Chris Brown Don’t Play When It Comes To His Money Or His Car!

By: Rico Panacea (@RicoPanacea)

(AllHipHop Rumors) Chris Brown has been a heat magnet for news recently. If he isn’t making news for his music it’s for potentially being in a physical altercation. It’s safe to say he’s definitely the resident bad boy of R&B.

Literally he gives Trey Songz and R. Kelly a weekly run for their money. Today he’s making headlines once again after being caught by the TMZ cameras. This time it was outside of TAO in Los Angeles as Breezy attempted to pick up his car.

Cameras caught Brown in a heated exchange with a TAO valet attendant. Chris Brown can be heard telling the man that he was going to put hands on him.

While it’s not known what caused the incident, it is known that Brown was not having it. The argument is said to be over a service charge for the vehicle.

Chris Brown is gearing up to hit the road again for his latest tour. Let’s hope that Breezy can stay out of trouble as he entertains the audiences.

Mary J. Blige and Kendu Divorced But Still Sued For Millions Over Properties

(AllHipHop News) Mary J. Blige and Kendu Isaacs may have officially divorced, but the couple still has legal issues hanging over their heads.

Mary and Kendu have been hit with a $9 million dollar lawsuit over two homes the purchased when they were married.

Apex claims the couple bought a mansion for $8 million, while Mary is being sued individually, for an investment property she bought for $2 million back in 2005.

During the divorce proceedings, Mary had offered to personally cover their entire $11 million debt, if Kendu would back down from a request of $65,000 a month in spousal support.

Apex is seeking over $9.1 million from the couple, who officially divorced in March after 12 years of marriage.

Fabolous Returns To Instagram! Will The Emily B Pictures Come Out?

(AllHipHop Rumors) I don’t know why this is a thing, but this is a thing. Fabolous has come back to IG after being accused of beating the breaks off his ex. And he does it in the smartest way possible – TURNS OFF THE COMMENTS. They were killing Fab in the comments! For now, Fab stands accused, but has not been convicted. Emily B says he knocked out her teeth! People universally were like, “Not Fab!” But, for now “YES FAB!” Anyway, he is accused of assault and terroristic threats…upwards of 10 years in the worst case scenario.

In order to mark his return, Fab posted pictures of him and his KIDS.

https://instagram.com/p/BhNfQ-LjNjs/

https://www.instagram.com/p/BhNnR04DqKH/

https://www.instagram.com/p/BhPYHZ1jZ9Y/

WILL THE PICTURES EMERGE?

Now, if Fab knocked her teeth out, there are pictures. There is no way they are going to wait until trial to release the pictures. Why? They want to taint the jury pool! They want as many people as they can to see those pictures. All people want to know is IF and WHEN will the pictures come out?

First, Juelz gets out of jail and then Fab comes back to the Gram.

Jay-Z And Beyonce Found “Emotional Tools” To Keep Family Together

(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z has praised his wife Beyonce for her “understanding” in the wake of his infidelities.

The 48-year old rapper has spoken candidly in the past about his infidelity in his relationship with his superstar wife Beyonce.

And in an interview with Letterman for his new Netflix show, “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,” he returned to the subject.

Letterman, who is married to Regina Lasko, opened up about his own marital issues during the chat.

The U.S. talk show veteran was famously forced to go public with his infidelities in 2009 when he was blackmailed by a man who had knowledge of his extramarital affairs.

“At the time the pain that I caused myself was the fear that I had blown up my family… And I’m wondering if this rings a bell with you,” he asked the rapper.

“Yeah, of course. For a lot of us, we don’t have, especially where I grew up and men in general, we don’t have emotional cues from when we’re young,” he responded. “Our emotional cues are ‘Be a man, stand up, don’t cry!’,” adding his 2002 single “Song Cry” was an attempt to address his fears.

“I want to have the emotional tools that it takes to keep my family together,” Jay told Letterman. “And much like you, I have a beautiful wife who’s understanding and knew I’m not the worst of what I’ve done. We did the hard work of going to therapy and you know, we love each other, right? So we really put in the work,” he added of the couple’s commitment to staying together.

