know what I’m saying?

Oswin Benjamin: Just real life stuff.

AllHipHop: You need a space for that, and I think you capture that.

Oswin Benjamin: I appreciate that.

AllHipHop: But how does it work for you, surviving in this environment?

Oswin Benjamin: I think surviving is an interesting word. I think I’m existing more so than surviving. I feel like where I’m at, it’s a slow grind, but I’m not looking for the next hit that’s going to pop. I’m leaving breadcrumbs for my legacy. So, everything that I’m doing, you’ll be able to look back 10 years and say, “He’s always been on this. He’s always been doing this. There’s a place in time for certain things. I’m going to be honest with you, I’m a huge Blackstar fan. Huge. Mos Def, Yasiin Bey, Talib Kweli. I’m a fan. But if I’m going to a club, I don’t want to hear that in there. You know what I mean?

And it’s like, these people that’s progressing and shout out to all of the little ni##as that’s progressing right now, shout out to them, but they exist in a space, and it’s appreciated. You know what I mean? And I know where I would go to find things that are edifying to my mind and my spirit. I know where to find that. And it’s there.

AllHipHop: You work with Sway and Kelly Kinkaid?

Oswin Benjamin: Yes.

AllHipHop: The legends. The one-two punch, the body blow and the headshot.

Oswin Benjamin: Yeah. Mike Tyson.

AllHipHop: Yeah, definitely. How is it working with them?

Oswin Benjamin: Honestly, it’s been amazing. It’s been eye-opening and it’s been a learning experience. For people to believe what you’re doing to the point where they want to invest in you, not just time, but time, money and connections. It takes a lot to do that. I know for me, as an artist, you get … not ungrateful, but you get eager, because you’ve been doing what you’ve been doing for so long.

So you figure like, yo, I just want this to happen. I want that to happen. And you have people that’s been in the game that’s holding your hand through this fog that you ain’t never been through before.  So, they’ve been super patient with me and my journey, and they’ve been able to help me navigate through certain situations, and they’ve opened doors for me that I don’t think I’d have been able to open on my own. Some of the illest people I looked up to in hip hop, we’re friends now. You know what I mean? Like Lupe is the homie now, Robert Glasper, that’s the homie, Chris Dave, that’s the homie. Because they’ve opened up their network to me, I’m able to have conversations with legends. I’m appreciative, first and foremost.

AllHipHop: Do you ever get anxious where you want to conform or where you’re like, let me just do this popular type of style to perhaps open the market up a little bit?

Oswin Benjamin: I’ve tried it. I’ve tried it, just to see. Because one thing I never want to be is a one-trick pony. I feel like content is content, and the only thing that changes is the music that’s around it.

AllHipHop: Yeah.

Oswin Benjamin: I could talk about whatever, but the only thing that’s changing as time is coming up is just the instrumentation. There’s been times I tried it and it was terrible. I done recorded things that’s going to stay in a hard drive forever, just trying different things out, trying different styles. But I’ve never been pressed to put that out into the world, only because I’m going to be mad as hell if I put out some trash and it pop, and then that’s the song that I got to perform for the rest of my life.

AllHipHop: Who do you want to work with? You seem to have a pretty good … a lot of opportunities ahead. Who would you like to get on a track?

Oswin Benjamin: Kells and Anderson Paak, for sure. I’d like to get that done. Speaking this in into the air…Andre 3000 would be great.

AllHipHop: That’s a big-

Oswin Benjamin: Kendrick, for sure.

AllHipHop: Yeah. Of course. You got to get Kendrick.

Oswin Benjamin: Chance the rapper, Pharrell. Rick Rubin.

AllHipHop: Speaking of Rick Rubin, you were in his house or something? What was that about? Because you know, I follow you on social media.

Oswin Benjamin: Yeah. Okay. Bro. It was a life-changing experience. Shout out to Chris Dave for that. I got the call and he was just like, “Yo, I’m working on an album, and if you could be in LA between a certain amount of days, I’d love for you to be a part of this.”

And I was just like, “All right, cool.” I was like, “Where’s it going to be?” Just send me the information. He was like, “Yeah, we’re going to be in Rick Rubin’s spot.” I was like, “No, he’s bugging.” So I went, and this is an exclusive, right?

AllHipHop: Word.

Oswin Benjamin: Let me tell you what happened, dog.

