(AllHipHop News) Every year Forbes magazine releases a list of the wealthiest people in Hip Hop. The usual suspects make their way to “The Forbes Five” annually, but 2016 sees a new face crack into the top.
According to the publication, Aubrey Drake Graham has joined Sean “Diddy” Combs ($750 million), Andre “Dr. Dre” Young ($710 million), Shawn “Jay Z” Carter ($610 million), and Bryan “Birdman” Williams ($110 million) among the richest rap figures. The OVO founder jumped over 50 Cent with a current net worth of $60 million.
The arrival of Drake and the listing of Birdman in “The Forbes Five” comes somewhat as a surprise to some observers since other Hip Hop representatives reportedly have a similar or even larger net worth than the two YMCMB stars.
Individuals such as Master P ($350 million), Eminem ($120 million), Snoop Dogg ($110 million), Ice Cube ($100 million), Lil Wayne ($100 million), and others have been said to have accumulated wealth exceeding $100 million.
Forbes describes its procedure for creating the list as follows:
To compile the Forbes Five list, we follow the same procedures used to calculate our list of the world’s billionaires: looking at past earnings, valuing current holdings, leafing through real estate records and talking to analysts, attorneys, managers, venture capitalists and some of the moguls themselves to find the details.
(AllHipHop News) When Quentin Miller released the song “unHOLY,” certain lyrics on the record seemed to be a response to Drake’s “Summer Sixteen.” Drizzy rapped, “How am I keeping it real by keeping this sh-t to myself? You was never gang, gang, gang, gang, you was never one of us.”
Miller came back with, “You can throw them shots at me, let’s start a war. When it comes to jabbing, I’m as good as Floyd. I was never gang, gang. I was 1317 the whole time.”
Q.M. had never addressed the “unHOLY” lines until now. The Atlanta rapper sat down with DJ Vlad to discuss the speculation his bars were meant to be a “diss” toward Drake.
“Let people interpret it however you interpret it,” said Miller about the track.
The WDNG Crshrs member also covered his song “Potential” which was also assumed to be a Drake diss. Miller insisted the line about how many platinum albums in 2015 did not have his name on it was not meant to be disrespectful toward the Toronto rhymer.
“I feel like people feel like if you acknowledge something, if you say anything, it’s a diss. Even on ‘unHOLY’… however you decide to interpret it, but I just don’t get how you interpret that as a diss,” added Miller. “Maybe it might be more of a response, but even still it’s not a diss. I would never disrespect that man.”

Lani Tsumani is back! This time she’s letting it all go on her latest single 24/7.
After the fiasco of a possible unfaithful love triangle between Kehlani, Party Next Door, and basketball player Kyrie Irving, and a suicide attempt posted on social media, Kehlani seems to have been on an emotional roller coaster. And she hasn’t said much in response to all the controversy. But she premiered a new hair do this week, in which she cut off her dark locks, and transformed into a short, sleek honey blonde. So maybe the haircut gave her the liberation she needed after all of this.
In this latest song, produced by DZL, she shares deep messages and emotions. It seems like shes not holding anything back for anyone, and she encourages “it’s alright to not be alright to search for your light.”
Miami emcee, Zoey Dollaz released his first single after signing to the FreeBandz label.
Last month, he inked the deal and now he’s out to join the rest of his labelmates as turn up gawds. The single, “Couches” plays as the perfect anthem to eff the club up. The track opens with the Rick James skit from the Dave Chappelle Show, then transforms into a blend of piano, brass, and hard beats, put together by producer Jahlil Beats,
Meanwhile, Zoey proves he can write a good hook and meets the hard hitting beat with some hard hitting bars. He’s proving he deserved that spot on FreeBandz. We’ll see what else he has in store.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper 50 Cent has apologized to a hearing impaired airport employee he mocked on social media after his family threatened legal action.
The hip hop star, real name Curtis Jackson, posted a video of 19-year-old janitor Andrew Farrell pushing a cart of cleaning supplies through Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on Instagram last Sunday, and when the employee failed to respond to the musician, 50 accused him of being high on drugs.
He said in the clip, “Look at him. What kind of st do you think he took before he got to work today? He high as a motherfker right here in the airport. Pupils dilated – the new generation is f**king crazy.”
