Rick Ross, Young Thug & Wale Perform “Trap Trap Trap” On ‘The Tonight Show’ (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) One of the standout songs on Rick Ross’ well-received album Rather You Than Me is the cut “Trap Trap Trap.”

Rozay was joined by Young Thug and Wale to perform the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The late night set comes just as both Thug and Wale are expected to release their own new respective projects E.B.B.T.G. and Shine this week.

Rather You Than Me arrived on March 17.

Ross’ ninth studio LP debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart with 106,000 album-equivalent units.

The official music video for “Trap Trap Trap” has collected over 7 million YouTube views since its release.

Wale Has Bars For Tomi Lahren On “Shine Season” Song; Tomi Responds (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Wale still has more things to say about Tomi Lahren.

The DMV rapper and the conservative talking head clashed on Twitter earlier this year after Wale mentioned Lahren on his song “Smile.”

Then earlier this month, Tomi referenced the cut in a response to her legal fight with her former employer The Blaze by tweeting, “I’m gonna take the advice of [Wale] and just smile.”

Wale fired back by responding with a “Same phone who dis” tweet which has been retweeted over 60,000 times and liked more than 128,000 times.

The next phase of the Wale-Tomi saga played out at the MMG representative’s Shine album listening session with Genius this week.

A song titled “Shine Season” was played which features Wale rapping, “Tomi I Lahren, I aint ready for you. All the Beckys want an Uncle Tom Sawyer. Race draft first pick. John Lennon for Don Lemon.”

Lahren got wind of the bars and tweeted, “Again? Damn must be in love.”

Wale’s Shine is expected to be released on April 28.

The project features appearances by Lil Wayne, G-Eazy, Travis Scott, Chris Brown, and more.

Peep Which Hot Boy Just Released A Kim Kardashian Diss!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Turk is fed up with all of the women with the fake a-sses!

He seems to be fed up the most with Kanye West’s wife, Kim Kardashian. I always thought the fake azz crave and trend was stupid.

It’s crazy that women are even risking their lives to get illegal/ black market procedures done to their booties!

I guess the final straw for Turk came when a photo of Kim Kardashian on vacation in Mexico surfaced. Looking at the photo, it’s unclear if the photo is not photoshopped or if it was photoshopped to make her look bad.

Turk has now released a diss, called “Big Bird” to Kim K and all women with alleged fake backsides. Turk wants you ladies to know that he believes that you look like an ostrich and Big Bird!

“A-ss used to be flat, now that a-ss too fat, need to get your money back, ’cause your legs don’t match,” Turk raps.

Unfortunately this song is wack and will fail to get any traction. We hear you though Turk; we hear you!

Xzibit Mourns The Loss Of His Dad

(AllHipHop News) Rapper/actor Xzibit is mourning the loss of his father.

The “Empire” star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the sad news in an emotional post.

“I am in tears and my heart is heavy. I don’t have the words right now,” Xzibit wrote. “Dad you are my hero. Thank you for everything you taught me, how you raised me, how you challenged me, how you loved your family. This is tough. I love you Dad.”

Xzibit, real name Alvin Joiner, did not reveal his father’s cause of death, but last month he posted pictures of his dad in a hospital bed.

“Wrapped last night at 4am from @empirefox, hopped on the first thing smoking, to get to my father,” he wrote on Instagram. “The doctor came in and said he’s stable, but hasn’t had anything to eat in 10 days. Hopefully I can get his spirits up and get him to eat something. I’m just glad I made it here.”

Young Thug Announces Singing Album ‘Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls’

(AllHipHop News) It looks like Young Thug is ready to follow in the footsteps of Andre 3000 (The Love Below) and Kanye West (808s & Heartbreak) by releasing a full album of him singing.

Thugger announced a new body of work is coming this week.

Going by his tweet, the album could be called Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls.

According to Thug, Drake is executive producing the project.

The Atlanta rhymer has released several “commercial mixtapes” including 2016’s Jeffery.

Thug recently dropped the single “All The Time,” and he appeared on “Gang Up” with 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa and PnB Rock.

