Chrisean Rock Calls Blueface “A Flop”—Claims She Made Him Relevant Again

Chrisean Rock slammed Blueface as a “flop” and claimed she “put him back on the map” during a heated livestream as their rocky relationship unraveled once again.

The volatile pair’s brief reunion has officially fizzled, with Rock unloading a series of blunt statements about her ex after being kicked out of his house last week.

“I’m the reason why Blue is at where he’s at now. He was a flop,” she said on Instagram Live Tuesday (June 24). “Y’all need to stop playing with me.”

Rock doubled down, saying, “I put him back on the map. What did anybody else do? Nothing.”

The rapper and reality star also revealed she had financially supported Blueface during their relationship. “Put all my money in his account,” she claimed. “Because I’m trusting that he will be a real one.”

When a viewer suggested she was living in Blueface’s house, Chrisean Rock quickly corrected the record.

“That is my house,” she said. “I pay the bills. What do you mean?”

However, despite her claims, Bleuface booted his ex and their son out last week.

Rock returned to the home to gather her belongings, documenting the moment on livestream as she carried out more than a dozen trash bags filled with clothes and personal items. “We almost outta here, bro,” she said.

Meanwhile, last week, Chrisean Rock accused Blueface of using drugs while behind bars. “He’s smoking Fetty (Fentanyl). Like, he’s getting high,” she claimed. She also alleged that he “caught drug charges” while locked up, which she said extended his sentence from six months to two years.

The final straw in their latest breakup came during a livestream argument, where Rock refused to quit working and stay in the house as Blueface demanded.

She confirmed she was single and focused on her future, saying she was “staying resilient” and “standing firm.”

Diddy Gets Major Win: Prosecutors Drop Arson & Kidnapping Charges In Federal RICO Trial

Diddy scored a major legal win in his federal racketeering and sex trafficking case Tuesday (June 25) after prosecutors dropped attempted arson, kidnapping and aiding sex trafficking claims, gutting some of the most serious allegations against him.

Federal prosecutors told Judge Arun Subramanian they would no longer pursue charges related to an alleged break-in and car fire involving Kid Cudi, nor would they continue with claims that Diddy helped facilitate sex trafficking.

The government stated that it would remove those charges from the jury instructions, effectively ending that part of the case. The decision came after 29 days of testimony in a high-profile trial that has gripped the Hip-Hop world and beyond.

The dropped charges centered on a 2011 incident where Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, claimed Diddy broke into his Los Angeles home after learning he was romantically involved with Cassie Ventura.

Kid Cudi testified that he found his dog locked in a bathroom and luxury gifts opened in his kitchen. Weeks later, Cudi’s Porsche was destroyed in a Molotov cocktail attack. A Los Angeles Fire Department investigator testified that the blaze was intentional and targeted.

However, no male DNA was recovered from the incendiary device, and fingerprint evidence from the break-in was later destroyed by the LAPD’s evidence unit.

Kid Cudi said he confronted Diddy about the fire, but Diddy denied any involvement, reportedly saying, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Despite the dramatic testimony, prosecutors ultimately abandoned the arson and kidnapping theories, leaving Cudi’s claims legally irrelevant to the case.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s legal team rested their defense in under 30 minutes, choosing not to call any witnesses.

Instead, they leaned on a series of romantic and explicit text messages between Diddy and Ventura to argue that the nature of their relationship was consensual.

As closing arguments began Tuesday, the prosecution shifted focus to Diddy’s alleged “freak-off” sex parties.

They introduced video clips, text exchanges and financial records to argue Diddy and his staff coordinated sexual encounters involving escorts and partners.

Diddy, 55, has pleaded not guilty to five federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force or fraud and transporting individuals for prostitution.

If convicted on any count, he could face significant prison time.

Monday (June 24), defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro asked the judge to acquit Diddy on all charges, arguing the government failed to prove he was part of a criminal enterprise.

She said the prosecution had not shown he violated RICO laws, agreed to join a conspiracy or operated any enterprise beyond his personal relationships.

Brandy & Monica Address Longstanding Feud Ahead Of Reunion Tour: “It Did Turn Into Something”

Brandy and Monica are finally turning the page on decades of rumors and rivalry as they gear up for their first-ever co-headlining trek, The Boy Is Mine Tour.

The R&B icons discussed the long-awaited tour during a sit-down with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, where they also addressed the years of speculation about their relationship.

“They were trying to get us to do a tour since ’98,” Brandy revealed. “It just finally felt like the right time. It was a dream come true.”

The tour announcement follows renewed buzz around their 1998 hit “The Boy Is Mine,” thanks to their cameo in Ariana Grande’s music video of the same name and a Grammy nomination for the remix.

But Brandy and Monica made it clear that this tour is about more than nostalgia.

