Cleveland’s Ripp Flamez comes correct on his new song Lebron Flamez in celebration of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ recent win of the NBA championship.
The track “Lebron Jamez” was produced by Mitch Mula as Ripp compares himself to Cleveland’s hometown hero.
The video was shot during Cleveland’s parade for The Cavaliers.
“Some artists may have content and substance and others may just have melodies, rhythm, and good production,” Ripp Flamez says. “I have both, along with a unique voice and an organic fan base.”
The rapper said his uniqueness is drived from his upbringing in the Garden Valley Projects, one of Cleveland’s roughest areas.
“There’s a lot of different talent in the city with a lot of genuine support,” Ripp Flamez explained. “I found my sound in the midst of all that; so did Kid Cudi and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, two of the artists I look up to most… It’s a tough city and you have to earn your support, you have to show what you really about.”
(AllHipHop News) Atlanta rap star Jeezy made some major announcements surrounding his record label CTE World during a private dinner in Atlanta he recently hosted in Atlanta.
Various movers-and-shakers in the Atlanta Hip-Hop world were invited to the dinner, where Jeezy welcomed rapper and frequent collaborator Boston George to the CTE World record label.
Boston George has had serious buzz since dropping his mixtape “Trappin’ in Traffic” which featured verses from Meek Mill, Jeezy, Kirko Bangz and Big K.R.I.T., was hosted by DJ Mr. Rogers and DJ Drama.
During the event, Jeezy also announced artist Boo Rossini will be serving as the new President of CTE World.
“I’m excited about the direction CTE is moving in and what we’re building,” Young Jeezy told AllHipHop.com “Signing Boston [George] just made sense for us. He’s about what we’re about and ushers in a new wave of street rap to the label.” He added, “And Boo [Rossini] has been my ace for years now. I’m proud of how he’s grown as an artist and businessman. He’s more than earned his appointment as President of CTE World.”
Boo Rossini and Boston George just released their new single “F##k The Summer Up,” which features Young Thug and Jeezy.
“FTSU” is taken from Boston George and Boo Rossini’s new album Drug War 3, which is slated for an August release.
Check out Boston George’s song “FTSU” featuring Young Thug and Jeezy and take a look at some pictures from the private dinner.

Just when you wonder what Usher will do next musically, he comes back with another banger.
Usher linked with Young Thug last month to pay some pretty serious homage to Master P on their collaboration, “No Limit”.
In the chorus Usher even let the ladies know that he would make them “say uhh!” The thought of an Usher and Young Thug collaboration may have seemed strange to most at first, but any and everyone collaborates nowadays, and the two seemed to compliment each other well on the track.
Now Master P and Usher have been spotted in the studio cooking up the “No Limit” remix. Uh oh! Make em say UHHHHH P! We can’t wait to hear P’s verse!
Since knocking out Yuriorkis Gamboa and winning Fighter of the Year honors in 2014, Terence Crawford has been rightly viewed as one of most talented and versatile fighters in boxing. But the Omaha native and WBO junior welterweight titlist still has challenges ahead. On Saturday night, he attempts the unify by facing the other consensus top fighter in the division, WBC titlist Viktor Postol.
Aside from making deciding the best fighter in the division, the fight holds huge significance for Crawford as it marks his debut as a pay-per-view headliner. In a sport in dire need of a young, homegrown U.S. star, can Crawford fill the void?
When he’ll know he’s the best fighter in boxing.
Crawford: When I’m univerally labeled #1 Pound 4 Pound. I know I’ve arrived, but I’m not where I want to be yet. That’s why I won’t rate myself #1. The rating has to be a combination of both (fans and media). The people didn’t like Mayweather, but they had to respect he was Pound 4 Pound #1.
On facing Viktor Postol on pay-per-view.
Crawford: Well, it was a surprise. But at the same time, it wasn’t something I was worried about. My main concern is that I got the fight. I don’t feel like I cornered him. He’s a champion that wants to fight the best. I’ve been trying to do the same thing. We have the same promoter so we should have got the job done making this fight.
If unifying junior welterweight is still important over bigger matchups at welterweight.
Crawford: Not at all. I feel the winner of this fight will be labeled the best in the division, hands down. The fans, from New York to here in Vegas, have been receiving me very well. My team has been getting great feedback. As for this being my debut main event at the MGM Grand, it don’t matter where we fight — you still have to perform in that ring. We could fight in Mexico. What matters is what you do in the ring.
On being able to fight orthodox and southpaw against Viktor Postol’s style.
Crawford: It doesn’t matter that he’s taller — I have no preference on height. I got the ability to adjust to any fighter. I make my adjustments on the fly and am working on becoming one of greatest fighters of all time.
I don’t know if beating Postol will be enough to get me my second Fighter of the Year. It’s still a long year ahead and can’t worry about that until after I put the work in.
Who did you enjoy punching in the mouth the most?
Crawford: Ah man, Hank Lundy hands down! That was one guy that I really wanted to knock out. Yeah, I said something to him right after [the ref stopped it]. I’ll keep that between me and him — he knows what I said. He was real humble afterward and giving me my respect.
Buy the pay-per-view on Saturday night. It’s going to be a great night of boxing.
Crawford vs. Postol airs Saturday night July 23 on HBO pay-per-view at 9 p.m. ET.

