Fabolous Hints At Dropping Jadakiss Collaboration On Friday The 13th (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Fabolous is ready to return with more music, but it will not arrive on Christmas like previous years.

The Brooklyn rhymer sat down with 106 KMEL to talk about his upcoming work.

“I’m re-releasing Summertime Shootout 2 with a couple of remixes,” said Fabolous.

He added, “Freddy Vs. Jason is on the way. We were trying to put it out next month in January, but we’re going to drop something to go into it. I don’t want to give the whole thing, but we’re going to drop something next month. Low key, Friday the 13th is next month.”

Fab has been discussing the forthcoming joint project with Jadakiss titled Freddy Vs. Jasothroughout 2016.

Is 50 Cent Retiring From Music Soon?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Uh oh 50 fans! The end may be near!

It looks like the King Of Petty, 50 Cent may be retiring from music soon.

Fif covered this month’s Muscle & Fitness magazine. Along with discussing the success of ‘Power’ and his work-out regimen, he also talked about the state of his music career.

50 Cent revealed that he wants to finish out his career in music with the release of his album ‘Street King Immortal’.

“I want to finish with that project. I don’t want to write another record after that. You know how some artists got to have confirmation that they’re right. I have that confirmation in f-cking 35, 40 million [albums] that I already sold,” he tells the magazine.

Fif has seen some success in his ‘The Kanan Tape,’ and Chris Brown-assisted gold track, “I’m The Man,” but he’s listening to his inner confirmation that it’s time to move on to other things.

Interestingly enough, the news of 50 Cent’s planned retirement comes after what seems to be some light trolling as he claimed he was quitting ‘Power’ after some serious Golden Globe snubs.

Is it too soon for 50 Cent to consider retiring, or has his “time” been up?

Young Thug Disses Lil Wayne Again!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Hip Hop is really turning into ‘Single White Female’ man.

Well in case you missed it, Young Thug is going at his “idol,” Lil Wayne, again.

Thugger is a master troll it seems. They say trolling is an art form, so perhaps Thug just decided to stick with it. Young Thug released a snippet of a song [that’s probably old]. In the clip he says,

“F-ck my idol; coupe got no ceilings.”

Editor of Complex News, @PChopz_ also said he was at an event and heard Thug say f-ck Wayne,

“Thug just said y’all want that Barter 6 sh-t, that f-ck Lil Wayne sh-t,” he said.

You know what, we feel bad for Lil Wayne. It’s like someone trying to be you, once stanning like a groupie, then comes in a rocks with the person doing you dirty who you were once family with and are still signed to. No wonder Weezy is going crazy.

We swear these rappers are pretty bipolar for publicity stunts. Oh and supposedly Thugger plans to release ‘Barter 7’ also.

Fans have made the comparions that:

Young is to Wayne
What Budden is to Drake
What 50 is to Floyd
What Stan is to Em

They just all want to be acknowledged by their idols. LOL Mannnnnn. It’s crazy out here. What are your thoughts?

Did Nicki Minaj Catch Meek Mill Cheating With This Thick Boutique Owner?

(AllHipHop Rumors) These days people don’t know what to believe with these celebrity couples.

Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj are also known for some antics, so who knows if they really and truly broke up.

Meek Mill had the ‘net buzzing when he posted a sexy photo of a woman that wasn’t Nicki Minaj.

That was the first hint that there may be trouble in paradise for the Hip Hop couple, but Meek also followed up by taking to Snap Chat to brag about this new booty!

“Yall wondering who that is,” said Meek.

It looks like Bossip has learned that there is more to the story. Word on the street is that Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have indeed broken up as he’s bought a new home, and they no longer live together.

Sources have revealed that Meek Mill has been getting it in outside of their relationship. No woman is safe from cheating man. If a man is going to cheat, he’s going to cheat in my opinion. With over 7 billion people on earth, should we really have to be monogamous. I mean there are so many options. JK.

Anyway, apparently Meek Mill and his side chick(s) have been posting subliminal inspiration and affirmation posts to each other.

One of the said women, Sonye, apparently wiggled her way into Meek’s life as she’s close with the girlfriends of some of Meek’s entourage members.

Allegedly many in Philly already know that Meek and Sonye have been fooling around, and Meek allegedly funded the money for Sonye to open her boutique. Although reps for Sonye have stated that Sonye is not messing with Meek as she is happily engaged, sources tell us that the two seemed like more than friends, and that Nicki may have found out about several other women in Meek’s life.

