Offset From Migos Pays Blac Youngsta $10K Over Falcons Super Bowl Flop, 2 Chainz Blows Off Loss

(AllHipHop News) It looks like members of rap group Migos are starting to pay up on the money they owe, after wagering hundreds of thousand dollars on the Atlanta Falcons.

The New England Patriots stunned the Atlanta Falcons, who blew a 20 point plus lead after half time, only to lose to The Patriots, who ended up winning the Super Bowl for a fifth time, by defeating The Falcons in overtime, 34-28.

Many Atlanta rappers assumed the game was in the bag, so they were naturally stunned by the comeback, which has been labeled the greatest in the history of the NFL.

But for rappers Migos and 2 Chainz, who reportedly bet hundreds of thousand dollars on the game, it’s time to start ponying up the cash.

Migos member Offset lost a cool $10,000 to Blac Youngsta, who posted the rapper anteing up on his Instagram page.

According to reports, Offset lost a total of $50,000 betting on the Atlanta Falcons.

2 Chainz didn’t seem too upset at the loss of his money either.

In fact, he said he would make it back that night (February 5th), after one of his concerts.

Kanye West and Tyga Use Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner For New Video

(AllHipHop News) Kim Kardashian and her sister Kylie Jenner are reportedly reprising their roles as video vixens for Kanye West and Tyga’s new music promo.

The reality TV stars’ men recently hit the studio for the collaborative track “Feel Me,” which debuted online on New Year’s Eve and the rappers are currently working on the accompanying video.

According to Us Weekly, Kanye’s wife Kim filmed her cameo last week, squeezing in the shoot on the eve of a Big Apple meeting with a French judge to give her testimony in her 2016 Parisian robbery ordeal.

Fans shouldn’t be surprised at the Kardashian/Jenner sisters’ involvement in the promo as “Feel Me” features various references to the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” beauties’ lavish lifestyles.

In the chorus, Tyga spits of his girlfriend, “Kylie Jenner thick, you gotta feel me/Happy birthday, here’s a Benz, feel me?/First, last name rich, feel me?/Yeah, b##ch, I’m the s##t, feel me?/We at the highest level, yeah I know you feel me.”

Kim previously co-starred in her husband’s film for 2013’s “Bound 2,” in which she famously appeared topless as she and Kanye rode into the sunset on a motorcycle.

Kylie is also no stranger to music videos – she joined Tyga in his steamy 2015 clip for “Stimulated,” an innuendo-filled track which appeared to detail the then-25-year-old musician’s controversial romance with Jenner, who only turned 18 weeks before the promo’s release.

She also locked lips with rumored lover PartyNextDoor in the hip-hop star’s “Come and See Me” release last summer, during a temporary split from Tyga.

They reunited shortly after the break-up.

Rapper Clip Aims For Success With New Music and Mixtape

Joshua A Beale is an American Hip-Hop recording artist that goes by the stage name Clip.

Clip is known for his aggressive flow and his creative punch lines.

Born in Atlanta Georgia to a single mother, Clip spent a large portion of his childhood moving around city to city with his mother and two older brothers. When Clip was 10-years old, they settled down in a small city just north of Atlanta called Buford, and it was at that time that he began to show his passion towards the Hip-Hop culture.

Clip would spend hours listening and studying the likes of Ludacris, DMX, and T.I., who would ultimately inspire him to act on his passion and pursue a music career.

It wasn’t until Clip was eleven years old that he met his longtime friend and business partner Travielle Johnson, who ultimately teamed up with him to create the dynamic duo 2 Deep.

Clip would eventually leave 2 Deep after receiving a full basketball scholarship to Anderson University in South Carolina. It was in college that Clip would hit his stride and release monster hits such as “Muggin like you Buck,” “Smile in ya Face,” “War” and “My Homie.”

After college Clip moved back to Buford GA where he began to perfect his craft and develop his mantra. His style became so attractive in northeast Georgia, that some of the best artists in the area started reaching out to him to collaborate on tracks, mixtapes and albums.

Clip believed that more voices could be more powerful than one, and that’s when he and his brother started the indie label we know today as “Monstar Records.”

Monstar Records has become the household label in Northeast GA, led by Clip.

Nowadays Clip can be seen performing at numerous nightclubs and recently released the hit mixtape “Guillotine” that can be purchased online or in store. “Guillotine” features the hit songs “Get Down” and “Why the F##k” They Mad” featuring Skippa Da Flippa.

Clip continues to send waves through the northeast portion of Georgia and is on his way to becoming the next big musician from the Atlanta market.

Chance the Rapper Models Obama-Inspired Clothing Line

(AllHipHop News) Chance the Rapper has turned fashion model to showcase a new line of clothing paying tribute to former U.S. President Barack Obama.

