(AllHipHop Rumors) The NFL’s Carolina Panthers organization went up for sale after being investigated by the NFL for workplace misconduct. The allegations would lead to the owner having to remove himself completely from the conversation.Since then many people have announced their interest in purchasing the franchise. One of those people was music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Diddy would go on to announce his intentions to put together and investment group to secure the deal. Members of the group weren’t know at the time, but now more information is coming out about the group.

According to the latest info on the matter, the group consists of Sean Combs, Stephen Curry, Michael Rubin and others unnamed. Stephen Curry is an All-Star guard currently playing for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.

Much is known about the former NBA MVP and his love for the Carolina Panthers team. However, even with his achievements, many people may not know who Michael Rubin is. Michael Rubin is an e-commerce billionaire who owns stakes in multiple sports organizations.

Rubin owns stakes in the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers, NHL’s New Jersey Devils and the Premier League’s Crystal Palace.With that being said, this elite group is more than capable of purchasing the organization.

Only time will show if their portfolio is enough for them to land their bid for the organization.*

(AllHipHop News) Basketball legend Clyde Drexler has stepped in to replace Ice Cube as the commissioner of the rapper’s BIG3 league.

The rap star and actor briefly filled the spot after firing Roger Mason, Jr. earlier this year, but now he has landed a big deal after inviting 10-time NBA All-Star Drexler to join the team.

The retired sportsman, who was a coach of one of the teams in the league last year has signed a three-year deal to be the new commissioner.

“As Commissioner he will help lead the BIG3’s basketball operations as well as executing the league’s long-term strategy on all fronts,” a spokesman for the league said in a statement.

Ice Cube adds, “Clyde is a consummate professional, revered businessman, and indisputably one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball. We were thrilled to have his early support as a coach for our inaugural season, and couldn’t be more pleased to welcome him to the executive team as BIG3 Commissioner.”

(AllHipHop News) The ongoing war between Nelly and a woman who claims he raped her on her tour bus continues to rage in court.

A woman named Monique Greene has maintained Nelly raped her on a tour bus in Washington in October of 2017.

Earlier this week Greene filed a motion in court, seeking to have Nelly’s defamation case against her thrown out of court.

According to court documents, Greene claims any statement she made about Nelly are true, factual and protected by Free Speech.

Nelly was never charged with a crime after Monique Greene refused to press charges or testify against the rap star.

Nelly struck back with a defamation lawsuit against Monique Greene, whom he said had defamed him with her allegations and cost him valuable business.

Monique Greene filed a counter-suit, which also included explosive allegations from two other women in the U.K., including one who claimed the rapper “thrust his e#### penis” into her mouth during a non-consensual encounter.

Monique Greene is asking a court to dismiss Nelly’s countersuit, but authorities in the U.K. are still investigating the rapper.

So, what do you think? By comparison, Robert Downey, Jr. is set to make $200 million off the looming Avenger’s Infinity War movie. Clearly, he has a vested spot in the Marvel Universe. I was unable to find what he immediately made on the first Iron Man in 2008, but I know that he took a loss on the front end to get points on the back end. It paid off. I am not sure if that was an option for these actors, but I hope it was. And then there is Ryan Coogler. His salary is not listed, but I am almost certain he has a stake in his $200 million budget masterpiece.

“Jump Around,” one of the biggest songs in hip-hop history is 25 and in its 25th year DJ Muggs and Everlast from House of Pain are releasing a remix of the song featuring Damian Marley and special guest Meyhem Lauren.

“Jump Around” is embedded in the DNA of pop culture and is still a global phenomenon heard everywhere from parties to sporting events to this day. The song was released in May of 1992, peaked at #3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and spent 30 weeks on the chart.

LA producer/DJ RL Grime shares his new track “I Wanna Know” featuring multi-platinum, Grammy-winning artist Daya, the first single from RL Grime’s upcoming album, Nova.

Roofing Company Says Drake Refusing To Pay For Construction Materials

(AllHipHop News) Drake is facing legal action, for allegedly stiffing a roofing company.

According to a new lawsuit filed against the rap star, he contracted the company to make repairs on his $8 million mansion in Hidden Hills, California.

However, the company filed a lien against the rapper’s Los Angeles property over $17,907.99 he allegedly owes for roofing material.

It is doubtful the amount is an obstacle for the rapper, who landed on Forbes “Forbes 5” richest list of rappers at #5 with a net worth of about $100 million dollars.

In 2016, Drake also purchased over two acres of land in the Bridle Path neighborhood of Toronto for $6.7 million another huge mansion is under construction.

(AllHipHop News) According to TMZ, YoungBoy Never Broke Again is out of jail. The 18-year-old (born Kentrell Gaulden) was arrested in Tallahassee for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

He was then extradited to Georgia on a fugitive warrant. Originally held without bail, YoungBoy is now free after reportedly putting up $75,000.

The Baton Rouge native was seen on a hotel surveillance video slamming Jania, but she claimed the couple was just playing around. Gaulden is facing felony kidnapping and aggravated assault charges.

This week also saw the arrival of a new YoungBoy NBA collaboration with Future. “Right Or Wrong” appears on the forthcoming Until Death Call My Name album by the Atlantic Records artist.

(AllHipHop News) Bosses at Kanye West’s clothing company are facing a lawsuit over a camouflage pattern.

Bosses at Jordan Outdoor Enterprises claim a representative contacted them and asked to use the Realtree line design for the Yeezy Apparel and Unknwn brands, but when they explained the clothing items would have to be licensed they allegedly copied the pattern and used it for his items without their permission.

According to reports, Jordan Outdoor Enterprises executives are now seeking unspecified damages.

They have also requested an order to stop West selling the existing merchandise and destroy what is left.

Kanye has yet to respond to the lawsuit, but this isn’t the first time he has been hit with legal action over the brand – in November, he was slapped with a breach of contract lawsuit from a clothing agent in Turkey in a payment dispute.

Derya Gulseven claimed she was hired in July 2015 to help bosses at the star’s West Brands Fashion LLC find manufacturers in Istanbul to produce items for his popular brand, serving as a “season-by-season sourcing agent” and making sure the goods were imported into the U.S.

However, she alleged she was cheated out of the agreed seven percent commission on each total order on more than one occasion, and sued for funds she maintained she was owed.
