Migos Go In On XXXTentacion Over Drake Hate

(AllHipHop Rumors) Migos are standing up for the 6 God!

Migos aren’t feeling rapper XXXTentacion and his shots at Drake. They want all of you corny Drake haters to get a life!

The Atlanta rap trio want to know how can an unknown and unheard of rapper be claiming someone like Drake stole their sound and swag.

I mean it could definitely happen, but it does seem like XXX is REACHING!

Welp, it looks like Migos won’t be collaborating with this guy! When Drake previewed one of his songs out on tour last year, some of XXXTentacion’s fans pointed out the similarities in their sound.

Drake commented that he’d never even heard of the guy before the controversy, and that he felt offended that people think he’d be the type of person and artist to steal someone else’s sound.

It’s just funny in general because Migos said Drizzy stole their flow on Versace, collab or not. What are your thoughts?

I really don’t even understand the XXX hype!

Lil Twist On Jail: “That’s Not A Place For Nobody”

(AllHipHop News) Justin Bieber’s former pal Lil Twist has been released from jail early after serving time for allegedly assaulting and robbing former child star Chris Massey.

Rapper Twist, real name Christopher Lynn Moore, was sentenced to a year behind bars in November after he was accused of breaking into actor Kyle Massey’s apartment in November, 2014 and stealing from his brother Chris, who he also reportedly attacked.

Moore, who faced up to 25 years in jail, pleaded no contest to six charges, including burglary, grand theft, battery, and assault with a deadly weapon, and was given until February 3 to turn himself in to Los Angeles County lawmakers and begin his sentence.

However, the 24-year-old, who is signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment label, has since been allowed to walk free, and recently took to social media to celebrate with a selfie.

Alongside a picture of himself in the back of a car, he wrote, “I’m Home ! Thank God!”

At the height of their friendship, Lil Twist was a regular guest at Bieber’s party pad in Calabasas, California.

However, relations became strained after a woman filed a battery report against Moore in 2013, claiming he grabbed her arm during a party at the pop star’s mansion, weeks after the rapper was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) while behind the wheel of Bieber’s Fisker Karma sports car.

He was later cleared of both charges.

Kim Kardashian Has Problems With Her Uterus and Considers Surgery For Another Baby

(AllHipHop News) Kim Kardashian will go under the knife to strengthen the possibility of having a third child with husband Kanye West.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” beauty, who is mother to daughter North, three, and son Saint, 15 months, has suffered tremendously with fertility issues and high-risk pregnancies, but in an upcoming episode of her reality TV show she reveals she considering surgery to help her conceive another baby.

“I have to go in and prepare my uterus because I decided I want to try and have one more baby,” she tells her family in a teaser clip from the forthcoming episode, which airs tonight (April 2).

“I have to have a surgery on my uterus to kind of prepare this hole, so they need to, like, clean that out and then there’s scar tissue,” Kim elaborates, “It’ll still be a really high-risk pregnancy.”

During her pregnancy with daughter North, the 36-year-old was diagnosed with preeclampsia, a dangerous condition that causes high blood pressure and other issues, and as she carried son Saint, Kim suffered from placenta accreta, a condition where the placenta grows deep into the uterus.

Although she could have died in both cases, the reality TV star is determined to go forward with plans to have baby number three.

“Having more kids is definitely going to be a struggle,” she acknowledges. “I’ve gone through so much with really bad deliveries that the doctors don’t feel like it’s safe again for me to conceive myself.”

“This surgery is really the one last thing I can try,” Kim adds. “I want my kids to have siblings, and I want to know that I did everything I could to make this happen.”

Raekwon Discusses His Tribute To Marvin Gaye On The Eve Of His Birth & Death

(AllHipHop News) A variety of rappers have paid tribute to slain R&B singer, Marvin Gaye who was born today (April 2).

Tragically, Marvin Gaye was also shot and killed by his father on April 1, 1984.

Big time producers like Erick Sermon, Questlove, Rico Love and others offered up tributes to the legendary Motown singer, who would’ve been 78 years old today.