The “No Problem” hitmaker, who counted Obama among his famous fans and performed for his fellow Chicago, Illinois native at the White House last year, has posed for a photoshoot for designer Joe Freshgoods’ Thank You Obama range of apparel.

The line includes a T-shirt bearing the Democrat’s likeness wearing a crown, a top featuring the name of former First Daughter, Malia, and a basketball jersey with the number 44, in honor of the 44th President of the U.S., who is known for his love of the sport.

The hip-hop star helped to launch the clothing via his Twitter page, writing, “I’m a model now. #ThankUObama droppin (sic) in like 15 minutes. ThankUObama.us”.

Once the products went live, fans rushed to purchase the pro-Obama collection, prompting the site to crash briefly.

Explaining the reason for creating the collection, Freshgoods said: “With this project I wanted to timestamp a period in my life where I felt like I can do whatever I wanted to do and be whatever I wanted to be.

“The night Obama won his first term gave me so much hope, especially & most importantly as a black man. I decided to make a collection saying ‘thank you’ and give me something to smile at every now and then when I look in the closet.”

Obama left the White House last month after two terms in office.

He was succeeded by Republican Donald Trump.

Rocko And Gucci Mane Squash Beef!

(AllHipHop Rumors) All isn’t bad in Atlanta. The Super Bowl may have temporarily downed the Chocolate City (Trump, we know you had a hand in this malarkey!), but there are some positive images coming out of The A.

Rocko and Gucci Mane ended their long-running feud. And Gucci even posted it on his social media.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BQH2ubzBfz2

The beef goes back to 2013 when Gucci dissed Rocko, calling him a hoe and said he was scared. Let me tell you, Twitter is a MF. Anyway, that’s some old stuff and Gucci was probably very high. He went to jail a short period later.

Glad they worked it it out at Mike Vick’s retirement party, no less. Dope.

Thoughts on this pic, by the way?

Drake Suggests A Young Money Reunion Tour Could Be In The Works

(AllHipHop News) Drake is currently across the pond in London for his “Boy Meets World Tour.”

Footage from one of the Canadian rhymer’s O2 Arena shows hit the internet, and one clip features him suggesting something big could be coming later this year.

“I just got off the phone with Nicki, and she told me to tell y’all hello,” Drake informed the crowd about his Young Money labelmate. “We might have to do something special. We might have to do some Young Money reunion sh-t out here this summer. I might have to bring my friends from America, all my friends from Canada, and the whole OVO.”

Recently, Drake and Nicki Minaj were photographed together.

The Instagram pic came after years of estrangement between the two music superstars because of Nicki’s romantic relationship with Drake’s rival Meek Mill.

Another picture of Drake, Nicki, and Young Money leader Lil Wayne also popped up online this month.

Throughout their respective careers, the self-described “Big 3” have collaborated on tracks such as “BedRock,” “Only,” and “Truffle Butter.”

Is Nicki Minaj Trolling Meek Mill?

(AllHipHop Rumors) First of all, Nicki has confirmed that people are basically dumb as hell. She posted a CLEARLY photoshopped picture of her pregnant. Just a couple of days ago, she was all NOT pregnant and reunited with Lil Wayne and Drake. It was like she got out of prison. Welllllllll….people now think she’s preggers when she may just be trolling her ex.

Do you think that is what she is doing? Maybe.

They were together for a minute! If I was Meek, I would have substituted Nicki’s birth control for a sugar pill or something! There is a presumption of petty with this one. LOL! Honestly, Meek has been holding on much better than I expected. If you cry in silence, it does not matter. “Stay Litty” at all cost. In Meek’s defense, some are saying she is the one that is scorned and negative. I just think ’tis the season for people to act out of accordance with their natural age bracket. Its Hip-Hop!

Did Drake Turn Down $750K To Perform At Floyd Mayweather Event During Trump’s Inauguration?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Floyd Mayweather was not shy about his support for Donald Trump.

The boxing icon was even one of the rare celebrities to show up for Trump’s Inauguration.

Well, it looks like Floyd did not want to be the only famous person partying with Team Trump that weekend.

People are saying he tried to recruit Drake to perform at a DC “fundraising event” the same weekend Trump walked into the White House.

NY Daily News reports:

According to our insider, Drake was initially offered $750,000 to perform, but turned it down because all of the pushback that artists performing in Washington, D.C., on Inauguration Day were getting.

“Floyd tried to assure him that this was not a political ball,” we’re told. “That it was a fund-raiser tied to mentoring kids.”

Seems like Drake said no to the $750K, but insiders claim he thought about taking the gig for $1.5 million.

The organizers said they weren’t shelling out that much.

Was it a good idea for Drake to turn down all that money? Maybe.

The internet continues to drag people like Kanye West, Steve Harvey, and Chrisette Michelle for being anywhere near Trump.

Sales Predictions For Big Sean’s ‘I Decided’ Are In

(AllHipHop News) The Billboard 200 chart is very likely to be headed by rap acts for back-to-back weeks.

