Iggy Azalea Returns To Twitter To Address Erykah Badu’s Joke

Iggy Azalea decided to take a mental break from Twitter earlier this year after she was continuously put on the chopping block for cultural appropriation among other things. Over the weekend, Erykha Badu threw serious shade Iggy’s way when she dissed her during her hosting gig at the 2015 Soul train Awards. Acting as if she was answering a phone call Badu said “Who is this? Iggy Azalea? Yeah, hey. Oh, no, no, no, no, you can come, ’cause what you doin’ is definitely not rap.”

The Grand Hustle rapper decided to check back into her timeline to respond to Badu and seemingly other mean tweets sent her way.

Travi$ Scott Says Rihanna Is His Muse

Travi$ Scott and Rihanna have grown quite close, but the details surrounding their relationship have been scarce. The “Antidote” rapper has appeared in Puma ads with the bad gal and she has been spotted at many of his performances. Scott has been dodging questions about the ‘BBHMM” singer but in his latest sit down with Complex for thier Dec/Jan 2015 cover story, he did describe her as his muse.

And Rihanna. Travis avoids directly putting a label on his budding relationship, laughing and imploring me to not “do [me] like that, man” when I ask about it as delicately as possible. I am, however, able to get him to describe her in three words: “creative,” “inspiring,” and, after a long pause (and some assistance from Corey), “muse.”

Scott also discussed his musical style, saying his tracks aren’t your typical rap songs.

“My music isn’t rappity-rap-rap-rap. I base my music off of lifestyle and emotion—that’s why my music has a lot of chords, even if it’s a hard-ass joint. I consider myself an artist, which is, like, the most played term, but I believe it. Don’t get it twisted, I’m no b####, n*gga got bars. But I’m not, like, super conscious. I don’t write, I just go in the booth. I’m attached to the beat. The beat speaks words. I love music.”

Now, music video director Benny Boom has been brought on to direct the biopic, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

That may have changed. A version of Ross’ song “Color Money” has leaked online, and the Black Market track features a few bars that seem to be aimed at Drake and his Young Money boss Lil Wayne.

According to reports, the 37-year-old apologized to the city of Rochester as his wife Yandy Smith and their 10-month-old daughter sat in the court room.

Smith and harris were married live on Love & Hip Hop New York earlier this year.

On Instagram, he delivered a message of responsibility and regret.

I want you all to understand something. I completely accept responsibility for all that is going on. My transition to be a better person a productive person started well before this case. However in my past I made some bad decisions. Young men let my life be an example to you now before it’s too late. Better who you are now in your children’s lives and in society so you can change the path of your fate. Lack of opportunities, a fatherless home, the unforgiven neighborhood and circumstances you grew up in can no longer be your excuse. Trust me I tried. And it doesn’t make the pain your family feels any different. Young man educate your self and break the cycle. Don’t become a number on the DOA (dead on arrival) list or on the incarceration list. To my wife and children you are all strong and well prepared for this. This is just another brick laid down towards our house of happily ever after , walk with your head held high knowing I would never past the buck and put another family through what we have endured. Continue to walk in faith and love as you’ve done so well. To my peoples thank you for all the encouragement and support please continue to encourage my family. Thank you again all.

EXCLUSIVE: Master P Says He Will Not Be Strong Armed For Money From Ex-Wife Or Attorney

With a contentious court battle currently playing out in the news, No Limit founder and hip-hop mogul Master P is fighting to clear him name against allegations made by his ex-wife, Sonja Miller. Insisting that he’s simply doing what’s best for his children, he reveals that while he would love for his kids to be with their mother, her alleged drug use has contributed to the deterioration of their relationship, resulting in the children remaining in his care. Speaking to AllHipHop he went further into detail explaining,
No one wants to be with anyone if that is doing wrong. Maybe
maybe the court system should focus on that. Something is wrong with the picture when all 7 of the kids feel the same way and the words from Sonya’s own mouth were ‘Go live with your dad. My kids know I have a strong value system and education is first, so if they think it’s going to be a party my house would not be the place. I’m going to put this in God’s hands.
Largely ignoring the press surrounding the former couple’s ongoing court battle, he now feels that enough is enough. He added,
The false accusations about me, means nothing. I’m going to keep doing right by my kids and people that know me personally, know my true character. When people claim that things happen to them a long time ago and are not able to provide evidence or police reports, they are only false accusations coming from the attorney. I’ve been a celebrity for a long time, anything that I do would be news. I am praying for my ex-wife, she is being strong armed by her attorneys for money. Drugs have destroyed a lot of families but we will get over this. I have a lifetime commitment to my kids.
