Did Pharrell Kick Kim Burrell Off Of Their Ellen Set?

(AllHipHop Rumors) While people are certainly free to express their opinion, they may want to think twice especially when it can affect one’s opportunity and one’s coins.

Well Pastor/Gospel artist Kim Burrell had to learn the hard way after one of her sermons containing hateful and homophobic comments went viral.

Many Christians believe that homosexuality is a sin [according to the bible], so it’s hard to be surprised or alarmed at Kim’s rant.

What really got people upset was the fact that she said homosexuals were going to die in 2017 because of their perverted sin.

Considering the fact that Kim hasn’t won one Grammy or sold a significant amount of records, she messed up big time. Maybe an appearance on Ellen could’ve taken her mainstream [probably not lol].

Anyway, Kim was cut from her performance alongside Pharrell on The Ellen Show in support of their music from the ‘Hidden Figures’ film soundtrack.

Pharell & Janelle Monae have both spoken out condemning Kim’s hate speech. Janelle and Ellen have both let it be known that Kim will NOT be appearing on Ellen’s show.

The question is who cut Kim? Was it Pharrell? Ellen? Or both?

While Ellen, who is openly gay, won’t be giving Burrell a platform to spew her hate speech against homosexuals, it would’ve been entertaining to see Ellen get in Kim’s azz. #Pause!

21 Savage, Kxng Crooked, Cyhi & Nitty Scott Join Teen Stars On “Daddy Issues

On January 10, 2017, teenage sisters Iliana Eve and DJ Hannahbella are releasing their debut project Daddy Issues.

The two sisters, who are only 14 and 16 years old respectively, have experienced a whirlwind rise in the music industry recently.

Iliana Eve aka “Ana” had her first recording released through Snoop Dogg’s record label Doggy Style Records only a few months ago.

Since then she’s been featured on top publications such Billboard and Houston Chronicle and both sisters have been seen all over the internet on most of the popular hip-hop blogs.

Kanye West’s artist Cyhi The Prynce (G.O.O.D Music/Sony) who serves as one of Ye’s main songwriters and who is up for three Grammy Awards for his many contributions to the Life of Pablo album is featured on the teenager’s debut.

Eminem’s emcee Kxng Crooked of hip-hop super group Slaughterhouse (Shady Records) and Snoop Dogg’s new artist,

Heebz Street, appears on the project with the song Letters that Snoop has publicly supported and helped promote.

One of the hottest new rappers in the industry, 21 Savage, makes an appearance on Kylie’s Daddy.

Orlando’s Nitty Scott (Kendrick Lamar, Joell Ortiz) and Pulse Nightclub shooting survivor Patience Carter also shows up on the project along with the late Marsha Moyo, a UN ambassador and humanitarian from Zambia.

Renowned producer Jonathan Hay, who was selected as a TIDAL Rising artist through Jay Z’s streaming company, produced the bulk of the album.

“Over the years I’ve been able to work with what some consider the greatest DJ’s of all time, including a full album project with DJ Revolution and work with the late Roc Raida. DJ Hannahbella at only 16 is at that level right now – that really blows me away,” said Jonathan Hay.

Other producers that round out the Daddy Issues project include the multi-platinum Kemar McGregor (Musiq Soulchild, Sinead O’Connor), Benny Reid (Concord Records), frequent Hay collaborators Mani Ajami (Royce da 5’9, Twista) and Sean Dean (Showtime TV network).

Toronto’s rising star model Aneesa Badshaw, a creative director and performer on the album says:

“I met everyone involved in early December during a modeling shoot in Florida and I quickly fell in love with them and what they were doing. I find this project relates to me because I know what it feels like to have daddy issues. I grew up without my biological father being in my life until I started getting older. Since the day I was born I grew up with my stepdad, and he filled all of the voids in my life and made me feel that I didn’t need my biological dad.”

Daddy Issues is more than just an album. There is also a TV show in the works.

Industry veteran Ranna Royce who’s been focused on the television side of Daddy Issues says “Jonathan [Hay] and I have known each-other for over 10 years and there’s been nothing but creative energy and good vibes.

For the last few months we’ve been working on the TV show Daddy Issues and we are so excited for people to tune in and relate.”

The video for his song “Sex Tape” has hit the internet, and the clip includes some explicit content.

Lil Yachty & Orlando Brown Send Some Hilarious Shots At Soulja Boy!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Chris Brown isn’t the only person fed up with Soulja Boy. Lil Yachty and Orlando Brown have a little bit of time for the “Crank That” rapper as well.

Soulja Boy became this week’s favorite joke when his interview with DJ Vlad hit the net. Soulja Boy tells a story that seems to be both fabricated and fradulent about him once shooting and killing a robber.