Wu-Tang Clan rapper Raekwon took it one step further, with a new collaboration record dedicated to Marvin Gaye.

Raekwon teamed up with Atlanta crooner/rapper Cee Lo Green, for the song “Marvin.”

The tribute song is taken from Raekwon seventh studio album The Wild.

According to Raekwon, he had no intention of recording a tribute record until he heard the track, and then “the words just began spilling out organically,” according to the veteran rap star.

“Marvin’s music transcended genres and it can speak to anyone, but it especially speaks to those of us who come from the inner-city; poverty, oppression, the good and the bad. Living in the inner-city, his music helps us reflect,” Raekwon stated.

According to the chef, Marvin Gaye stuck to his vision as an artist, a stubbornness that helped release his groundbreaking, politically charged, landmark album What’s Going On.

“That is where we have parallels, he spoke to a generation and so do I and Wu-Tang. We share creativity and we speak on what we want people to hear; and not focus on trends. Marvin saw the climate change and what he saw affected him. He stood up for what
he believed in (issues we are still dealing with today) and created conversation and awareness and he had a vision; I resemble those same traits. I wish I could sit down with him and play him this tribute and just smoke a spliff and vibe.”

Rick Ross Says He Had To Defend DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne From Birdman

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Rick Ross lashed out at Bryan “Birdman” Williams in his new song because he doesn’t respect him due to his treatment of Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled.

The hip-hop star released “Idols Become Rivals,” from his new album Rather You Than Me, earlier in March and on the track he accused Birdman of stealing royalties from artists on his Cash Money Records label, using Lil Wayne’s ongoing legal struggle with the label as a prime example and suggesting Williams also treated DJ Khaled badly.

“I just felt it wasn’t right, you know what I’m saying? Khaled is a great dude,” he told radio station Hot 107.9 in Atlanta, Georgia. “If you burn those two (Khaled and Lil Wayne), I already know how you feel about me, and I just don’t respect it.

“I just felt like it was time for somebody to let homie know that ain’t gangsta, and you know, you won’t be respected no longer… it’s a clean your face (check yourself) record, if you think you just taking something from somebody… I ain’t got no respect for him.”

When Birdman was previously asked about the song by Billboard.com, he said he wasn’t getting “caught up” in the drama, insisting, “I’m a man and I stand my ground and I do my thing,” while Lil Wayne thanked Ross on Twitter for his support.

“Dam big bro that msg (message) hit me in the heart and put the motivation on automatik start (sic). I needed that. 1 boss 2 another (sic),” he wrote.

Wayne has been locked in a court battle with Birdman since early 2015, when he filed a $51 million lawsuit against his longtime label boss, accusing his former mentor of withholding money he was allegedly owed for his highly-anticipated album, Tha Carter V.

Jordan Peele In Talks To Direct Adaptation Of Japanese Graphic Novel “Akira”

(AllHipHop News) Comedian and filmmaker Jordan Peele is in negotiations to direct the movie adaptation of Japanese graphic novel “Akira.”

Warner Bros. executives have been developing the live-action project on and off since 2011 and now studio bosses have approached the “Get Out” director to tackle the job.

Recent reports had suggested “Safe House’s” Daniel Espinosa and David Sandberg were frontrunners for the gig.

The movie, about two telekinetic brothers in rival biker gangs, will be based on the 1980s manga series by Katsuhiro Otomo, who also turned it into an anime film in 1988.

Movie chiefs first acquired the rights to Otomo’s series in 2002 and first attempted to make a live-action version in 2011, with Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Stewart, Ken Watanabe, and Helena Bonham Carter in talks to star.

However, the project was reportedly shelved due to budget, script and casting issues.

Leonardo DiCaprio stepped in to resurrect “Akira” in 2015, and he recruited Daredevil’s Marco J. Ramirez to write the script. The “Revenant” star is still attached as a producer via his Appian Way company, and Ramirez is also still on board, according to TheWrap.com.

If “Akira” does move into production, it will be the latest anime film adapted for Hollywood following Scarlett Johansson’s new movie “Ghost in the Shell,” which is based on the Japanese graphic novel series of the same name.

An anime version was also made in 1995.