AllHipHop: Okay. Tell me. Tell me.

Oswin Benjamin: This one is crazy. So I went there. I had about $48 dollars to my name. To get to the spot I was staying at to Rick Rubin’s spot, the Uber was $40 cash. I’m talking to my girl on the phone and I’m just like, “Yo, something is telling me that I need to go there tonight.” Because I got the call, and Chris was like, “Yo, you could come tonight or come tomorrow.” And I was like, “I’m out here to work, so let’s get the work done.”

I’m on the phone with my girl and I’m just like, yo, the Uber’s $40 cash. I don’t know how many days I’m going to be up there, but something’s telling me I got to go tonight.”

AllHipHop: Right.

Oswin Benjamin: And she’s just like, “Yo, but how you going to figure everything else out? How are you going to eat?” I was like, “It don’t matter. I’ll drink water. It don’t matter, but I need to be there. I need to beat there. I feel it.” So bro, I waited a little bit. It went from $48 dollars to 64. I was just like, damn, nah, I’m a wait for that to come now.” So then, I spent the $40 cash. I went over there. I’m there. Whole bunch of musicians. I look at the estate I’m looking at the Bob Dylan tour bus.

I’m just like, yo, I saw all of this before, so I’m bugging out. I’m tripping. So Chris Dave was just like, “Yo, look at these records. You think you could get them done? It’s cool.” There was so much discipline that took place in that time. I went to the tour bus. There wasn’t no service on the tour bus. So he was just like, “Yo, you want the WiFi?” I was like, “No, I’m good, because I don’t even want to be distracted to go check Instagram or whatever.” I was like, “Let me knock these joints out.” So I’m knocking them out. I’m getting OD hungry, and I’m just like, n####, this is Shangri La. Ain’t no Wendy’s around here. So I’m like, “Damn, all right, cool.

I’m seeing everybody drink bourbon. Not the smartest thing. So I was just like, I’m going to drink bourbon. I’ll hold it down. I’m going to go to the kitchen, get some bourbon so I won’t be as hungry.

AllHipHop: Right.

Oswin Benjamin: Dog. I go from the tour bus to the kitchen and I see a dude in a blue hoodie just sitting there chilling. I’m just like, “Yo, this dude look wild familiar. I get the bourbon. The dude took his hoodie off. N####, Kendrick Lamar is in the kitchen. Bro.

AllHipHop: Get out.

Oswin Benjamin: Kendrick is in the kitchen, just chilling. Now mind you, the same thing with you. I’ve been speaking, like trying to manifest things into the air for a while. I ran into Kendrick three times prior to this and wasn’t able to really chop it up with him. Once I was at the BET awards. I saw him again 2012 for your joint, and then I think he did something at Best Buy when God Kid, M.A.A.D. City dropped. I’m just around for all these times. I’m just like, yo, I got to chop it up with him.

And I remember specifically at the BET awards, I was talking to Kelly and Sway, and I was just like, “Yo, I’m mad I didn’t get a chance to see Kendrick.” He was right next to me, bro, and I didn’t even know it was him.

AllHipHop: Okay.

Oswin Benjamin: And Kelly and Sway was like, it’s good that you didn’t meet him (initially), and you’ll meet them on a level where it’s a respect amongst peers and it’s not a … “I’m a huge fan.” So, the fact that I met him at Rick Rubin’s crib, it was crazy. Finally got a chance to chop it up with him, and then the interns take care of the food for the whole time I was up there. So, I ate the best that I’ve eaten in three days off for eight dollars and just faith. It was crazy. Dope experience, bro. I cried up there. I was walking around there with my socks wiling. I was bugging out, but it was a dope experience.

AllHipHop: That’s amazing, man. That’s really amazing.

Oswin Benjamin: That’s God.

EXCLUSIVE: Feds Worried R. Kelly Planning To Target Victims From Prison

(AllHipHop News) Federal prosecutors are worried R. Kelly may planning a campaign to terrorize two victims in his child p### and kidnapping case.

R. Kelly is seeking the identities of two women known as Jane Doe 2 and Jane Doe 3 in a new superseding 12-count indictment against the singer.

R. Kelly believes he will not be able to mount a defense if he does not know who the accusers are.

The government contends R. Kelly may threaten harm to the women and their families if the victims’ names are disclosed due to his “egregious history of obstructive conduct,” lead prosecutor Richard P. Donoghue argued.