According to reports, the new set of custom emojis dubbed “Screwed Up Texas” will feature characters from Trae The Truth’s YouTube animated series “TRAE.”

“I wanted to get into the emoji game” Trae explained to the Houston Chronicle. “I have a creative side and I stay in tune with what’s current. I noticed what some other artists were doing, but Texas didn’t have any representation so I wanted to be the first to do it.”
Emoji Fame has developed custom emoji sets for other musicians, such as Dizzy Wright, Hopsin, Heiroglyphics, and Zakk Wylde

For Crawford, who has had the honor in 2014 of being named The Boxing Writer’s Association’s Fighter of the Year, it would appear that the grand accolades that his opponent Viktor Postol has received, largely based on his win over Lucas Matthysse in 2015 have felt like a bit of a slap in the face to the accomplished 28 year old fighter.
Nevertheless, the sting of what Crawford feels has been a case of being underappreciated in the press and it might be quite good when it comes to actionable entertainment value come fight night.
The perceived slight seems to be energizing both Crawford and his trainer Brian McIntyre when it comes to their dedication to significantly lower Postol’s stock or pull out all the pugilistic stops trying when it comes to July 23rd.
Other subjects were equally high on Crawford’s list when we caught up with him at his recent press conference at Hollywood’s Fortune Gym, like current domestic civil problems when it comes to Black Lives Matter, police brutality and the purpose of the second amendment.
Crawford, who has experienced gun violence himself, was only 21 years old when he survived what could have been a fatal gunshot wound to the head after a dice game in his home town of Omaha, Nebraska.
Crawford, along with McIntyre and his Hall of Fame Promoter Bob Arum, had some compelling words on how they see this nation’s current struggles with issues of race, class, divisions between minority communities and police enforcement, as well as how professional boxing fits into that whole discussion.
Terence Crawford vs. Viktor Postol is scheduled for tonight (July 23) on HBO PPV at 9pm ET live from the MGM Garden Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joe said he had over 20 diss records ready for Drake, and apparently he isn’t bluffing. Drake decided to call Joe out at the beginning of his “Summer 16” tour in Dallas, so Joe fired back with this new track “Just Because.”
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Drake has extended his U.K. chart reign to 15 consecutive weeks with his hit song “One Dance.”
The Canadian HipHop star has been dominating the singles countdown and he is now just two weeks away from breaking Bryan Adams’ record as the longest-running number one, after scoring 16 uninterrupted weeks at the top with his 1991 classic “Everything I Do (I Do It For You).”
Drake’s continued popularity equals Wet Wet Wet’s achievement in 1994, when they spent 15 weeks in first place with “Love Is All Around.”
Meanwhile, “Perfect Strangers” from Jonas Blue featuring Cooper climbs one spot to two, and “Don’t Let Me Down” by Chainsmokers featuring Daya is at three.
In the U.K. albums chart, British soul star Michael Kiwanuka has scored his first number one with Love & Hate followed by Adele’s 25 at two.
Christine & The Queens move up to three with Chaleur Humaine, while Drake’s Views and Coldplay’s A Head Full Of Dreams round out the new top five in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
(AllHipHop News) Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins’ daughter Heavenly Joy opened proceedings with a song at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio on Thursday night (July 21).
The six-year-old, who was a contestant on Season 10 of “America’s Got Talent,” performed stunning renditions of “Let There Be Peace on Earth” and “America the Beautiful.”
Heavenly Joy’s father is best known as the super producer behind hits like Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name,” Michael Jackson’s “You Rock My World,” and hits for Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Beyonce among others.
The little girl drew praise for her performance, however some accused the Republican party of pandering to the African-American community, to counter accusations of racism that have dogged presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign.
Twitter user ?@quantumanimist commented: “Wow! #RNCinCLE Saved their best pandering for the big night!
Now, get that little princess #HeavenlyJoy outta there”.
When she was on “America’s Got Talent,” host Howard Stern commented that she would make a “terrific Spice Girl” like fellow judge Mel B.
Heavenly replied “I don’t know what that is … I wasn’t born yet.”
Her mother, Joy Enriquez, a former contestant and winner on “Star Search” and backup singer for Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey tweeted her pride after her daughter’s performance: “Proud Mother! I love my daughter’s heart – it is so pure! #RNCinCLE #HeavenlyJoy”.
Rodney and Joy married in 2004, they have four children together.
Rodney has not commented on Heavenly’s performance.
(AllHipHop News) Drake’s pockets are now going to be just a little bit lighter, after his concert in Dallas went over its scheduled time, leading to a fine for the Toronto MC.
According to TMZ, the artist got a late start to his concert at America Airlines Center Thursday night, causing his performance to go over its scheduled midnight close.
Time is definitely money as the arena fined him $6,500 for every 15 minutes he performed past midnight.
Drizzy wasn’t too concerned to have his pockets hit a little however as he even told the crowd that he was going over and money wasn’t a thing.
The rapper finally ended up closing his set at 12:35 a.m. which will total a $13K fine for the Hip Hop giant.
As Gucci gears up for his ‘Gucci Mane And Friends’ concert, that will take place tonight in Atlanta, it looks like the Fox Theater is gearing up in another way.
Apparently there has been a safety letter circulating from the venue’s operation manager that states that Gucci Mane and his reputation could attract gang activity, firearms, violence inside and outside the venue, as well as rowdy crowd behavior.
Because of this, the venue is planning to implement a large-scale comprehensive security plan this evening.
The operations manager even said that Gucci’s concert may result in fringe issues in other districts.

