Did J. Lo Confirm That Her Relationship With Drake Was A Publicity Stunt?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Drake fans have wondered for a while when will the rapper finally find love and settle down.

Sometimes the single life has it’s perks, but now fans wonder does Drake just prefer the wild single life, or is he the problem. We’ve all noticed how it seems like Drake has a new girl every other week.

Drake even revealed at one of his shows that he can’t keep a relationship long.

“I can’t even make a relationship last 7 weeks man,” said Drake.

Well between random smashes and hookups, Drizzy likes his publicity stunt relationships as well.

Apparently Jennifer Lopez has finally revealed that her and the 6 God were not in a real relationship. It seemed so fake to begin with, but it really could’ve been one of those fun phases people have where they are just casually “talking” to someone, but it feels good.

J. Lo sat down with The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah, and she had to finally really confront and address the question that’s been on everyone’s mind!

Trevor had to get to the bottom of it for us!

“Genuinely, did you get with Drake cause you didn’t know me yet?” asked Noah.

“Let me clear this up, I am not with Drake,” said Jenny From The Block.

I still wonder if they ever messed around doe? What are your thoughts?

Dave Chappelle Addresses His Town Council About Local Police Force (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) On the night of New Year’s Eve, Yellow Springs police officers were involved in several incidents that have some of the town’s residents questioning the force’s tactics.

Among the citizens of the Ohio locale with concerns is a comedy legend.

Dave Chappelle recently attended a Village of Yellow Springs town council meeting, and he spoke about the law enforcement in his hometown.

“Police have actually been sensitive to my situation. I know on at least two occasions where they protected my personal well being unsolicited from me,” said Chappelle. “I appreciate that. Huge gaffe New Year’s Eve.”

According to reports, a black man was thrown to the ground by officers not long after the clock struck midnight on January 1, 2017.

Authorities claim David Carlson was intoxicated, violent, disruptive, and stole one of the officers’ taser.

His lawyer denies the cops’ account of the incident.

Other attendees, most of them white, said it was the police that escalated the situation.

A number of residents actually attempted to shield Carlson as a cop attempted to tase him.

Councilwoman Marianne MacQueen was later charged with two misdemeanors for allegedly interfering with an arrest and obstructing official business.

After widespread backlash from community members, Police Chief Dave Hale resigned, just two years after taking the position.

“Now we’re being policed by what feels like an alien force,” Chappelle told the council.

The creator of the classic Chappelle’s Show television series was at the Yellow Springs NYE event.

He added, “In this Trump era, this is an opportunity to show everybody that local politics reigns supreme. We can make our corner of the world outstanding.”

Chappelle and his family currently live in Yellow Springs, the location where his father was once a professor at Antioch College.

Nicki Minaj Reportedly Not Planning To Respond To Remy Ma’s “ShETHER”

(AllHipHop News) It has been nearly two weeks since Remy Ma dropped her Nicki Minaj diss record “ShETHER.”

Much of the Hip Hop world has been waiting to see if the Young Money star would fire back at Remy on wax.

According to TMZ, people connected to Nicki say she has no plans to respond in the near future.

The website reports:

Our sources say Nicki feels Remy’s accusations are being exposed as lies by various people, including Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Ebro and Safaree. There’s a lot of chatter that Nicki will fall off if she doesn’t respond, but she doesn’t buy it.

We’re told Nicki is not hiding … quite the opposite. She’s in the middle of high-profile appearances at Paris Fashion Week. She’s also featured on 2 tracks that were just released from Future and Gucci Mane. She also just released a new app.

Remy talked about her issues with Nicki on the Another Round podcast and The Wendy Williams Show.

While speaking with Williams, Rem accused Nicki of trying to prevent her from appearing on certain award show’s red carpets and trying to get “ShETHER” pulled from streaming sites.

Nicki’s ex-boyfriend Safaree also went on Wendy, and he claimed the “Make Love” performer attempted to block him from appearing on the talk show.

Murs Drops A Dope Song About Rapping To A Girl

(AllHipHop Rumors) Just days away from the release of his Captain California album, MURS drops a new track from the project, the humorous and light-hearted “Lemon Juice” featuring friend and long time collaborator, Curtiss King. MURS and Curtiss King trade back and forth rhymes where they alternate dissing each other and solicit a girl’s attention they are both seeking. MURS, who drew inspiration for “Lemon Juice” from Positive K’s classic cut, “I Got A Man,” says the song is a reflection of his real relationship with Curtiss King.

“We’ve been working together for years, but I had to find the right place for our personalities to collide ’cause our whole relationship is just me and him going back and forth talking trash about each other,” MURS explains. “We’ve done more serious songs together, but nothing that encapsulates our friendship the way it truly is in real life the way ‘Lemon Juice’ does.”

Emma Watson Defends Her Comments About Beyonce That Critics Are Calling Hypocritical

(AllHipHop News) Beauty and the Beast actress Emma Watson is addressing the critics that took issue with her 2014 comments about Beyoncé.

Some people began questioning if Watson was a true feminist because of her braless photo for Vanity Fair.

“Feminism is about giving women choice, feminism is not a stick which to beat other women with. It’s about freedom, it’s about liberation, it’s about equality. I really don’t know what my t### have to do with it,” responded Watson to the critiques.

However, internet sleuths pulled up the 2014 Wonderland Magazine article where Watson discussed Beyoncé’s self-titled 2013 album.

They used her own comments in an attempt to point out her hypocrisy on feminism.

“I’m quite nervous to bring it up because I still haven’t really formulated my own ideas about it,” Watson said at the time.

She added, “On the one hand she is putting herself in a category of a feminist, this very strong woman — and she has that beautiful speech by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie in one of her songs — but then the camera, it felt very male, such a male voyeuristic experience of her and I just wondered if you had thoughts about that?”

After the backlash from the Bey Hive and others, Watson posted a screenshot on social media from the story which included more of her statements about the Grammy-winning singer.

The Harry Potter star’s Twitter post highlighted sections that appear to be supportive of Beyoncé as a feminist.

Watson stated:

[Beyoncé] does make it clear that she is performing for him. And the fact she wasn’t doing it for a label, she was doing it for herself and the control that she has directing it and putting it out there, I agree is making her sexuality empowering because it is her choice

The second is that I would say you do get sense of, ‘I can be a feminist, I can be an intellectual, I can be all these other things, but I can also be ok with my femininity and being pretty and with all these things that I thought might negate my message or negate what I am about’. That really is the most interesting thing about the album. It is so inclusive and puts feminism and femininity and female empowerment on such a broad spectrum.

Maturing from Hermione to Belle in @beautyandthebeast is a true coming-of-age story for @EmmaWatson: “I couldn’t care less if I won an Oscar or not if the movie didn’t say something that I felt was important for people to hear.” Read the full cover story at the link in bio.