“There is a significant incentive for the defendant to tamper with witnesses in order to try to avoid spending a significant period of time in prison,” Donoghue said.

The Feds believe members of R. Kelly’s “Enterprise” are still roaming the streets, ready to cater to their bosses’ orders.

“The defendant continues to have access to significant resources and Enterprise members acting on his behalf,” Donoghue revealed.

The Feds are justified over their worries about R. Kelly’s reach from behind the walls.

In June of 2019, R. Kelly’s former manager James Mason was accused of calling one of the singer’s victims and threatening to kill him and family.

And, R. Kelly’s business manager Derrel McDavid helped the crooner hide his sex crimes between 2001 and 2009, by paying out hundreds of thousands of dollars in hush money to the victims and their families.

One silver lining for R. Kelly is that prosecutors plan to release the identities of Jane Doe 2 and 3 two weeks before he is slated to go to trial.

Liife Talks Giving Back Lil Wayne His Stolen Chain

Liife is here to prove that real hip-hop is alive and well. Hailing from Compton meant coming up in the streets,  doing whatever you had to do to survive.

A product of his environment, the “Lifestyle” lyricist prides himself in producing real substance. He states, “I ain’t just the next rapper. No shot at nobody but I take pride in actually composing things that mean something, that will last forever. It’s real durable.”

Currently signed to Rostrum Records, the 30-year-old is ready to take this rap game to the next level, providing you the soundtrack for the struggle, the come up, the motivation, you name it.

AllHipHop: Who did you grow up listening to?

Liife: Me, I was really diverse when it came to music. I listened to everybody like Nas. Really, I’d go to sleep to Nas, Lil Wayne, Tupac. That was music that I really ingested. I took that in and was really inspired by what they were doing: Ice Cube, Tupac, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg. Lil Wayne was really my favorite artist at that time, I had Lil Wayne posters on the walls and everything. It’s so crazy because I went on to do a song with Lil Wayne, later on in my career.

AllHipHop: Yeah, how’d that happen?

Liife: It was just some real street stuff. On God, it was really street. Some people had got their chain took, some big artist that’s poppin’ right now had got his chain took. But me, I was the street dude. I was still rapping so everybody knew me. Because I was talented, I ain’t gon’ lie. People knew me. They called like “whoopty whoop, we trying to do this,” so I’m like “let’s see how we can make this beneficial for both sides.” I ended up meeting Wayne, I actually handed him his chain back. After that, we had a relationship. You know that Young Money chain he had, the big one? I handed him that.

AllHipHop: How did you have it?

Liife: I just knew. I can’t really incriminate myself, but I just knew s##t. He was out here for the House of Blues, he had a show. He was on his tour bus, had a studio in the back of it. We just chopped it up then the song came about, it was like “oh s##t!”

AllHipHop: Where’s that song?

Liife: It’s in the archives. It ain’t out yet. I’m going to put it out. I saved it so when I really needed it, it would be more of a momentum builder instead of just for no reason.

AllHipHop: What are the conversations with him like?

Liife: He was just like “yo you got a dope voice. You’re pretty good. If you stay at it, you have a promising future.” But I was still in the streets, so I’m like “whatever you say.”

AllHipHop: You just unleashed “Friends & Enemies.” What were you going through when you recorded it?

Liife: When I recorded that, I’m not sure if anybody would really understand when I say we’re living in an era where there’s no loyalty. It’s no real connection with nobody. Anybody can be on some s##t where it’s like “the bag is over here, I will do this to get to the bag. I will cross my whoever, I’ll cross my mama.” That’s the world we live in so some of my friends, we aren’t friends anymore for whatever reason. I came up with “when your friends turn to enemies,” then I was like “yo that’s a dope concept.” That’s the era we live in bro. How many people could you call your friends? Really. Like your real family.

AllHipHop: What are some goals yourself as an artist at this point of your career?

Liife: I want to get a Grammy and I want to get #1 album. That’s been one of my goals.

AllHipHop: What can we expect next?

Liife: New album What Yo Life Like coming summer of 2020.

Adult Website Says A$AP Rocky Has The Internet Horny Over Sex Tape

(AllHipHop News) The news of an A$AP Rocky sex tape sent thousands of horny women and men into a sexual frenzy and a boatload of traffic to adult sites.