Social media wasted no time jumping in on the #SouljaBoyChallenge recreating the hilarious interview, and roasting the rapper.

Everyone from Joe Budden to comedians DC Young Fly, and Michael Blackson decided to get in on the fun.

I was waiting in the wings to see if Lil Yachty would jump in on the challenge, and sure enough, he couldn’t resist it. Their short-lived beef last year was quite interesting.

Lil Yachty decided to actually pick on Soulja Boy by pretending to be him. Yachty’s fabled story is about Soulja Boy once shooting his own uncle because he tried to scuff his Jordans.

Yachty also pokes fun at SB by saying he hasn’t had a hit since “Kiss Me Through The Phone,” and he used to sell ringtones. Yachty then pretends to cry [as Soulja Boy] because he feels like no one listens to his music anymore. LOL.

Then fans trolled Orlando Brown into thinking Soulja Boy was talking about him, so Brown immediately went off!

“I’m not about to quarrel with a n-gga that humps his homeboys,” said Brown.

“Everyone knows you hump your n-ggas. And you are happy about it; happy about rubbing d-cks.”

Orlando Brown also takes a shot at Soulja Boy’s former pal Arab. An associate of Arab once claimed that he was tired of being in the shadow of Soulja Boy and wanted to do his own thing, so he left.

“Tell the truth; shame the devil.” said Brown. LOL Orlando calls Arab his gay Lad that can’t rap either. He claims Arab left Soulja Boy’s camp because he was sucking Soulja Boy’s d-ck.

Aww man Orlando and one of his friends even jumped on SB’s “Crank That” record to record a diss song.

It’s to my understanding that a professional troll told folks to go on Orlando’s page and tell him that Soulja Boy had been talking about him to get him started. It looks like it worked lol.

It’s truly Soulja Boy Vs. Everybody, and it’s only January 3rd!

Snoop Dogg’s Bodyguard Tackles Man Who Gets Too Close At Ricky Harris’ Funeral

(AllHipHop News) Late comedian Ricky Harris’ all-star send-off on Tuesday (January 3) was marred by a funeral home fight.

A bodyguard working for Snoop Dogg had to tackle an unnamed man who charged at the rapper as he waited to view his dead friend’s body at the Long Beach memorial in California.

Actress and comedienne Sherri Shepherd was at the funeral when the violence kicked off and the distraught star posted video of her reaction on social media.

Vivica Fox Chokes Back Tears and Ends Beef With Her “True Love” 50 Cent

(AllHipHop News) Rapper 50 Cent and Vivica A. Fox have been less than cordial over the years, since they stopped dating in 2003.

In fact, the two have been engaged in social media wars that have produced some very memorable, yet insulting memes.

Whether it was 50 Cent going at Vivica, or vice versa, both artists kept their fans entertained with their frequent disses to each other even though they haven’t dated in over ten years.

But things may have cooled down between the pair, according to Vivica A. Fox who ran into 50 Cent during last night’s New York Knicks game.

“I ran into him last night at the Knick’s game” Vivica told Wendy Williams on “The Wendy Williams Show” during a stop to promote her new show “Vivica’s Black Magic.

”Vivica said the meeting at the NBA game was purely coincidental.

“I walked over to him and I said Happy New Year, I introduced myself and said hello to everyone,” Vivica A. Fox continued. “It was in private, so there were no fans, no camera, nothing…someone has to be the bigger person.”

Vivica became emotional when Wendy Williams discussed her past relationship with 50 Cent, telling the talk show host she would “always have love” for the rap star, as she broke down in tears.

“I told him last night, I’ll always always love you, we’re not meant to be together but I will always have love for you.”

Keegan-Michael Key Talks Voicing A “Washed Up” Rapper On ‘The Simpsons’ (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) An upcoming episode of The Simpsons will center around a Hip Hop theme.

Several high-profile entertainers contributed to the show which also serves as an homage to F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.

Keegan-Michael Key (MADtv, Key & Peele) provided the voice of Jazzy James, a character described as a “washed-up rapper.”

Fox has now released a clip of Key discussing his role on the animated series.

“We were talking about how to settle on the voice,” said the actor. “He’s got small dreadlocks and for some reason a person who got small dreadlocks, he gonna be a little up here in his voice. I don’t even know why that’s the case.”

The hour-long “The Great Phatsby” episode will also feature cameos by Hip Hop stars Snoop Dogg, Common, and RZA.

In addition, Taraji P. Henson of Empire was cast as a guest for the show.

“It’s a tale of greed, excess, betrayal, revenge, and ruthlessness, and there’s a hilarious goose in it. The goose is really funny,” Simpsons executive producer Matt Selman told Entertainment Weekly in December.

“The Great Phatsby” is scheduled to air on January 15 at 8 ET/7 C on Fox.