“There was a lot of confusion and conflict, and there was a lot of people around,” Monica explained, reflecting on the origins of their rumored feud. Brandy added, “The song didn’t help. We were fighting over a boy.” Monica jumped in with a laugh, “We don’t even like the same type of boy…there could never have been a boy.”

Both singers admitted the tension grew over time, but they’ve since worked through it by shutting out outside noise.

“It did turn into something,” Monica said, explaining they eventually shut out the opinions of the “peanut gallery” and began communicating directly.

Now, they’re calling their renewed partnership a “musical marriage.” Monica said, “We created the communication and the relationship to do it.”

The tour will feature special guests Kelly Rowland, Muni Long and 2025 American Idol winner Jamal Roberts.

The Boy Is Mine Tour kicks off Wednesday (October 16) and runs through Saturday (December 7) with 24 stops in major cities across the country.

Attorney Suing Fat Joe Arrested For Wild Assault Involving Case

The lawyer suing Fat Joe, Tyrone Blackburn, was arrested Wednesday (June 25) and charged with second-degree assault for allegedly hitting a process server with his car while trying to avoid being served with a lawsuit tied to the rapper.

The incident stems from an April 2025 lawsuit filed by Fat Joe—real name Joseph Cartagena—against Blackburn and Terrance Dixon, his former hype man. The suit accuses the pair of extortion, defamation and emotional distress after they demanded money for alleged songwriting and vocal contributions and later threatened to smear Cartagena with disturbing claims.

According to Cartagena’s legal team, Blackburn attempted to flee service of the lawsuit by striking the process server with his vehicle. Despite the failed escape, the paperwork was successfully delivered. The arrest, Cartagena’s attorney Joe Tacopina said, only confirms what they’ve long argued.

“Tyrone Blackburn’s arrest comes as no surprise to me – it’s just the latest example of his malicious and manipulative pattern of misconduct finally coming to light,” Tacopina said. “Blackburn is an embarrassment to the legal profession and it’s a disgrace watching him use the court system to shield his extortion tactics. This is exactly why Mr. Cartagena proactively sued Blackburn and his client Terrance Dixon in April because he knew they intended to try to destroy his reputation by peddling salacious lies.”

The original demand letter, sent March 23, claimed Dixon was a “ghostwriter and uncredited vocalist” on Fat Joe’s songs. After being ignored, a second letter on April 21 threatened a lawsuit with inflammatory accusations including statutory rape, forced labor and sex trafficking.

Following the issuance of a warrant, Blackburn and Dixon filed a retaliatory suit against Cartagena.

Blackburn’s legal tactics have drawn scrutiny from the bench. In April 2024, Judge Denise Cote referred him to a grievance committee, writing that he “improperly files cases in federal court to garner media attention, embarrass defendants with salacious allegations, and pressure defendants to settle quickly.”

In March, Judge J. Paul Oetken issued a separate order criticizing Blackburn’s filings as “replete with inaccurate statements of law” and “full of similar irrelevant insults, misstatements and exaggerations.”

Ashanti Reveals Nelly Is “Packing” In Wild Reality Show Teaser

Ashanti dropped a bombshell in a cheeky teaser for her upcoming reality series with Nelly, where she casually revealed her husband is “packing” — and she’s got the baby to prove it.

In a clip shared on Tuesday (May 14), the couple teased their Peacock series, Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together, and things got personal quickly.

While discussing their relationship, Ashanti dished on Nelly’s anatomy.

“How you think KK got here?” she said with a grin, referring to their 11-month-old son Kareem Kenkaide Haynes. “He’s packing.”

The moment was one of several lighthearted exchanges previewed from the show, which follows the couple’s first year of marriage, their journey into parenthood and the balancing act of fame and family.

In another snippet, Nelly playfully told Ashanti not to slim down too much after giving birth. “Keep some of that thang thangin’,” he said, laughing.

Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together premieres Friday (June 26) on Peacock and spans eight 30-minute episodes.

The series offers a close-up look at the couple’s rekindled romance after nearly a decade apart, including behind-the-scenes moments, red-carpet appearances and family milestones.

The pair, who first got together in 2003, split in 2013. However, they reconnected in 2021 after a viral hug at the Verzuz battle between Fat Joe and Ja Rule. They quietly tied the knot in December 2023 in St. Louis County, Missouri, and welcomed their son in July 2024.

Both artists serve as executive producers on the show, which marks their first foray into reality television. The series aims to give viewers a raw and humorous look at their day-to-day life as a Hip-Hop power couple.

Nelly and Ashanti’s reality show follows the rapper’s new single, “Spin The Block.” Listen to it below.

The couple, who went public with their relationship earlier in June, didn’t just lounge around.

Diggs brought his trainer on the trip and kept up his workouts on the castle lawn and in the gym. Footage shows Cardi cheering him on. The two were also seen leaving a Paris nightclub late Tuesday night.