Does this rap resurgence mean Jay is ready to return with a new body of work? Jermaine Dupri discussed his relationship with the Roc Nation head in an interview with Rap Radar.
“Me and Jay have conversations that I’m sure he probably don’t have with nobody else,” said Dupri. The So So Def founder later revealed Jay’s follow-up to 2013’s Magna Carta Holy Grail is close to being complete.
“I know the name of Hov’s new album,” added Dupri. “It might be done.”

Joe Budden certainly has no chill, a whole lot of time, and a serious petty itch! Budden stopped by The Brilliant Idiots podcast and told Charlamagne Tha God and Andrew Schulz why he started his diss attack on Drake.
He also said that he has 20 more diss tracks for the 6 God.
Budden feels like Drake has been really bothered because other people felt the same way he felt about Drakes “less-than-inspiring” ‘Views’ album.
Joe says Drake knows his pen game, and he doesn’t care anything about his fame, celebrity, as well as his successful run, as Drake used all of it to get at Joe.
Joe isn’t upset that Drake replied; he just feels some kind of way because he says Drake was a fan of him, and he says there aren’t too many emcees, Drake included, that can go toe-to-toe with him lyrically.
Even with Joe’s vault of 20 disses for Drake, it seems like no one really cares about this forced beef. It’s all good and fun when rappers can keep their beef on wax, but for some reason most are yawning at this one.
T.I. decided to speak out and give his take on the recent events of these past weeks, stopping by Hot 97 to chop it up with ‘Ebro In The Morning‘ for a lengthy discussion. The Atlanta rapper spoke on a variety of topics such as #BlackLivesMatter, police brutality, the problems facing our country and more.
A$AP Mob made an appearance during last night’s episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” performing their Yams-tribute single titled “Yamborghini High.” The Harlem bred crew is gearing up their upcoming compilation project “Cozy Tapes Vol. 1.”
