Blac Chyna Gets More Security To Keep Ferrari Away

(AllHipHop News) Blac Chyna has reportedly taken on more personal security after fearing for her own safety following ex-lover Ferrari’s recent behavior.

Chyna is said to be worried that rapper Ferrari True, who she recently had a short relationship with, may cause trouble at her upcoming club appearance at the Medusa Restaurant & Lounge in Atlanta, Georgia, tonight (July 15).

Earlier this week, Rob Kardashian’s ex-fiance had her lawyer Lisa Bloom issue Ferrari with a warning when she feared he would copy Rob, the father of her eight-month-old daughter Dream, and post revenge p### online after their brief fling.

The rapper had already posted a covered-up picture of the pair in bed together, and she is now concerned he could go one step further and copy Rob by uploading more revealing and intimate photos.

According to reports, Chyna is scared by his recent actions and doesn’t want him anywhere near her.

The source revealed that the 29-year-old had hired an additional four bodyguards to accompany her to the party in Atlanta.

Over the past week, Ferrari has bombarded Chyna with calls and texts and she has become increasingly concerned, especially after his recent interview on TMZ.

Speaking on camera, he said he believed lawyers were controlling Chyna and he was unsure as to whether they still had a relationship or not.

Although the insider claims the couple have officially called it quits.

The owner of Medusa Restaurant & Lounge added to TMZ that the rapper will be declined entry to the club and will not be allowed on to the premises at any time during Chyna’s appearance as per her request.

Who Really Inspired Jay-Z’s 4:44? Joey Badass Has An Idea!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Joey Bada$$ thinks he deserves a bit of credit for inspiring the man of the moment, Mr. Jay-Z.

In case you don’t know, Joey’s album had some harsh language in it for AmeriKKKa. It was a brash, political album like Jay’s. Only thing, Jay’s 4:44 has relationship matters and, in my opinion, speaks truth to power in a way that Joey simply cannot.

ANYWAY.

Here is what Joey said:

“I know I was an inspiration to that album. There’s nothing nobody can tell me,” Joey Bada$$ said in an interview with Montreality. “I put certain pressure on these OGs in the rap game, like they know what they gotta talk about now, cause they got this young ni**a Joey Bada$$ comin’ out, talking about this sh*t before they got the chance to talk about it,” he said. Finally, Bada$$ saluted Hov for his efforts on his 13th solo release. “I love the album, it’s great. I’m glad he spoke about everything he spoke on and I’m glad I could be inspirational.”

WELL, Joey is wrong. I know the real inspiration and its the OGs, not the YGs. Can’t name names though. Sorry.

Chance The Rapper Drops New Track To Save Soundcloud

(AllHipHop News) Chance the Rapper is doing his part to save embattled streaming music service, SoundCloud.

Last night, Chance dropped a new track on SoundCloud titled “Big B’s” featuring Young Thug.

The new track was released on the heels of troubling news for the influential music streaming site.

Earlier this week, SoundCloud executives revealed the company was struggling and and was forced to lay off over 40% of its workforce.

When Chance heard the news, he vowed to do his part to save SoundCloud.

Thousands of musicians reacted across the Internet, in fear that they would lose their archived music and files posted to the popular streaming site, which competes with the likes of Apple, Spotify, Pandora, and Tidal.

“The music you love on SoundCloud isn’t going away, the music you shared or uploaded isn’t going away, because SoundCloud is not going away,” CEO Alexander Ljung said in a blog post on Friday.

Lupe Fiasco Reviews Jay-Z’s “4:44” As A Rhyme

Lupe has written a review of the album and has given it praise on his social media.

However, unlike others, Lupe makes his reviews in rhyme form and the results are stellar and special.

“I ain’t publicly leaned back bopped in a while especially to this style of a portrait, vulnerable but not tortured, a fortress ain’t gotta force it, real time classic, a revival of the corpus,” Lupe “spits” on Instagram.

Judge Warns Frank Ocean In Legal Battle Against His Own Dad

(AllHipHop News) Frank Ocean warned to stick to facts in legal battle against dad

Frank Ocean has been warned by a judge to stick to the facts while defending a defamation case brought by his father.

In January, the rapper’s dad Calvin Cooksey sued Ocean, 29, claiming that his son, who is openly gay, defamed him in a June 2016 essay alleging his father had verbally abused a transgender waitress.

Ocean responded to the lawsuit in May, stating that he stood by the claims made in his essay and outlined 17 “affirmative defenses” explaining why he believed Judge Stephen V. Wilson should dismiss his father’s case.

Legal documents obtained by Pitchfork Media show that although the judge upheld 16 of Ocean’s lines of defense, he warned that he found many of the hip-hop star’s “affirmative defenses seem to have been put forward without any factual basis”.