Cardi B Shares Advice To Heartbroken Fans

Former Rapper Zohran Mamdani Crushes Andrew Cuomo In NYC Mayoral Primary

Zohran Mamdani toppled political heavyweight Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary for New York City mayor Tuesday (June 25), a stunning win for the 33-year-old former rapper turned state assemblymember whose grassroots campaign struck a nerve with working-class voters.

The Queens-based lawmaker celebrated the upset in front of a packed crowd in Astoria, declaring, “My friends, we have done it… I will be your Democratic nominee for mayor of New York City.”

Mamdani, a Democratic Socialist, leaned heavily into a platform focused on affordability and public services, pushing for free childcare, fare-free buses and city-run grocery stores.

“We have won because New Yorkers have stood up for a city they can afford, a city where they can do more than just struggle, one where those who toil in the night can enjoy the fruits of their labor in the day,” he told supporters.

Preliminary results showed Mamdani pulling in roughly 43.5 to 44 percent of first-choice votes, while Cuomo trailed with about 36 percent.

Though no candidate crossed the 50 percent threshold required for an outright win, Cuomo conceded before ranked-choice tabulations were finalized.

Andrew Cuomo Concedes; Admits Zohran Mamdani Ran “Great Campaign”

“Mamdani put together a great campaign, and he touched young people and inspired them and moved them and got them to come out and vote,” Cuomo said. “Tonight is his night. He deserved it. He won.”

Backed by progressive leaders like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Mamdani’s campaign drew energy from local organizers and activists who helped him build momentum across the five boroughs.

He pledged to govern inclusively, saying, “I will be a mayor for every New Yorker, whether you voted for me, for Governor Cuomo, or felt too disillusioned by a long-broken political system to vote at all.”

Before entering politics, Mamdani launched a rap career under the names Young Cardamom and Mr. Cardamom.

His 2016 EP, created with Abdul Bar Hussein, blended six languages and paid homage to his Ugandan roots.

In 2019, he released “Nani,” a cheeky tribute to his grandmother featuring actress Madhur Jaffrey.

His music, often laced with humor and social commentary, tackled issues like racism and colonialism.

Mamdani has credited his time as a rapper with teaching him how to connect with people on the ground—skills that translated into his political rise.

With Democrats dominating the last three mayoral races, Zohran Mamdani is widely expected to win the general election in November.

Trey Songz Threatens Violence In Explosive Face-Off Caught On Video

Trey Songz nearly escalated a tense face-off into a physical altercation Tuesday night (June 24) when a video surfaced showing the R&B singer exchanging heated words with an unidentified man in what appeared to be the tail end of a dispute.

In the short clip, the man turns to walk away and says, “I ain’t gonna shake your hand.”

Songz instantly fires back, “And you ain’t gone do s### either like I told you.”

The man then appears to call Songz “p####,” prompting the singer to step forward and respond, “I’ll beat the s### out of you right now.”

The footage cuts off as a man who appears to be a security guard steps in, leaving the outcome of the confrontation unclear.

The location of the incident has not been confirmed, and no further details have been released.

Trey Songz History Of Run-Ins With The Law

The “Bottoms Up” singer has a long history of legal run-ins and violent incidents.

In December 2016, he was arrested in Detroit after a concert meltdown that ended with felony assault charges for hitting a police officer and a misdemeanor for aggravated assault.

He later pleaded guilty to lesser charges and was sentenced to probation, drug testing and anger management classes.

In 2021, he was accused of assaulting a man in Las Vegas. A default judgment of $11.2 million was initially entered against Songz, but it was tossed in January 2025 after the court determined he wasn’t properly served.

That case is now headed to trial, with a jury date set for March 16, 2026.

In 2023, he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after being accused of punching a woman in the face in a New York bowling alley bathroom.

The singer has also faced multiple sexual assault allegations over the years, including a $20 million rape lawsuit filed in Los Angeles. That case was dismissed in 2022 due to the statute of limitations.

While Songz has managed to avoid criminal convictions in several of these cases, the string of legal troubles has cast a long shadow over his career and public image.

Rapper Who Shot Up Mall, Begs Judge To Smoke Weed On Probation

No Savage asked a Virginia judge to let him use marijuana while on probation after violating the terms of his release following a 2022 mall shooting.

The 23-year-old rapper, whose real name is Noah Settles, appeared in court Friday, June 21, after failing multiple drug and alcohol screenings and skipping court-mandated substance abuse treatment.

During the hearing, his legal team said marijuana is widely accepted in the Hip-Hop community and argued that Settles should not be penalized for using a substance that is legal in many jurisdictions.

His attorney requested an exception to allow him to continue using cannabis while under supervision.

No Savage was sentenced to three years in prison in 2023 after pleading guilty to firing a gun inside Tysons Corner Center Mall in Fairfax County during Father’s Day weekend in 2022.