That posse cut appears on The Fate of the Furious: The Album.

 

R. Kelly Is Out Here Breaking Up Happy Homes & Getting Sued For It!

Rumor has it that R. Kelly is being sued by a woman’s husband for ruining their “happy” home. It looks like she wanted to “Step In The Name Of Love”.

That’s right, R. Kelly is still “Mr. Steal Your Wife”. If it’s not one thing with R. Kelly it’s another.

So check this out. First off, R. Kelly has some interesting taste in women. A couple of the women he has dated have been flat out unattractive, and so is this woman.

This is all so hilarious. It reads like another chapter in Kellz ‘Trapped In The Closet’.

According to New York Daily News, apparently a Hinds County man has claimed alienation of affection in a lawsuit filed against R&B singer R. Kelly, who he accuses of having an affair with his wife.

Kenny Bryant, who works as a deputy with the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department, filed the lawsuit against Kelly on April 21 in circuit court.

In the lawsuit, Bryant claims that his wife, Asia Childress, had a romantic relationship with Kelly prior to their July 15, 2012 wedding but told him that it had ended. Bryant said the relationship with Kelly rekindled when his wife attended a Kelly concert in October 2012.

Bryant even says his wife convinced him to move to Atlanta to further her career, but she was really just moving be closer to R. Kelly. Apparently Childress was the one who filed for divorce, so that she could allegedly be with R. Kelly more. LOLOL.

Apparently the woman’s husband is trying to get all of his coins out the situation since Mississippi is reportedly one of the states you can sue for adultery. He just may win!

After all of the scandals Kellz has had, no one puts anything past him. Unfortunately people didn’t waste time with the jokes, as they said the woman looks a bit old for R. Kelly.

I still want to know does he really have a harem of women. Carry on!

LAPD Commissioner Praises His “Friend” Kendrick Lamar After Photo Goes Viral

(AllHipHop News) A picture of Hip Hop superstar Kendrick Lamar and civilian LAPD commissioner Steve Soboroff at a Clippers game went viral this week.

“[This guy] helped me navigate the [Staples Center] website to buy tix for [Kendrick Lamar] concert in August,” tweeted Soboroff along with the photo.

Some social media users were confused by what seemed to be such a random pic.

But Soboroff told TMZ that he and K. Dot are actually pretty close.

“I consider him a friend, and I think he considers me a friend,” said the former Chairman/CEO of Playa Vista, California.

Even though Kendrick addresses issues such as police brutality in his music, Soboroff praised the TDE emcee as an artist.

“He expresses through his art form his feelings, and I respect that,” stated Soboroff. “And I think he respects – or I hope he would respect – how seriously we take community policing and understanding people’s views.”

In addition, Soboroff spoke about the importance of police departments and communities coming together to improve the relationship between the two groups.

Katt Williams Gets His Punishment In Suge Knight-Related Assault Case

(AllHipHop News) Troubled comedian Katt Williams has one less legal problem to worry about as his assault with a deadly weapon case has been dismissed.

The 45-year-old allegedly pulled out a firearm during an altercation with an unnamed man after his set at the The Comedy Store in West Hollywood in 2014, but the felony case was thrown out by a judge yesterday (April 25).

The dismissal is tied to the plea deal Williams accepted last week (April 23) for an unrelated robbery case.

Williams and jailed rapper Suge Knight were charged with felony robbery in 2014 for allegedly attempting to grab photographer Leslie Redden’s camera during an incident outside a recording studio in Beverly Hills.

Both had pleaded not guilty to the allegations.

However, Williams recently cut a no-jail plea deal and pleaded no contest to one felony count of second-degree robbery, and was given three years of formal probation and ordered to attend 54 weeks of anger management classes.

Kendrick Lamar and Solange Scoop Top Prizes At Webby Awards

(AllHipHop News) Solange Knowles has been honored with the Artist of the Year prize at the 2017 Webby Awards.

Officials at the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences announced they had chosen the Cranes in the Sky singer as the winner in a statement on Tuesday (April 25).