The rap star, who is an admitted sex addict, is allegedly featured in a video having intercourse with an unknown woman.

Even though A$AP Rocky has refused to confirm or deny his appearance in the sex tape, fans are desperate to get a peek of the rapper in action between the sheets.

According to adult website xHamster, searches for ASAP Rocky’s alleged video increased by 20,0000% in just a day.

“This is a Stormy Daniels level event,” said Alex Hawkins, VP of xHamster, in reference to President Trump’s ex-lover. “Welcome to the new decade.”

Ironically, the news of Rocky’s sex tape unseated President Donald Trump being impeached as the #1 trending topic on Twitter yesterday (December 19th).

“MY PENIS AND I WOKE UP 2 THE ALARMING DISTURBANCE OF A VIDEO CLIP 2DAY,” A$AP Rocky Tweeted. “AS HIS DEFENSE ATTORNEY WE’RE PREPARED 2 DENY ANY SLOW STROKES OR LACK OF KILLIN THE P*SSY. A LONG LIST OF SATISFIED WOMEN CAN ATTEST TOO. BUT THE REAL PUNCHLINE IS SEEING PPL WHO NEVER F*CKED HIM RATE HIM “

Post Malone Caught Using The N-Word! Will Floyd Mayweather Beat Up NBA Young Boy?!

(AllHipHop Rumors) YOOOOOOO! I didn’t know that NBA Young Boy’s weird hit “DIRTY IYANNA” was about Iyanna Mayweather! What in tarnation? All I was wondering about was did Michael Jackson’s estate clear that song for that rapper dude to sing that MJ classic “Dirty Diana.” Now, there is a rumor that Floyd is going to beat up the young man, but I honestly don’t believe that. I think he’s simply going to get his kid away from him! We know violence is not the way and FM is not trying to have any issues legally.

POST MALONNNNNNNE – COME OUT AND PLAYYYYYY!

White people need to condemn this, but they won’t! Black people need to condemn this, but they won’t! Post Malone is calling Black people the n-word! Now, I know this seems like an antiquated conversation, but it is simple: DON’T USE THE N-WORD! What Posty Maloney let it hang out there! Is this nothing or am I right? I am offended!

By the way, check out this interview with Royce Da 5’9″! There ain’t no real rumors, but he does talk about Eminem and the BS with Nick Cannon. Nickle (Royce’s nickname) isn’t playing these games with people. He’s got something to say still!

SOLO LUCCI HAS A SEXTAPE!

Solo Lucci has his own sextape!! But, is it a leak? This, I don’t know for sure. Right now they are calling it a “leak.” I am not privy to release an of it, because AHH ain’t that kind of a site! However, I did see a screen shot and a dude that looks like Solo Lucci is having sex with two women! BUT, there’s a big ass major camera there doing the video. Basically, A CAMERA MAN! That ain’t no leak! That’s a p####! I think they need to do a rebrand of the term “sextape leak.”

Solo is a Houston rapper that is now a member of the cast of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” – season four. He is in a relationship with Alexis Skyy, who also has babies with Fetty Wap!

Megan Thee Stallion Explains How Beyonce Keeps Her Calm

(AllHipHop News) Megan Thee Stallion has a unique way of calming herself down if she gets worked up – she switches on an old Beyonce interview.

The 24-year-old singer has never made a secret of her love for Beyonce but revealed the unusual way the “Crazy in Love” hitmaker has a relaxing effect on her.

“Everybody knows that I super-love Beyonce,” she said. “I’m from Houston, she’s from Houston. I’ve been listening to her all my life… I watch her talk about basically going through the same struggles that I feel like I’m going through right now. If Beyonce could get through it, I could get through it.”

The “Hot Girl Summer” star also credited a bully in elementary school for really changing her outlook on life.

After recalling one particularly upsetting incident with the bully, Megan remembered how her mom inspired her to stand up for herself.

“It felt really good (to tell the bully off),” she grinned. “So then, after that, I just never gave a f##k about what anybody had to say about me.”

EXCLUSIVE: Rapper Kodak Black Gets Served In Prison Again

(AllHipHop News) Kodak Black is having a difficult time in jail, to say the least.

Last week, Kodak maintained he was the victim of a conspiracy which left him drugged and dazed.