“Like you, I like to believe we’re in a better place today,” he continued. “But we’re still working and communicating and growing. And I’m proud of the father and the husband that I am today because of all the work that was done.”

Rumors about Jay’s cheating reached fever pitch when Beyonce, 36, released her visual album Lemonade in 2016, and the father of three addressed the speculation on 2017 album 4:44.

The full interview will debut on Netflix today.

Lil Xan – “Total Xanarchy”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_BzXBag9Q4&list=PLhXXsRdkXX7WOOUNNN71DcfY6FYmjhUiF

Ten months ago when he dropped “Slingshot,” Diego Leanos (also known as Lil Xan) would have never dreamed this up. To be on a major record label, tour the country and have a debut album is all a dream he never expected to happen so fast. After the success of his smash hit “Betrayed,” his career has completely skyrocketed and he’s had the privilege of working with and meeting some of today’s hottest artists.

After touring the U.S. on his sold-out Total Xanarchy Tour alongside $teven Cannon, Xan is now focused on pushing his new album to the world.

Total Xanarchy is a 16-track opus that showcases Diego’s signature playful flow with Bobby Johnson on the beat, as well as more out-of-the-box records produced by the Ear Drummas DJ Fu. The duo of Rae Sremmurd show up on catchy “Shine Hard,” Ronny J provides thumping production on “Tick Tock” with 2 Chainz and YG calls out outsiders on “Round Here.” Diplo, Charli XCX also show up on more commercial-sounding tracks that could potentially be festival favorites.

It has been quite the journey for Xan and it has all culminated to this point in his life in Total Xanarchy, with plenty more on the way. He will follow-up this project with a mixtape this summer titled Heartbreak Soldier, so stay tuned for that.

Juelz Santana Is “Home” After Jail Over Gun Charge, Cam’ron Says

(AllHipHop News) These days, “fake news” is all the rage, but Cam’ron seems to have delivered some official reporting.

Juelz Santana, the youngest member of Dipset, is a free man for the time being. “F### they talking bout!!!! @thejuelzsantana home!!!!!,” Cam’ron stated with apparent jubilation.

Juelz was locked up for a month after authorities allegedly caught him with a gun at Newark Airport on March 9. The rapper then ran from the airport and reportedly departed in a cab before he could be caught.

Juelz, real LaRon James, was released into the custody of his mother and a $500,000 bond was secured by his mother’s home. Judge Michael A. Hammer also ordered the rapper to wear an ankle monitor. He will be under 24-hour lockdown, according to northjersey.com.

Reports say that Juelz has not formally been released, but clearly it is a matter of time.

Naomi Campbell Watches As Skepta Named Chief In Nigeria

(AllHipHop News) Skepta has been given the title of chief in a ceremony held in his parents’ home state of Ogun in Nigeria.

The honor was bestowed on the rapper after he performed a Homecoming concert in Lagos, Nigeria, to which he invited pals J Hus, Not3s, Wizkid and Davido to perform alongside himself and Boy Better Know.

Skepta, real name Joseph Adenuga Jr., was given the chieftaincy title, Amuludun of Odo Aje, which translated means the Chief Entertainer of Odo Aje.

“Thank you to the Baale, Chiefs of Odo Aje and King for presenting me with my Chieftaincy title today. I am honored and will continue to put time and love into Nigeria, especially the community of Odo Aje,” the north London born musician wrote next to a video posted on Instagram of him leaving the ceremony with his parents.

“Big Love, Joseph Olaitan Adenuga Jnr – Chief Amuludun Of Odo Aje,” he concluded, describing the experience as “unforgettable”.

Skepta’s title was conferred in recognition of his positive contribution to community wellbeing, through entertainment, in the country of his parent’s birth, where he has spent a lot of time in recent years performing at festivals and putting on his own shows.

The 35-year-old Mercury Prize winner is in the country with supermodel girlfriend Naomi Campbell, who kept her Instagram followers updated with all aspects of the ceremony on her Stories.