Listen, we didn’t expect these two to make it this long.

“Fences” Star Denzel Washington Has A Tough Love Message For Black Men

(AllHipHop Features) Denzel Washington is the thespian emeritus, but the veteran actor still offers a clinic to his peers. That clinic is “Fences,” the incredible new film he stars in and has directed. The movie tells the humorous, tragic and sobering tale of a family of a Pittsburgh, PA family and all the accompanying peaks and valleys. Based on the August Wilson play of the same name, “Fences” delivers a Christmas gift with a gut punch of reality.
Denzel, the incomparable Viola Davis, Russell Hornsby, Mikelti Williamson, Stephen Henderson, Jovan Adepo and even little Saniyya Sidney deliver a master class in “Fences,” wrought with multi-layered messages on the family condition. However, much of the story homes in on the relationship of fathers and sons. I spoke with Denzel and he offered a helping of tough love to Black men and what the general message “Fences” is for us.

“Pain is passed down from father to son, from son to son. A lot of pain in Troy’s life (the lead character in “Fences”) is a result of the pain and damage from his father that he then visits on his son. We as Black men have to be mindful of that sometimes. Sometimes its unfair and sometimes we take it out on those that we love.

And I’m guilty of that frustration that we all have. But we have a responsibility and a duty to be fathers – not to just make babies. But to be real fathers. And you can’t expect any good to come to you if you don’t visit any good to your son or your daughter. So, be a man.”

In the movie, foibles of the protagonist Troy (played by Washington) are replayed over and over again until it has a ripple affect in his seemingly normal, stable blue-collar family. “Fences” is the must-see movie for the Christmas season, but it will continue to deliver a message of strength, perseverance and resolve well beyond the holiday season. Even in death, playwright August Wilson has a delicious recipe for art, storytelling and the human condition.

UCLA Medical Center Investigating Attempted Information Breach Involving Kanye West

(AllHipHop News) The Kardashian clan is known for sharing nearly every detail of their lives through their reality show franchise and social media accounts.

However, personal information about Kim Kardashian’s husband Kanye West apparently could have become public without the couple’s knowledge.

According to TMZ, employees at the UCLA Medical Center were searching for private details about the superstar rapper.

The website reports:

Members of the Medical Center staff were curious when Kanye was admitted and a number of them attempted to gain access to the computer system. Several sources tell us officials at the Medical Center have conducted an investigation. One source says several dozen people have been or will be fired. Other sources simply say the investigation is ongoing and they expect firings.

Kanye reportedly entered the facility to treat exhaustion and for a psychiatric observation.

The “Fade” performer was hospitalized after he ended his Sacramento show three songs into the concert and the remaining dates of his “Saint Pablo Tour” were canceled.

Lex Luger & Taylor J Have Finaly Unleashed “The 91 Family”

Minnesota rapper Taylor J and super producer Lex Luger have finally released their first-of-many collaborative projects with the 8-track album, “The 91 Family.”

This body of work is a complete departure for Taylor and one of which he is very proud.

#The91Family is probably the best work I did all year . And my first collab project with another producer or artist so I’m excited . We created a new sound, a new vibe on this project . A real vibe . Nobody’s makin music like this right now .. so prepare for change ..”  Taylor exudes of his handiwork.

For his part Lex Luger, whose production credits include Jay-Z, Kanye, Waka, Rawse and Wiz to name a few, took to twitter to exclaim his excitement about the project, saying “#The91Family is by far my favorite project I’ve done. Up there with “Cabin Fever” & “Salute Me Or Shoot Me.”

Enough said. Take it for a spin with the knowledge that Volume #2 is already in the works.

Azealia Banks Blasts Nicki Minaj: Stop Calling Yourself The Queen Of Rap

(AllHipHop News) Azealia Banks is back at it again attacking other artists on social media.

The Harlem-raised entertainer had some choice words for fellow New Yorker Nicki Minaj via Facebook.

Banks wrote:

Nicki girl….. now listen. Don’t start throwing shade cause you miss safaree and know that I’ve actually made a BANGER with him.

Don’t get mad, get even. Slim down a bit (especially in your neck and arms). Decrease the butt just a bit (I’ve seen your butt make some really expensive dresses look really cheap) and STOP WEARING SPANDEX AS AN OUTFIT FOR F-CKS SAKE. Also stop calling yourself the queen of rap. Queens don’t wear spandex sweety. Marketing genius yes, but your cheap made in China perfume smells like car freshener and your beverage tastes like kitchen cleaner.

