Nicki Minaj Makes Surprise Appearance With Lil Wayne During ‘NFL GameDay’ (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne made an appearance on NFL GameDay to talk about his favorite team, the Greenbay Packers, defeating the New York Giants in their playoff game.

The television segment also featured an unexpected appearance by Wayne’s Young Money artist Nicki Minaj.

It was one of the first times Nicki has been seen publicly since the rap superstar tweeted about being single, leading to headlines she broke up with Meek Mill.

“You already know I got my key players. I got my Nickis. I got my Drizzys. So we’re gonna be alright,” Wayne told Deion Sanders right before Minaj entered into the screen behind him. “Matter of fact, I got my Nicki right here.”

Wayne and Nicki have collaborated on several songs such as “Knock Out,” “High School,” “Only,” and “Truffle Butter.”

The latter two singles also feature Drake.

Nicki has been estranged from her fellow YM signee since the fallout between Drake and Meek Mill.

Many Young Money fans wonder if the break-up with Meek could lead to Nicki, Wayne, and Drake finally reuniting for another track.

Giants Fans Blast Trey Songz For The Team’s Loss Against The Packers

(AllHipHop News) The New York Giants got blown out by the Green Bay Packers in Sunday’s Wild Card playoff game.

Blame for the 38-13 lost is being placed on several factors and people, including R&B star Trey Songz.

The “Bottoms Up” singer was seen in a much talked about photo of Giants players on a yacht in Miami.

The picture was taken during the team’s day off last week.

Wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz, Sterling Shepard, and Roger Lewis Jr. were in the viral pic as well.

Many observers argued the trip would be a distraction for the players, and the Packers’ clear victory was used as evidence that the Miami excursion was detrimental to the team.

Twitter users began blasting Songz for his supposed part in New York’s embarrassing defeat to the Packers.

“DB’s weren’t on the yacht. Just a lil FYI,” tweeted Songz in response to critics calling him out after Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a 42-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass to Randall Cobb to end the first half.

The social media backlash did not end there.

Songz even retweeted some of the critical tweets to his own timeline, and he offered support to Odell Beckham.

“My whole existence will be haunted,” wrote Songz. “I feel bad for my boy O. Go hard all year long take one day to do whatever you want and fans turn on u.”

Beckham only had 28 receiving yards in the game.

The popular 24-year-old also dropped several passes, with one being a likely reception in the end zone.

Welp, when it seemed like all was well or at least under construction, it seems like Weezy is shutting down those claims.

According to TMZ, sources close to Lil Wayne claim that he has yet to hear anything about settling his $51 million lawsuit, and until he does nothing will change.

The insider also revealed that last week Birdman allegedly met with Universal Music Group, to try to come up with a price that will pacify Lil Wayne.

Remember last week a post on Wayne’s Facebook hinted on the fact that we would see several projects from him including the ‘Tha Carter V’.

Lawd will Birdman and Wayne ever settle their differences?

16 People Arrested For Kim Kardashian Robbery In Paris

(AllHipHop News) According to multiple reports, French authorities have detained 16 people connected to the Paris robbery of Kim Kardashian West.

The reality television star was the victim of an armed break-in in the city last October.

Two men allegedly entered Kardashian’s luxury apartment, tied her up, locked her in the bathroom, and stole over $10 million worth of jewelry.

The suspects were detained during raids in Paris, Normandy, and the French Riviera.

They are all believed to be between the age of 50 and 72.

“One of the DNA samples matched an individual known to police for robbery and criminal offenses,” stated law enforcement.

Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, was not in Paris at the time of the robbery.

The 36-year-old mother has been quiet in public about the ordeal, but she discusses the situation during the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

“They’re going to shoot me in the back,” Kardashian is heard telling her sisters in a clip from the show. “There’s no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it.”

Jay Z And Kanye Reunited?

(AllHipHop Rumors) It wasn’t going to last forever and it seems like the famine ends. Jay and Kanye have reportedly reunite, if you believe the gossip rags. So what that he’s working with Trump! Jay Z stands by his little brother. Maybe.

How did all this transpire.

It seems like Jay Z, Kanye, Beyonce AND Kim K linked up on New York to hash out their feud. Nobody really knows what they are beefing over, but they apparently met and successfully settled their differences.

Here is what is being :reported”:

“Jay reached out to Kanye because he wanted to put an end to the bad blood,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

“The situation was festering and just getting worse, and Jay wanted to try and bring about a resolution.”

“Kanye sort of apologized for running his mouth off, in typical Kanye way—but Jay wasn’t really looking for apologies, he knows Kanye better than to expect one. Plus, Jay knows what a tough time Kanye has been going through and Jay just wants to get back on good terms together and move on.”

What do you think of this? Seems fictionalized! But much stranger things have happened, like Kanye’s hairdo.

Here is some more:

“However, despite hashing it out, and Jay offering up a white flag to his troubled friend, there’s still more than a little tension remaining—and the source says things may never be the same again between the two.

“The meeting was awkward, to say the least, and it’s doubtful they’re ever going to be best buddies, but at least the latest drama is behind them now.”

Martin Shkreli Banned From Twitter For Stalking

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne and Wu-Tang Clan will not have to worry about controversial pharmaceutical inventor Martin Shkreli leaking their music on Twitter anymore – he’s been banned from the site.