She later shouted him out with a post on Instagram, in which the rapper is dressed in his ceremonial robes.

“Congratulations Chief Joseph Olaitan Adenuga!” she praised.

The group just dropped an unreleased remix titled “Hold Tight” featuring Q-Tip, which was produced by Jay Dee, a.k.a J Dilla.

T3 says“the experience of listening to these songs, made all the hard work worth it.”

After much thought, Slum decided to release the material, so fans can hear what has been enjoyed for years (privately) in-house.

The track is from Slum Village’s new album “The Lost Scrolls” Vol. 2 (Remix), which is available for purchase now.

Cardi B. Won’t Be Addressing Baby Rumors

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Cardi B is refusing to address rumors she’s pregnant insisting fans can’t expect her to be open about everything.

The hitmaker has been dogged by reports she’s expecting fiance Offset’s kid for weeks, but she has yet to confirm or deny the story.

And during a chat with Beats 1’s Ebro Darden on Apple Music, she scolded those who believe she should open up more about the baby drama.

“I feel like people just got to tune in a little bit on my album and they will know a little bit more because I can’t address all the rumors and everything,” she said.

“I have been so open to people about myself. People cannot expect me to be open about everything. Certain things to me, it has to be private. You cannot invade my privacy.

“I’m not a damn animal at the zoo that you just could see everything, no. People will just find out more. If it (baby) arrives, if it don’t arrive, then you gonna know what the f##k is going on!”

In February, Cardi B denied pregnancy rumors on social media after a fan asked her if was holding back on a secret.

“No b##ch I’m just getting fat,” she clapped back. “Let me fat in peace.”

Cardi B Goes Gold Minutes After Dropping Debut Album

(AllHipHop News) Cardi B’s new album, Invasion of Privacy, has already struck gold a mere minutes after being released. How?

The rapper’s#### single “Bodak Yellow” is the main culprit for the success, as it was a a huge hit for the Bronx native. “Bodak Yellow,” which is included on the album, sold over 5 million RIAA-certified units last year. Re-calibration classifies 10-tracks as one album sale. This technically means Cardi has pushed gold from “Bodak Yellow” alone.

“Bartier Cardi,” which features 21 Savage, recently went platinum and other songs have been released to push the album up, even though it was released just a week ago. The Migos, Chance The Rapper, SZA, YG, Kehlani, Bad Bunny and others are on the opus.

Jazzy Five Rapper Chuck Freeze Dead At 54

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qcky1oLPF5M

(AllHipHop News) Chuck Freeze, a member of the pioneering rap group Jazzy Five, has passed away at the age of 54.

The musician, who rose to fame with his bandmates Master Ice, A.J. Les, Master Bee and Master Dee in the early 1980s, was found “unconscious and unresponsive” at his New York City home last weekend according to the New York Daily News.

Freeze, real name Charles Foushee, was later pronounced dead by emergency responders, and officials at the New York City Medical Examiner’s office told the newspaper his death was caused by heart disease and high blood pressure.

His group’s most famous track, 1981’s “Jazzy Sensation (Bronx Version)” was recorded with fellow New York rapper Afrika Bambaataa and was sampled by the Beastie Boys on their 1989 hit “Hey Ladies.”

Freeze’s friend, DJ Kevie Kev Rockwell of the Fantastic Five, performed with him at the Essentials 608 nightclub in the Bronx on Saturday night – and told the Daily News his pal showed no signs of distress after the gig.

Paying tribute to his friend Rockwell said the late rapper’s kindness and generosity meant he never cashed in on his early success.

“Chuck is a people’s person,” he explained. “In hip hop, for some reason, everybody was always battling, trying to cut each other’s throat instead of sticking together. That’s why the pioneers don’t have the money that new hip hop artists have. But Chuck was different. He was like, ‘Everybody can eat. If we share this light, everybody can eat.’ He was always optimistic. Very loving and very caring. Very appreciative of life.”