The video went viral before the rapper took it down after realizing he had been insensitive when Andrew’s stepfather, Ken Kramer, revealed the teen suffers from social anxiety disorder and hearing impairment.
Kramer informed TMZ he was planning to sue 50 unless the rapper donated $1 million to Andrew’s GoFundMe page and apologized to the teenager in person.
The In Da Club star has now apologized to Andrew, stating: “It was certainly not my intent to insult him or the disability community (sic), which is a source of great strength in America. I have apologized personally to him and his family.”
He added, “While the incident at the airport resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding, I am truly sorry for offending the young man.”
Farrell’s family has reportedly dropped any legal action against the rap star with sources telling TMZ Ken Kramer and his wife are satisfied with 50′s sincere apology and are no longer chasing him for a $1 million charity donation.
Recently, legendary rapper KRS-One was the subject of controversy when he said “I don’t give a f**k” to the allegations of sexual assault and child pedophilia facing Zulu Nation. Well, the Bronx native has responded in an op-ed piece titled ” Keep The Focus And Ignore The Haters [Part-One].” Read it below.
I have just arrived in Barcelona; sorry for the delay. In response to the responses and comments made after my interview with Nore, I am taking this time to clarify some of my statements to those that seem to be confused about my remarks regarding the controversy surrounding Afrika Bambaataa. One headline that I had read stated “KRS-One Doesn’t Care If Afrika Bambaataa Molested Kids”. Wow! Really? Fortunately, anyone can go to the audio and/or video recording of my entire interview with Nore and see for themselves just how irresponsible such headlines are. It seems that people will say anything these days to draw attention to their site.
I am indeed concerned about the accusations made against Afrika Bambaataa, but I will not become entangled in a controversy that seems to be less about justice and more about self-promotion and revenge. Of course, I care if a young person is being abused or even neglected, my entire life is based upon the protection and further development of young people; I teach and inspire young people every day! But, as you can see, irresponsible headlines like “KRS-One Doesn’t Care If Afrika Bambaataa Molested Kids”, and trying to turn a funny song I did years ago into some kind of question regarding my character is precisely the type of sensationalist gossip which I really don’t give a f### about! Let us have Focus And Ignore These Haters.
I said then as I am saying right now, it is not that I don’t care at all about the accusations made against Afrika Bambaataa; I am saddened at the whole controversy and how it is being handled. It is not that I don’t care, it is more the fact that I don’t gossip, I don’t take sides in real disputes that don’t concern me, I don’t slander people’s names and I don’t believe in abandoning your friends when they may be accused of crimes or make mistakes in life. What is so confusing about that? My position is clear! At this moment, all I am seeing and hearing regarding Afrika Bambaataa is gossip and sensationalism, and like I have already said, “I really don’t give a f### about all that!” I don’t apply my mind to gossip and slander. Slandering the accused for the sake of slander is not justice, nor is it the seeking of justice. I would like to see justice and healing for both the accusers as well as for the accused. But continuous slander and disrespect are not healing anyone or even correcting the situation. Disrespect and slander is NEVER an indicator that true justice is being sought. Disrespect and outright slander proves personal vendettas and revenge against the slandered, and I don’t participate in such immaturity, nor am I naïve to political set-ups and character assassinations.
Instead of using one’s mind and time to gossip about Afrika Bambaataa, I think we should look closely at what it means to hate. There is no forgiveness, justice or healing on any level when hate is involved. Hate is also a federal crime, as well as a spiritual disease. There is no victory with hate, and hate is what is leading the charge against Afrika Bambaataa; not justice or even healing or reconciliation. Only love conquers all! And within the character of love is forgiveness, and healing, and loyalty; this is what is needed at this time. Hate reveals itself for what it really is—evil! It cannot see clearly so it exposes itself at every turn, and those that truly love can see it. Hate is indeed self-destructive, and this is what real Hip Hop must avoid at all cost. Only love sees clearly. Only love is consistent because only love is UNCONDITIONAL. Love shows us the full life of the accused; not just the accusations brought against the accused.