Shkreli was banned from Twitter earlier today, and it had nothing to do with music.

He got into it with Lauren Duca, a writer for Teen Vogue, after she turned down his invite to President Obama’s farewell bash on Friday (January 6th).

The rejection didn’t go over well with Shkreli, who has been trolling Duca since her article “Donald Trump Is Gaslighting America” went viral last month.

So, Martin Shkreli turned his Twitter profile page into a dedication to Duca, and even photoshopped his profile image to make it appear as if they were dating, despite her objections.

“He’s an entitled creep and absolutely deserves to have his account suspended, perhaps indefinitely,” Lauren Duca said in a statement.

Shkreli, who is free on five million dollars bail on security fraud charges, also bought the only existing copy of Wu-Tang’s album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin for $2 million dollars.

Last month, Martin Shkreli gained more notoriety when he leaked a track which was supposedly taken from Lil Wayne’s unreleased album Tha Carter V.

Wack 100 Calls 50 Cent Out For Disrespecting Gang Politics With Soulja Boy & Chris Brown!

(AllHipHop Rumors) The Game’s manager, Wack 100, believes everyone needs to pump their brakes on this Chris Brown & Soulja Boy fight.

Wack 100 certainly has some words for his artist’s former boss 50 Cent! Wack took to Instagram to inform 50 Cent that this fight won’t be happening until the gang politics are in order.

Basically he says this fight won’t be going down without his blessing.

“That fight only gone happen if we say it’s gone happen. Let’s all respect the politics. I got paperwork already. Them n-ggas is Piru’s and the thought that you a real street n-gga would overlook those politics and not extend the proper respect is out of order. #LetsFigureItOut,” posted Wack.

All weekend 50 Cent has said the fight must go one despite him claiming that Soulja Boy allegedly got robbed for his chain in LA. While Soulja Boy claims he never got robbed for his chain, he certainly didn’t go live immediately to prove it like 50 Cent dared him to do.

It looks like Wack 100 and 50 Cent may get added to the fight card the way things are going lol.

Check Out T.I’s Open Letter To President Barack Obama

(AllHipHop News) Atlanta rapper T.I. is planning to up his level of political activism, now that Donald Trump is set to be the 45th President of the United States.

T.I. is planning to write a series of open letters, directed at President Barack Obama, Donald Trump and America.

According to The New York Times, T.I. was motivated by the deaths of Philando Castile, Alton Sterling, and others African-American men who were shot and killed by police in 2016.

“My first purpose is to communicate and share my thoughts and try to be a voice for the people who may be thinking of something to say but, for some reason, may not be able to say it or may not have the platform to say it,” T.I. said.

When asked about what it would be like living under Trump’s upcoming administration, T.I. did not seem too enthused.

“I don’t have to talk about or wonder what it will be like,” T.I. reasoned. “I will have to live through it. I don’t want to be presumptuous, I don’t want to be premature in my criticism.

The news of the open letters comes on the heels of T.I.’s politically charged EP Us Or Else, as well as his full length Us Or Else: Letter To The System.

Check out the full open letter below:

T.I.’s Letter to Barack Obama

You entered humbly into our worlds from the streets of the South Side of Chicago and galvanized a generation. You resonated from the barbershops to the airwaves to the streets of every hood across America. Many of US did not know your name, nor did we truly understand the impact you would have on the world in the years, months and days that followed.

As I reflect, I am filled with gratitude, outrage, grief, anger, humility and appreciation, both for the things you helped bring to light and the many things we still have yet to realize.

For years you fought to keep this nation from the very thing we have now become.

For years, many of US failed you because, as I’ve said before, we were not all ready for the change you wanted to bring about.

But rest assured that we heard you. Rest assured that we felt you and rest assured that your legacy will live on long after your presidency.

Not only did you impact a nation, but you defined a culture and you shook up and woke up a generation.

A generation that unfortunately fears more than ever being further wounded, overlooked, abused, neglected and having to fight for what we now understand is not such a basic right and that is the plight for equality and basic human dignity.

While many of US act like this is something new, those of US who have been fighting, marching and writing about it know that inequality, hatred and bigotry has crippled and silenced US for a very long time. Although we are wounded, don’t count US out of the fight.

We thank you for helping US face and focus on the very issues that plague our communities and diminishes US all. While I, too, responsibly admit to engaging in the behaviors that further perpetuates the negative stigma in our communities, I wanted to thank you for looking beyond our shortcomings.

As I reflect back on my teenage years when I heard my favorite rapper and person, Tupac Shakur, tell me we weren’t ready for a black president, leaving me in nodding in agreement until you brought US the audacity of hope and reminded US that yes we can.

As you transition out of office, we continue to watch you carry out your final agenda with precision, integrity and purpose. That is what we will remember as signature Obama.

For every one of US who has been touched by you and tasked with a choice between finding a way or walking away, I say we can and must do more.

We cannot afford to live in a prolonged state of grief, but must remember that we have no choice but to dust ourselves off, wipe off our wounds and move beyond this barren state of shock.

We will forever be grateful to you and your family, the graceful intelligent compassionate first lady, Mrs. Obama, as well as your beautiful daughters Sasha and Malia for their collective sacrifices for US. WE will continue to stand with you and alongside those who make a personal investment in US. We will continue to remain committed to causes that are bigger than ourselves. We will continue to remind ourselves that, Yes, We still can!