The bizarre incident resulted in a blowout fight with an inmate and several guards, who pepper-sprayed the rapper to get him under control.

Earlier this week, Kodak Black got some more bad news when he was served with paperwork from a promoter trying to wrestle almost $100,000 out of him.

In April of 2017, a promoter from Arizona named Nick Fitts sued Kodak for more than $500,000 over a botched show and two canceled makeup dates in New York.

Kodak Black, real name Bill K. Kapri, did not respond to the lawsuit, because he was fighting a federal case over charges he lied on an application to buy several firearms, in addition to battling a rape case in South Carolina.

Fitts was eventually awarded a default judgment in October.

In November, Kodak Black was found guilty of lying on the gun application and sent to prison for three years.

Despite Kodak Black’s legal predicament, Nicholas Fitts is aggressively seeking to collect his $91,000 judgment.

On December 11th, process servers popped up at the Federal Detention Center in Miami to give Kodak Black AKA Inmate #18149-104, a subpoena to turn over more documents related to paying off the settlement.

Nicholas Fitts is also seeking information about Kodak’s earnings from Warner Music Group, as well as BMI in his quest to recover his lost money.

Kodak Black maintained correctional officers were involved in a conspiracy to bait him into fighting, so they could file lawsuits I guess the internationally known rap star.

Is Love and Hip Hop Trying To Use Plus Size Model’s To Boost Ratings?

The Love and Hip Hop franchise keeps growing and growing adding new “celebs” we’ve never heard of before.

Love and Hip Hop was initially supposed to be about the music, at least that’s what we thought. Now, they’re adding new talent to their roster and filming scenes that have nothing to do with music! Such as, on and off relationships, drama between girlfriends and side chicks, cheating, and all sorts of irrelevant topics.

Now, it looks like the Love and Hip Hop franchise is trying to really boost their ratings by their alleged casting call. According to Project Casting, Love and Hip Hop: Miami is now looking for plus size models.

You heard it right! What storyline would they center around plus size models on their show? I hope they don’t plan on body shaming these ladies all for ratings.

It looks like the franchise is trying to profit off of a very sensitive topic in the media. Lizzo has received backlash for her flaunting her body on social media and twerking on screen. Has you thinking if she were a size 2 or 3 would she still receive this type of public scrutiny? Possibly not. Women like Cardi B and Nicki Minaj show off their bodies all the time without the same backlash.

The casting reads:

Miami – Love and Hip Hop Miami

PLUS SIZE MODELS, ALL ETH, AGE NOT A FACTOR

RATE $40, half day shoot, 6-10 PM, Dec 20

Send full body pic, name and phone if not on file. Outfit, makeup and hair will be provided Wynwood area. Parking provided.

Project Casting hasn’t posted this on their Instagram. Maybe they’re trying to lowkey keep this a secret before word gets out what they are trying to do. Love and Hip Hop isn’t really doing all that great on the ratings, especially Miami. So maybe they think this will help?

Donald Glover Named Creative Consultant For Andrew Yang’s Presidential Campaign

(AllHipHop News) Businessman Andrew Yang was one of the seven candidates that took part in last night’s Democratic debate on CNN. Before taking the stage at Loyola Marymount University, Yang met with musician/actor Donald “Childish Gambino” Glover earlier in the day.

The Grammy and Emmy winner endorsed Yang and hosted a pop-up fundraising event for the Venture for America founder on Thursday afternoon. Attendees were able to purchase exclusive “Donald Glover x Andrew Yang” merchandise with proceeds going towards the 44-year-old entrepreneur’s presidential campaign.

“Had a blast with Donald Glover today! Big thanks to everyone who came out in L.A.!” tweeted Yang. In addition, Glover was formally named as a creative consultant for the Yang 2020 political team.

Andrew Yang has made headway in the Democratic race with his signature policy, a “Freedom Dividend.” He is advocating for a $1,000-per-month universal basic income for all United States citizens that are 18 or older.

The Yang Gang is not the only 2020 presidential campaign to get backing from a Hip Hop artist. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has picked up public endorsements from Killer Mike, Cardi B, T.I., Lil Yachty, and Vic Mensa.

According to the latest Real Clear Politics average of national polls, former Vice President Joe Biden (27.8%) still leads all candidates in the Democratic field. Sanders is in second place (19.3%), and Yang is currently tied for sixth place (3.3%) with Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar.