So, in closing, I would ask that you not expect KRS-One to seriously lend his mind to such sensational issues when there are larger, and frankly more serious, issues concerning the future and global existence of Hip Hop. Issues pertaining to the correct documentation and updating of Hip Hop’s global history, the colonization of Hip Hop by the university system, Hip Hop and Healthcare, Hip Hop and Education, Hip Hop and urban policing, Hip Hop’s relationship to the White House, Hip Hop recognized as an American-born culture with federal protection and its own tax benefits, more touring and recording opportunities for our youth, our Hip Hop City, and so on. These are the things that serious Hip Hop scholars, artists and journalists are discussing. And by the way, Nore and I did discuss other issues pertaining to song-writing and my present battle with M.C. Shan, to police misconduct and creating a Hip Hop currency, but for some reason the controversies surrounding Afrika Bambaataa is what our entire conversation has been reduced to with deliberately disrespectful statements like “KRS-One Doesn’t Care If Afrika Bambaataa Molested Kids” as the main focus of our interview. This whole thing is childish and immature, and this is precisely why our community remains in the powerless state we find ourselves within today. Am I the only one that sees this? I think it’s time we grew-up!
Serious students and apprentice of our culture can review paragraphs 20 through 29 of the Eleventh Overstanding of the Gospel of Hip Hop pages 470 and 471 for further insight on this matter. During Hip Hop Appreciation Week (May 16th—22nd 2016), I will also be releasing a special instructional video entitled “An Introduction To Hip Hop” for those interested in upgrading their teaching of Hip Hop; go to KRS-One.com for viewing. And of course, check-out my new music project “Now Hear This” with two new bonus tracks also available at KRS-One.com. This is what’s important, not gossip and slander with no attempt at real justice. Instead of seriously tearing each other down, let us consider seriously building each other up! Guard your soul; seek peace always.

Beyoncé delivered yet another electrifying performance on the third stop of her ‘Formation’ tour at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. A crowd of over 50,000 individuals were certainly in formation to see the living legend do what she does best: entertain! Beyoncé took fans on a musical journey as she showcased her vocal prowess taking her voice from velvety depths to airy heights accompanied by some power-strutting choreography. The show was brilliantly staged and choreographed as more of a masterfully constructed production than your average concert. Beyoncé used her classics and new singles to run through a range of emotions and themes including self-empowerment, betrayal, defiance, joy, sensuality, sexuality, redemption, and celebration.

Usually concert goers aren’t too enthused about those that precede the main act, but it’s a “Major Key Alert” when you have the one and only DJ Khaled opening your tour. DJ Khaled pulled out all the stops as he brought out Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, T.I., Ludacris, The Dream, Kent Jones, and August Alsina back to back to perform their various hits. The energy was insane. It was almost as if those in attendance didn’t want DJ Khaled’s set to end just yet.
Their was a brief intermission in the show between DJ Khaled’s set and Beyonce’s. The LED screens flashed with highlights from her ‘Lemonade’ special and her Ivy Park commercials. Fans slid to the edge of their chairs in anticipation of the greatest living entertainer’s grand entrance. Before fans knew it, the guitar riffs that open Beyoncé’s “Formation” were heard and Beyoncé emerged on the smoke filled stage wearing her new signature wide-brim hat. Beyoncé said,
“ATL Welcome to the ‘Formation’ Tour. If you got all dressed up tonight say I slay. If you know who you are say I slay.”
By the time she sung her signature line,
“My daddy Alabama, mama Louisiana, you mix that Negro with that Creole make a Texas Bama,”
The crowd went nuts! Beyoncé and her phenomenal dance troupe certainly proved that they had “some coordination”. Queen Bey sounded off and picked the perfect song to open the show. Less than 30 seconds in, Beyoncé owned the moment, the night, and the Dome. ‘Yoncé reminded you that she changed the game when that ‘Lemonade’ dropped.
“I dream and I work hard I grind ’til I own it. I go hard; take what’s mine. I’m a star.”
Knowles transitioned into another one of her new songs, “Sorry”. As “Sorry” proves to be the ultimate “moving on” song, the women screamed in unison “middle fingers up” and “boy bye!” Fans couldn’t help but to also help Beyoncé sing, “You better call Becky with the good hair.” either. She then switched the energy up as she performed “Mine”, “Hold Up” and “Standing On The Sun”. Beyoncé delivered a heartfelt message before she sung “Me, Myself, and I”, as she told the women in the audience that God lives in all of them and as she stressed the importance of self love. She sung the record with so much passion and soul as she belted out,
“Now that it’s over stop calling me.”