LL Cool J also offered up his own tribute to Freeze following his death, writing on Twitter, “Rest in power. Your verse on jazzy sensation was one of my favorites” next to a tweet from fellow rapper T.O.N.E-z mourning the Jazzy Five star.

Priority Records Matt B Drops “Hennessy Complexion” (P###. by Bryan-Michael Cox)

Continuing to build his buzz in the Windy City, Priority Records R&B singer Matt B releases his single “Hennessy Complexion.” The single is produced by 9x GRAMMY-award winning producer Bryan-Michael Cox who is known for his work with Usher, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, and Toni Braxton among others.

“I like my girls like I like my drink, with that Hennesy Complexion,” Matt B joked. “B. Cox was cool and was willing to take a chance on me. He started running down some records for me and from there we got a hold of the Hennessy record. It’s really a concept that Black women are beautiful the way they are, especially the dark skinned women. I just kind of wanted to let them know they are appreciated and that we think they are beautiful.”

The fiery single is a sensual track with lots of bass, that’s ready for the clubs and is a shout out to all the brown and darker colored complexioned women across the world. Finding a balance between a club banger and a song that tackles cultural issues, Matt B found this song as a great way to express himself through writing with famed producer Bryan-Michael Cox.

Previously Matt B found viral success with his track “Hollywood” featuring Chi-Town rapper Lil Bibby. The track was widely successful and received posts on a host of sites online, but he has also worked with Casey Veggies and a host of up and coming singers and songwriters.

“I’ve been writing my own music for a while, but working with other artists it really forces me to push my pen and get better at my craft. I think that’s the struggle for a lot of up and coming recording artists – nobody really wants to write for you. But it was good, it forced me to get better at it, and now here I am,” Matt B said.

Prior to his success and signing a deal stateside with Priority Records, Matt B was signed to a record label in Japan where he charted several times across the Pacific. Despite his success in Japan, Matt B decided to return home to build his buzz in Chicago and in the USA.

“The good thing about Japan and transitioning over is that it showed Priority that I can sell records and while they didn’t always know how those numbers would translate, it was a good conversation starter,” Matt B explained.

“With overseas distribution I ended up reaching #1 twice on the iTunes R&B charts in Japan and I moved over 50, 000 units with each of my releases. From there I tried to branch back to the R&B market in the U.S. and that’s when I linked up with Mark Byrd, Bryan-Michael Cox and things started to moving with the help of my manager Angela and label consultant Pete.”

Azealia Banks Debates Ebro Darden On Beefs Between Female Rappers

(AllHipHop News) One of the most watched Ebro In The Morning interviews on YouTube is the 2014 conversation with Azealia Banks. Ebro and Azealia connected again, this time for Apple Music’s Beats 1.

The chat was set up to premiere AB’s new song “Anna Wintour.” However, they quickly got into an exchange about the bickering between female rappers, such as Banks repeated online jabs at Cardi B.

“You really want to be part of the catfight, Ebro,” offered Azealia. He shot back, “No, I just want to know why females can’t work together. Banks responded, “You n-ggas in Hip Hop love that sh-t.” Ebro then said, “Nobody forced you to tweet at Cardi B.”

“Just enjoy the f-cking fight and stop trying to get in between us,” said the Harlem-raised entertainer. Azealia also called Ebro an instigator and suggested he let the women handle the conflicts themselves. The Hot 97 personality then accused Banks of trying to use the tactic of emasculating him.

When Ebro questioned Azealia not wanting him to know the origins of her issues with Cardi, the 26-year-old replied it shouldn’t be important to him. She countered, “Like I said the first time, play music.”

Additionally, Banks said she would like to talk to Angie Martinez about her disputes with other female celebrities. Martinez used to be a long-running host on Hot 97 before moving to rival station Power 105.1.

“You’re just going to inflame the situation, Ebro. I know you and you don’t understand the nuances of female interaction,” said AB. “You really don’t care, you just want the clip. I’d rather give the clip to Angie Martinez.”

Azealia Banks is planning to drop her Fantasea II: The Second Wave album this summer. Busta Rhymes may appear on the project.