“The Webby Awards is thrilled to recognize Solange as Artist of the Year in celebration of her remarkable use of the Internet as a force for promoting community and diversity,” they said.

“Not only is Solange one of the greatest artists of our time, but she’s also a true artist of the online generation.”

Lady Gaga was also recognized, winning two prizes for her collaboration with technology giant Intel on her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar won the Best Video Remixes/Mashups prize for his track “Swimming Pools (Drank),” while British band Coldplay’s promo for their track “Up&Up” won Best Music Video.

Steve Buscemi was named Best Actor, while “The X-Files” star Gillian Anderson landed the Best Actress prize.

Among the TV shows and films to be honored were “Deadpool,” “Mr. Robot,” “Game of Thrones,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“Girls” creator Lena Dunham won the Best Lifestyle Podcast prize for her “Women of the Hour” miniseries.

The winners will be honored on May 15 at a ceremony in New York City, which will be hosted by comedian Joel McHale.

Kodak Black Found Guilty On Several “Probation” Accounts

(AllHipHop News) Kodak Black has been found guilty on all five counts of violating the terms of house arrest. A judge made a ruling around 6 p.m. Wednesday EST.

The state of Florida wants to put Kodak Black away in prison for 8 years, an offer the rapper declined. He will be sentenced for probation violation and house arrest-related infractions on May 4.

Black, nee Dieuson Octave, appeared in Fort Lauderdale courtroom, the third day of his hearing.

Black was caught going to a Miami-Dade strip club, Ohio for a boxing match and numerous other places with out the consent or permission of his probation officer.

 

Will Smith May Play A Ruthless Assassin In His Next Movie!

(AllHipHop News) According to multiple reports, actor/rapper Will Smith is in negotiations to star in Gemini Man.

The movie is expected to be directed by Oscar winner Ang Lee ( Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Brokeback Mountain).

Jerry Bruckheimer – the producer behind the Smith-led blockbusters Bad Boys and Enemy of the State – is attached as well.

Gemini Man centers around an assassin who must face off against a younger, stronger clone of himself.

Neither Smith nor Lee’s involvement in the Skydance-produced film is finalized at the moment.

Meanwhile, Will Smith can be seen in Netflix’s forthcoming cop drama Bright which is scheduled to hit the streaming site in December.

Snoop Dogg To Perform ‘Doggystyle’ Front-To-Back At Hard Summer Music Festival 2017

Snoop Dogg will be hitting the stage to perform his 1993 album Doggystyle in full.

Kevin Gates Heading To Jail For A Long Time Over Gun Charge

(AllHipHop News) Kevin Gates will remain locked behind bars for the next few years.

The Baton Rouge, the Louisiana-bred rapper was just hit with a 30-month sentence, for a gun case he caught in Cook County, Illinois.

The rapper had just served five months of a 180-day sentence in Polk County, Florida after being convicted of kicking a female fan during a performance in 2015.

As Gates was being released from jail after completing his time on the Florida charge, he learned of the issues in Cook County and was locked back up.

Kevin Gates will begin serving his sentence immediately.

Beyonce and Drake Led Global Album and Digital Sales In 2016

(AllHipHop News) Pregnant Beyonce has been given another reason to smile – her album Lemonade was the world’s biggest seller in 2016.

The acclaimed release picked up 2.5 million sales globally, 100,000 more than second placed Adele’s 25, according to newly-released figures from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).

The experts’ ninth annual Global Music Report also reveals Drake, whose album Views was the third international bestseller, was the top-selling artist worldwide last year.

His hit “One Dance” also topped the 2016 digital songs list with 12.5 million sales – 800,000 more than second placed Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself.”

Last year’s top 10 global albums, according to IFPI are:

A Florida Rapper Goes At J. Cole’s Head For The Dumbest Reason!

The Miami-Dade County native raps “N-gga F-ck J. Cole” repeatedly over a trap beat!

To most, Lil Pump seems like quite the usual rap attention wh*re looking for some press and a come up off of a bigger artist’s name.