Beyoncé’s use of a larger-than-life LED screen (that both rotated and split at times) and pyro effects on the stage were incredible. The larger visuals enhanced the viewing of the choreography as well as showcased various video montages that pieced together the story behind ‘Lemonade’ and her artistic as well as personal journey. Beyoncé played no games in regards to subject matter as she placed “Don’t Hurt Your Self” and “Ring The Alarm” back to back. Fans in attendance were pretty excited to see ‘Yoncé perform some of her choreography to O.T. Genasis’ “Cut It” as well. It was through her performance of songs like “Bow Down”, “Flawless,” “Feeling Myself” and “Run The World”, that fans were reminded that Beyoncé has been running the game for over a decade, and the diva is truly a force to be reckoned with.
Photo by Frank Micelotta/PictureGroup for Parkwood Enterainment
It was exciting to see Beyoncé perform a mashup of her song “Rocket” and D’Angelo’s “Untitled (How Does It Feel) as the songs have been praised and noted for their similarities.
Beyoncé also paid homage to the late icon Prince with a tribute segment that included an illuminated purple stage as Prince’s “Purple Rain” played. Fans joined in by singing the classic hit and waiving their cell phone lights from side to side.
Additional highlights from the show included a performance of “Survivor,” “Freedom,” and “Halo” in water, and a performance of Beyoncé’s country hit “Daddy Lessons.” Beyoncé and her dancers often moved their performances from the main stage to a lengthy catwalk, seemingly to give more fans an intimate front row view of the show.
Like ‘The Beyoncé Experience’ tour, ‘Mrs. Carter’ tour, and ‘On The Run’ tour, Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ tour was another one for the books. It has always been incredible to witness the interwoven nature of Beyoncé’s past classic hits and her new material on each tour. Beyoncé tends to let it be known that she has her own lane of R&B that showcases influences of funk, rock, pop, reggae, and hip-hop. Beyoncé let the thousands in attendance know,
“ATL, this is the best crowd so far on the tour.”
Seeing Beyoncé command a stage for two hours with “Flawless” execution and precision, her eclipsing Super Bowl cameo, and the deliverance of yet another surprise No. 1 album, are yet another reminder that the possibilities for Beyonce are endless. The Georgia Dome was filled with excitement, raw energy, empowerment, sensuality, and love as Beyoncé proved once again why she is heralded as a living legend, true artist, and prominent figure in music.
As a rule, moviegoers aren’t greatly encouraged by the studios to look closely at the boxes in which their entertainment is pre-packaged and sold to them. Case in point, buddy action comedies starring African American protagonists tend to have them playing either a cop, a goofy outlaw or a goofy outlaw who secretly wants to become a cop in an interesting simpatico with the ‘h##### with a heart of gold’ paradigm. To illustrate this tendency we have Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in “Bad Boys”, Eddie Murphy in “Beverly Hills Cop” and “48 Hours”, Danny Glover in “Lethal Weapon” and more recently, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart in “Ride Along”. This observation is not any sort of complaint against these films. On the contrary, all of these movies are incredible and the comedic talent is prime – if not in many cases iconic. Nevertheless, when it comes to what we are allowed to see when it comes to action films starring two guys of color who are supposed to be funny, why can’t we see something a little outside of that box that is both funny and fresh as a new, more modern classic? Didn’t they do this with the “Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle” franchise? Yes, but while John Cho and Kal Penn, the actors who played Harold and Kumar respectively, are excellent, Cho is of Korean ancestry and Penn is Indian – leaving things once again in the minus column when it comes to African Americans doing this kind of movie and doing it well. However, with “Keanu” we might finally have something to get excited about with Rell (Jordan Peele) and Clarence (Keegan-Michael Key) – two ordinary guys who ‘happen’ to be African American and miraculously get caught up in extremely atypical circumstances (gang war, contract killers, strippers and drugs) trying to do something extremely ordinary – retrieve a lost kitten.