The judge went on to warn Ocean and his lawyers that they faced sanctions, “if it becomes clear the Defendant (Ocean) is persisting with arguments with no factual support in order to confuse the Plaintiff (Cooksey) or hide the truth of the matter.”

Calling the case a “fairly straightforward” one, the judge also urged both parties against pursuing “intensive litigation tactics.”

In his original essay, published on the Tumblr website, Ocean wrote, “I was six years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a f##got as he dragged me out a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn’t be served because she was dirty.”

Cooksey denies his son’s allegation and claims his son made false accusations to promote his album Blonde and “ruin his father”.

He also alleges the Pyramids singer’s claims he made bigoted statements damaged his chances of finding work in the entertainment industry.

Ocean’s father previously sued rap mogul and entrepreneur Russell Simmons in 2014 for claiming he was a deadbeat dad.

DMX Posts $500,000; Pleads Not Guilty To Tax Charges

(AllHipHop News) Troubled rapper DMX turned himself into New York authorities after he was slapped with multiple federal charges for tax fraud and posted $500,000 bail today (July 14).

The “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” hitmaker, real name Earl Simmons, stands accused of engaging in a “multi-year scheme to conceal millions of dollars of income” from America’s Internal Revenue Service, helping him avoid paying $1.7 million in tax liabilities, according to acting U.S. Attorney Joon H. Kim.

“Celebrity rapper or not, all Americans must pay their taxes, and together with our partners at the IRS, we will pursue those who deliberately and criminally evade this basic obligation of citizenship,” Kim continued in his statement.

The 46-year-old faces 44 years behind bars if convicted on all 14 counts.

He appeared before a federal judge in Manhattan on Friday and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Representatives for DMX have yet to comment on his latest legal woe, which emerges months after he completed a rehab stint in Southern California.

The embattled hip-hop star, a father of 15, has endured multiple stints behind bars in recent years, serving time for reckless driving, driving on a suspended license, theft and drug possession charges, as well as parole violation.

He also previously spent more than two months locked up in his native New York in 2015 after failing to pay child support.

A$AP Bari Issues Statement Denying Sexual Assault After Video Emerges

(AllHipHop News) A$AP Rocky affiliate A$AP Bari is at the center of a new legal drama after he was allegedly caught on camera harassing a woman into giving him oral sex.

Video footage of a man purported to be Bari, real name Jabari Shelton, walking in on the tattooed female in bed with a guy believed to be his assistant surfaced online.

In the clip, the woman tries to hide under the covers, but Bari pulls away the duvet, exposing her naked body, and can be heard saying, “You f##ked my assistant, now you’re going to suck my d##k.”

“No, no, stop it, Bari, honestly stop,” she replies as she runs past him and out of the frame, with the A$AP Mob co-founder smacking her backside as she leaves the room.

Bari, 25, reportedly addressed the leaked video on Twitter shortly after it was made public, suggesting the short film was “fake”.

According to Hypebeast.com, the message, which was subsequently deleted, read: “Cmon fake the fake edit videos (sic)”.

A woman has since come forward on social media claiming she was the target of Bari’s alleged bad behavior.

“I was forced into bed by Bari and his crew and Bari got upset because I refused to engage in any sexual acts,” she tweeted from the @chasinfoodstmps account.

She went on to allege the designer of the VLONE clothing brand had been “apprehended today by UK police forces and is still being held,” although the news has yet to be confirmed.

Representatives for Bari and the A$AP Mob hip-hop collective said the issue has been resolved.

We have resolved this issue amicably among all parties as adults,” Bari said in a statement to Billboard.

“A misleading video clip featuring adult content and activity has been released to the public without my knowledge or consent,” Bari says in the statement. “Comments about myself or anyone being detained or arrested are false. We have resolved this issue amicably among all parties as adults. We were friends before this and will remain friends afterwards. Being raised by strong women who taught me to respect everyone, I’m disappointed in the situation as well as myself and will reflect on the situation appropriately.”

Aggressive Man Arrested For Breaking Into Drake’s House

(AllHipHop News) A man has been arrested for trespassing onto rapper Drake’s California property.

The unnamed intruder became aggressive when he was asked to leave by a security guard, who was patrolling the grounds in Hidden Hills on Thursday night.

The guard called the police.

The intruder told officials he had hiked to Drake’s house after looking up the address on a blog, and was hoping to meet the rap star.

Drake was not home at the time. He was back home in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday, welcoming fighters Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. to the city ahead of a heated press conference to launch their upcoming Las Vegas boxing match.

Another intruder broke into the house, which is undergoing extensive renovations, in April and confessed to grabbing soda and water from a refrigerator when cornered by security guards.

Cardi B Goes Off On Haters & Nicki Minaj Stans!