Migos’ Culture claimed the top spot on the latest tally, and Big Sean’s I Decided is predicted to lead the album sales for next week.

According to HitsDailyDouble, the G.O.O.D. Music representative’s fourth studio LP is on pace to earn 105,000 – 115,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release.

The traditional album sales for I Decided are projected to be between 50,000 – 60,000 units.

If Sean can hold onto the lead, the Detroit rapper will earn his second straight #1 solo album.

Dark Sky Paradise became a chart topper in 2015 with 173,000 sales plus streaming units collected out the gate.

139,000 of those units were from traditional album sales.

Russell Simmons Talks Upcoming Hip Hop Musical ‘The Scenario’

(AllHipHop News) The use of Hip Hop in musicals is still a fairly new concept.

While the 2Pac-inspired Holler If Ya Hear Me did not work out, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton: An American Musical became a Pop culture staple.

The historical drama also won a Grammy Award, a Pulitzer Prize, and 11 Tony Awards.

Hip Hop pioneer Russell Simmons is now looking to try his hand at a Hip Hop-themed play.

The co-founder of the legendary Def Jam label spoke to the New York Times about the forthcoming The Scenario reaching widespread audiences.

“I want kids in the hood in Detroit to see it. I want sophisticated theatergoers in New York to see it. And they’re going [to] love it whether they’re 50 or 14,” said Simmons.

The Scenario was first announced in 2015, and the Dan Charnas-penned story is now scheduled to open in New York City for the 2017-2018 season.

Charnas is best known for writing the book The Big Payback: The History of the Business of Hip-Hop.

Rock of Ages producers Scott Prisand and Jamie Bendell are attached to The Scenario as well.

Simmons believes the success of Hamilton shows Hip Hop has been fully accepted into American culture.

“I can go anywhere and hear Hip Hop. I think Hamilton does help them buy in, but it’s overdue. It’s long overdue, and I’m excited that I’m part of it,” said the Queens, NYC native.

The Scenario is expected to feature rap music from Universal Music Group’s extensive catalog.

Over three decades of Hip Hop tunes are being considered for the production.

Simmons has stated the show may begin Off-Broadway first.

The plan is to eventually present The Scenario to audiences across the country during a 30-city tour.

Migos Earn First #1 Album With ‘Culture’

(AllHipHop News) It turns out the sales predictions for Migos’ new album Culture were accurate.

Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff’s sophomore set officially earned 131,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release.

That total is enough to give the Atlanta-based trio the first #1 album of their career.

Migos’ previous high on the Billboard 200 album chart came when 2015’s Yung Rich Nation peaked at #17.

Bay Area vocalist Kehlani lands at #3 on the new tally with SweetSexySavage.

The former America’s Got Talent contestant’s debut studio album collected 58,000 units.

Atlanta Rappers Hurt Over New England Patriots’ Defeat Of Falcons In Stunning OT Super Bowl Loss

(AllHipHop News) The New England Patriots proved to be too much or the Atlanta Falcons during an exciting Super Bowl tonight (February 5th).

The Patriots faced off against The Falcons during Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium, where over 80,000 people watched the big game.

Rapper Ludacris performed at the pregame festivities for the third year in a row, while President George H. W. Bush was on hand for the coin toss, which went to the Atlanta Falcons, who deferred.

Atlanta scored the first two touchdowns in the second quarter, and went into halftime with a cushy 21-3 lead over The Patriots.

The game’s halftime festivities were headlined by Lady Gaga who
played it safe by performing a medley of her hits, including Born This Way,” “Poker Face” and “The Edge of Glory.”

New England managed to inch a little closer with a touchdown in the third quarter, but they missed the field goal, bringing the score to 28-9, in Atlanta’s favor.

Next, New England botched an onside kick, which ended up giving the Falcons the ball after the missed field goal.

After Tom Brady was sacked two sacks in a row, New England kicked a field goal and brought the score to 28-16.

New England managed to score with 5:56 left in the 4th quarter and managed to make a 2-point conversion, making it an 8-point game at 28-20 with Falcons holding on to the lead.

After an amazing drive by New England with an unbelievable catch by The Patriots’ Julian Edelman with two minutes left, the team was in a position to tie up the game.

A touchdown by James White put The Patriots in a position to make a two-point conversion to tie the game, the first time a game a Super Bowl game has gone into overtime in the history of the NFL.

The patriots ended up scoring in overtime, beating the Falcons 34-28.

As for the Patriots, it was their ninth appearance, while clinching their fifth NFL championship.

A number of Atlanta rappers reacted in horror to the stunning comeback and eventual loss in overtime after prematurely celebrating Atlanta’s victory.

Atlanta rappers 2Chainz and Migos may have been hit the hardest.

2Chainz plunked down a huge amount of cash on the Falcons, while the Migos allegedly wagered over $300,000.