For those who have a problem with the whole kitten angle as a concept, perhaps you aren’t familiar with the slightly off kilter but always hilarious yet socially aware comedy of “Keanu’s” stars, Jordan Peele, (who co-wrote “Keanu” with his longtime writing partner Alex Rubens), and Keegan-Michael Key, creators of the wildly popular but now defunct Comedy Central series, “Key & Peele.” To watch “Key & Peele” sketches online is to see something akin to the excitement and magic that buzzed around Eddie Murphy’s early SNL work like “Mister Robinson’s Neighborhood”, or the work of Damon Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Jim Carrey during the first season of “In Living Color.” It’s comedy that comes from a place just left of center, imbued with that spark that hints at a special something that is much much more than any sketch series – provided the conduit from television to cinema is complex and built to last. To that end, the way that “Keanu” has been carefully crafted with the deft utilization of core Key & Peele alumni in co-writer Alex Rubens and director Paul Atencio, the code has been effectively cracked what regard to what is needed for genuine success with audiences – both those familiar with “Key & Peele” and those unfamiliar with the comedic brand. All the same, New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures need to be greatly commended for taking a gamble on this movie that is anything but another formulaic equation, and packs a strong punch to the funny bone due to the heart and soul left on the table in the making.
Nevertheless, don’t get it twisted. “Keanu” isn’t some sort of overly precious treatise on action movie making, nor (thankfully!) is it a “message” film when it comes to comedy, race, kittens or anything else. Mostly, it’s just a really fun romp with some on point comedic turns not only from Key and Peele, but an inventive and inspired cast in Will Forte, Luis Guzman, Method Man,Nia Long and a rare find in it’s leading lady, cinematic newcomer Tiffany Haddish.
Indeed, as one of “Keanu’s” greatest successes out of many, it will likely have more than a few viewers wondering just what will happen next to Rell, Clarence, Keanu and the gang after the final credit roll.
“Keanu” starring Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Tiffany Haddish, Method Man, Luis Guzman, Will Forte and Nia Long is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
(AllHipHop News) The plight facing Africa Bambaataa continues to roll along and now Bam’s personal bodyguard is the one speaking up.
Star , the radio host that has campaigned the issue, conducted an interview with Shamsideen Shariyf Ali Bey, who was had of Bambaataa’s security as well as an original member of Black Spades. The Black Spades were the gang that eventually morphed into the positive collective known as the Zulu Nation.
Shariyf Ali Bey does not mince words in his indictment of the Zulu Nation leader.
“There’s always a boy in his house. When he leaves and gets home, there’s always a boy there. I’ve seen them camped, asking him for money,” Shariyf said. “He travels with late teens, those are the ones he takes overseas with him. When I went with him on tour in the states, I’d stay in one room, and he would have boys in the room with him.
No longer a member, Shariyf Ali Bey said that Bam is beyond help.
“This is heart-breaking. Its sorry and its sad and help and all that…he is beyond help,” Shariyf Ali Bey said. “The best help he can do is be honest with yourself, honest with the world.”
Rumor has it that Jay Z and Beyonce have been fighting over their Bel Air mansion. In Oct Bey-Z moved into a $150K a month 20,000 square foot rental mansion in the affluent Bel Air neighborhood. Radar Online reports almost immediately after the couple moved in, they were said to be having blowout fights and sleeping in separate bedrooms. Radar Online also says that now six months into their stay they aren’t in agreement with what to do with the house. Allegedly Bey no longer wants to spend that much money a month if they aren’t going to be staying there especially with her being on her Formation Tour all summer. Apparently Bey wants Jay Z to drop everything and go on tour with her, and Jay doesn’t want to move out of the mansion and go anywhere until their contract is up. Maybe they figured out some sort of compromise. We do know that Jay is on that tour though! People have been going even harder with the assumptions that the couple may be having marriage problems after the release of Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ album and HBO special. They may not be having problems at all; they may just be marketing geniuses.

(AllHipHop Features) If there was ever any doubt that Lupe Fiasco is capable of captivating a crowd, one would have only had to experience his “Tour For The Fans” appearance at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta on Monday night. Over an hour into the Chicago native’s set, Lupe was still able to mesmerize his audience with the nearly 9-minute song “Murals” by merely standing in front of a microphone and reciting bars.
Lupe has been one of Hip Hop’s most appreciated lyricists of the past 10 years. That decade of success was personified by the mixture of ages in attendance at his ATL stop. College kids, 80’s babies, and 40+ heads were rapping, dancing, and vibing together as one collective.