Beyonce Tops Money Makers 2016 List

(AllHipHop News) New mom Beyonce has been given another reason to smile after welcoming twins last month – she has topped Billboard’s new Top 50 Money Makers of 2016 list.

The R&B superstar slayed the competition by hauling in $62.1 million during the time frame of the new countdown – $20 million more than the members of Guns N’ Roses, who come in at two with $42 million.

Beyonce made the bulk of her annual wealth from her “Formation World Tour,” in support of her hit Lemonade album.

Bruce Springsteen takes third place after failing to feature on last year’s list, while rapper Drake is up 28 spots to number four, and Adele rounds out the new top five.

The Hello singer netted the fourth-highest grossing tour of last year and sold more albums in America than anyone but Prince to rise four spots.

The rest of the top 10 features Coldplay at six, Justin Bieber at seven, Luke Bryan, Kanye West, and Kenny Chesney, who falls eight places from last year’s number two to 10.

Ralo Responds To Rumors Of Him Allegedly Shooting Former Gucci Mane Associate

Now Ralo has taken time out to refute the rumors that he allegedly shot one of Gucci Mane’s former associates, Mojo.

“I would say this n-gga ah rat, but in this case he ah mf lier. N-gga I don’t steal no mf cars, an if my I’d was in the car ion no how da f-ck it got there. I lose my I’d all the time…#IMINNOCENT,” said Ralo.

Last month several rappers took to Instagram wishing Mojo a speedy recovery after he was shot in Atlanta. Some believed Mojo may have had it coming as the rapper started leaking old jail phone calls between him and Gucci as he continuously threatened to “expose” Guwop!

Fast forward to now, and Gucci’s artist Ralo has been allegedly named as a suspect in the shooting.

YFN Lucci Talks Not Being Included On The 2017 XXL Freshman List (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) YFN Lucci has one of the hottest records of the year with “Everyday We Lit” featuring PnB Rock.

The track is already a Top 40 hit on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.

With his success, some rap followers expected to see the Atlanta native’s name on the list of XXL Freshman for 2017.

In June, the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Satten explained to The Breakfast Club why YFN Lucci was omitted from this year’s Freshman Class.

“YFN Lucci didn’t want to play any music for us. He refused,” said Satten. “Then the day before the shoot or a couple of days before the shoot, they called us and said he wanted to play music. At that point, it was too late for us. We had tried every which way. They weren’t playing music for us.”

Lucci did his own interview with another New York City radio show this week.

In a sitdown with Ebro In The Morning, the TIG Entertainment representative shared his thoughts on not being chosen by XXL.

“I didn’t feel no type of way, because I didn’t really feel like I was a freshman,” Lucci stated. “I got two mixtapes and an EP out. I dropped my first mixtape [on] December 16, 2014. It’s 2017. I don’t feel like I’m a freshman.”

He continued, “It’s a cool platform, but Drake didn’t take it and nobody got mad. So why they gonna get mad at me?”

The 2017 Freshman list included PnB Rock, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Aminé, Kamaiyah, Kap G, Kyle, Madeintyo, Playboi Carti, Ugly God, and XXXTentacion.

Did Azealia Banks Just Stir Up Some Drama Between Nicki Minaj & Safaree?

(AllHipHop Rumors) It looks like comments made by Azealia Banks [in an interview] have stirred up some more drama between Nicki Minaj and her ex, Safaree.

Banks is no stranger to controversy, and Nicki is no stranger to shading folks via her Twitter likes.

One of Nicki Minaj’s fan pages posted a comment about Azealia confirming that she had to write for Safaree during a collaboration.

“Azealia confirms that while she wanted Safaree to write for her, it turns out she had to write for him because he didn’t have the ability,” posted the page.

The page quoted Banks saying,

“I have a song that I did with Safaree Samuels. Actually, it kind of came out of nowhere. I guess people are like, “Oh, that’s rivalry,” because it’s Safaree, but honestly it’s just industry sh-t. I assumed that he played a part in [some of] Nicki Minaj’s hot singles, so I was like, “Sh-t we should definitely go to the studio together.” But it actually turned out [to be] me writing for him. So Safaree and I put this song together and I wrote a bunch of his part and it’s really f-cking hot.”

Of course Nicki Minaj couldn’t resist the petty itch as she decided to like the post! We all know she liked it because it seems to refute Safaree’s claims that he wrote the vast majority of Nicki’s lyrics.

Safaree has since responded saying,

“After all this time mentally you still do a lot of things that show you’re still bothered by me. its about to be 4yrs let it go. I’m over it.”

Nicki responded to Safaree’s subliminal message with one of her own!

“He can throw dirt on a woman who took care of him but won’t respond to u like a man huh? N-ggaz only know how to say my name for a lil extra airtime but never respond to grown MEN,” said Nicki.

Another L: Comedian Jess Hilarious Roasts Meek Mill!