McDonalds sells a lot of burgers but no one is telling McDonald’s that they’re the pinnacle of cuisine and taste. This is true of you.

You run around the meadow collecting all the low hanging fruit so you may turn around and congratulate yourself for having the most fruit, but all of the fruit is mealy and mushy.

I don’t understand why you are so impressed with yourself.

Do yourself a favor and image search gaga 2011 and pick that back up! This “real” Nicki is not as interesting as Gaga-knock off Nicki.

GIVE THE GIRLS WHAT THEY WANT.

And stay tuned for my joint with your man.
I really think you’re gonna love it !

In 2017 I hope you find some new inspiration and decrease your butt implants you would honestly look SOOOOO much better if they were just 150cc smaller.

Cheers to female rap!

Happy Holidays!

-Azealia

Banks removed the message and explained why she took it down in follow-up FB posts.

“Deleting posts as I am not the same person I was two hours ago. LOL,” stated Banks. “Hope you Lot got your screenshots. It’s all jokes guys. Calm down and enjoy the holiday.”

The initial online attack seemed to be a response to Nicki’s The Empire video game supposedly dissing Banks.

There is a section of the interactive game where a character mentions a “mermaid song” and an album titled Fan2Sea being “really loud, obnoxious screech that goes on for hours.”

Banks has a 2012 mixtape called Fantasea which features a mermaid on the cover.

This is not the first time the two female rappers have been involved in a public spat.

The Nicki-Azealia on-again, off-again feud has gone on for years with most of the negative commentary coming from Banks.

Tupac Becomes First Solo Hip Hop Act To Be Inducted Into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

(AllHipHop News) Tupac Shakur is set to be immortalized as the first solo rap act included in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

The iconic emcee/actor/activist was selected for induction into the Rock Hall’s class of 2017.

Tupac will join Hip Hop groups N.W.A, Run-D.M.C., Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, and Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five in the Cleveland museum.

Five other inductees will be part of the ’17 class – Joan Baez, Electric Light Orchestra, Journey, Pearl Jam, and Yes.

Chic co-founder Nile Rodgers will receive the Award for Musical Excellence.

“Rock and roll means so many things to so many different people,” stated Hall of Fame CEO Joel Peresman. “To have a class that has everything from Joan Baez to Tupac Shakur, from Pearl Jam to Yes, is terrific. It gives a lot of people something to hang onto.”

Some critics, such as Gene Simmons of Kiss, have been adamantly against rap acts being included in the Rock Hall, but Perseman embraces the rhymers.

“It’s a broad definition and we consider Hip Hop an important part of the whole genre,” he said.

A special exhibit for the new members will open at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on March 30. Then each performer will be honored at the 32nd annual induction ceremony on April 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The New York event is scheduled to premiere on HBO and SiriusXM.

Ticket sale dates will be announced in January and broadcast details will be announced in early 2017.

Kendrick Lamar Praises President Obama For Inviting Hip-Hop Into The White House

(AllHipHop News) Donald Trump was formally elected the 45th President of the United States after the Electoral College voted for the Republican businessman yesterday (December 19).

Despite Trump’s recent meeting with Kanye West, it is likely the next POTUS will not be as open to connecting with Hip-Hop stars as his predecessor Barack Obama.

Artists such as Common, J. Cole, Nicki MinajChance The RapperMacklemore, and Kendrick Lamar were all invited to meet with Obama at the White House during the current president’s administration.

Lamar told XXL:

We all have to give [Obama] his credit due for even allowing us into the building. We would probably never get inside that house ever again. Think about it like that. Rick Ross, Cole, Nicki Minaj, he really went for us to come experience it. This is something our grandparents always wanted to see, never thought in a million years, but [we can] pass it down to our generation to say, ‘Alright, I’m in here and I’m finna use my power to let ya’ll see how this thing works and I’mma drop some knowledge on y’all that a man can’t drop on everybody else ’cause y’all have the most influence.’

Obama has expressed his appreciation for the TDE emcee as well.

The president named Lamar’s “How Much A Dollar Cost” as his favorite song of 2015.

In addition, Obama picked Kendrick Lamar over Drake when asked which rapper would win in a rap battle.

K. Dot was also among the artists Obama selected as his favorite rappers.