Fans packed the front of the venue as Fiasco ran through popular cuts like “Kick Push,” “Daydreamin’,” “Superstar,” “The Show Goes On,” and “B-tch Bad.” Even though Lupe announced at the beginning of his performance that he would not be engaging in the typical rap show routine of instructing the audience on how to respond, he was very interactive with his devotees throughout the concert.
At one point, Lupe asked his security to retrieve some backstage snacks for a woman who insisted on constantly reminding the emcee it was her birthday. Another concert goer traveled all the way from London, and she left Georgia with a promise to receive some special perks the next time the star travels across the pond.
The most memorable give-and-take of the night came when Lupe split the crowd into two parts to see which section could be the most turnt to his track “Next To It.” Tour deejay Double-O of Kidz In The Hall predicted the “Fiasco” side would be crowned the winner, and the artist went with the “Lupe” side to earn the symbolic victory. In the end, the “Fiasco” crew was named the champion (for the second show in a row).
The room was properly electrified before the headliner even began running through his hits. Opening acts Z-Verse, Billy Blue, and The Boy Illinois each energized the congregation with their respective tunes.
Fellow Chicago rhymer Z-Verse started off the night. The longtime Fiasco associate used his record “Greed” as a dedication to Donald Trump. Verse was followed by the “Hood Haitian” Billy Blue of Miami who brought out Lupe for “Chopper” and “Fundamental.” Later, The Windy City’s The Boy Illinois had the gallery singing along to his Nas/Lauryn Hill inspired “Ruling Class ’15.”
When Lupe finally took the stage, the Grammy winner ignited Variety Playhouse with “The Coolest” off his critically acclaimed LP The Cool. In addition, he offered new material from his forthcoming trio of final albums (DROGAS, DROGAS Light, & SKULLS) expected to be released this year.
The evening eventually closed out with the Hip Hop veteran thanking his followers, deejay, crew, family, and entire team as the soundscape of J Dilla’s “Gobstopper” played from the speakers. In a testament to his dynamic stage presence, Lupe Fiasco was able to charm his spectators with 90 minutes of music and personality without once breaking the spell.
Rapper 2 Milly made a huge impact with his hit record “Milly Rock” that song sparked a dance craze across the country. 2Milly has been grinding hard since the release of that song he has connected with Springfield, MA rhyme slinger Cheekz for his follow up single which is aptly titled “Grindn Hard.” Check out the visual here.

(AllHipHop News) It is a well-known fact that Afeni Shakur was a member of the Black Panther Party and her death comes as they prepare to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. It has been exclusively told to AllHipHop that just recently – prior to her sudden passing – Afeni had been discussing the anniversary festivities and events.
Jamal Joseph, a renown Black Panther Alumni, author and activist, expressed deep loss at Afeni’s passing.
“My heart is broken into a million pieces,” Jamal Joseph told AllHipHop.com. “Afeni taught me more about being a man than any other man or woman.”
Afeni Shakur and Jamal were a key figures in the Harlem branch of the Black Panther Party and went to trial together. Afeni was one of only two women who went on trial as part of The Panther 21, a group of New York-based Black Panthers that were illegally and falsely persecuted by the State of New York. They faced put to 300 years each for conspiracy to plan bombings and long-range shootings on NYPD and other education office in New York City.
It became the longest and most expensive trial in New York history.
Though they had a team of lawyers, Afeni chose to act as her own lawyer and defend herself. Eventually all 21 members were acquitted.
“This is a woman, even if she hadn’t given birth to Tupac, that we should still be celebrating, ” Jamal Joseph said on Afeni. Jamal was the youngest of The Panther 21 and was extremely close to her.
Now, with Afeni’s death, the 50th anniversary of the Black Panther Party takes on renewed importance and will honor the many others who have since passed.

People have wanted to know ultimately why did Russell Simmons and Rick Rubin split up. Rusell explains to DJ Vlad that they began working on different projects and focusing on other artists. Simmons says he started pulling away gradually as he began to balance other business ventures. Russell Simmons also says he doesn’t buy in to rap beef, and he’s never had a rap beef. Simmons said artists always get mad but he’s not scared of anyone on this planet. We have to wonder are there some old sealed up stories of Uncle Rush getting popping back in the day. Maybe not as he says he doesn’t believe in violence.