The shooting erupted after a verbal dispute inside the mall turned physical. Police said Settles, who was signed to 300 Entertainment at the time, pulled out a gun and fired several rounds.

The rapper maintained he acted in self-defense. No one was struck by the gunfire, but three people were injured during the mall’s chaotic evacuation.

He admitted to three counts of maliciously discharging a firearm in an occupied building and one count of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Prosecutors pushed for a 15-year sentence, but the judge handed down the mandatory minimum. No Savage was also banned from the property and placed on 10 years of probation following his release.

Instead of sending him back to prison for the probation violations, the judge allowed No Savage to remain free while his probation officer and attorney work on a revised plan.

The court will revisit the marijuana issue at a later date, and until then, No Savage must comply with all existing probation conditions.

The next court date has not been scheduled yet.

50 Cent’s Diddy Documentary Is AWOL—But Is G-Unit General Being Strategic?

50 Cent fired the first cinematic warning shot in September 2024, when he announced a documentary targeting his longtime nemesis, Diddy. It was a move that instantly raised eyebrows and expectations. It also alerted others that this could be copied. But fast forward to mid-2025 and … nothing. The G-Unit mogul seems to be sitting on the sidelines. But, not so fast.

Why hasn’t 50 dropped his promised exposé on the embattled Bad Boy founder?

Turns out, this may not be a case of hesitation but rather strategy. According to sources not-so-close to the matter, 50 Cent may be playing the long game. Apparently, he let others prematurely burn through the headlines while he waits for the full legal saga to unfold. And if you’ve been paying attention, there’s a lot more unfolding.

READ ALSO: 50 Cent Defends Fat Joe Against Assassination Allegations: “Not Credible”

Since Diddy’s name began surfacing in multiple lawsuits and federal investigations, streaming platforms have rushed to cash in. But many of those early projects were often light on facts and heavy on speculation. Many of them are flimsy in hindsight. A wave of initial allegations dominated the news cycle in 2024, but a lot of it was bogus or didn’t hold up. My source says the real weight and impact of the case against Diddy is on the way. Imagine telling the OJ Simpson story before the verdict.

That may be why 50 Cent is holding tight.

Netflix, for example, has built a reputation for handling real life tragedies with great storytelling and thorough research. Its recent Astroworld documentary on Travis Scott and the 2021 concert disaster was a deep dive. I watched it recently, and it offered emotional depth and legal clarity. There was a clock as people were dying, and it was jarring. If 50 and Netflix get together for this sort of saga, they will kill it.

Still, the game is crowded. Many of these people can circle the block and do more on Diddy. Trust.

READ ALSO: G. Dep Supports Diddy At Court—Urges Other Bad Boy Artists To Step Up

There are still multiple alleged victims, civil suits and more potential criminal charges brewing. 50 Cent could be dropping this bad boy during the most damning stretch of Diddy’s career. Crazy. “There’s a lot more story to tell now than there was six months ago,” somebody said.

The prosecution rested on Tuesday (June 24). Now, speculation swirls like that tornado over the weekend. Will Diddy get time and HOW MUCH? Lawyers nearby estimate five years to a possible 20. WHEW.

One thing for sure, the title “Diddy Do It?” won’t work when it is all said and done.

EXCLUSIVE: R. Kelly Too Dangerous For Bond—But Still Has Shot At New Trial

R. Kelly will stay behind bars after a federal judge ruled he remains a threat to the public and a potential flight risk, even as his legal team pushes for a new trial.

On Tuesday (June 24), U.S. District Judge Martha M. Pacold rejected the 57-year-old singer’s request for bond while his motion for a new trial is still under review.

R. Kelly is currently serving a 20-year sentence for child pornography and enticement convictions in Illinois.

Eighteen of those years run concurrently with a 30-year sentence from a separate racketeering case in New York.

R. Kelly is demanding a new trial, alleging that prosecutors and prison officials stole his legal mail, threatened witnesses, and even plotted to have him killed in prison.

He claims a key witness was bribed to change her testimony and that an Aryan Brotherhood gang member was recruited to carry out an attack but refused.

Kelly’s team also says he was denied urgent medical care, which they argue adds urgency to both the bond request and the demand for a new trial.

In the ruling, Pacold stated that the court had the authority to consider a bond request during post-conviction proceedings but found no legal or factual basis to release him.

“Kelly has not produced any argument or evidence—much less clear and convincing evidence—challenging that finding or indicating that circumstances have changed such that Kelly is no longer a flight risk or a danger to the community,” she wrote in the June 24 order.

R. Kelly’s attorneys argued that federal judges can grant bond in rare post-conviction situations, citing the court’s inherent authority.

But Pacold said even if Kelly met that high standard, he would still be imprisoned due to his New York conviction.

The judge also pointed to prior findings by Judge Harry Leinenweber, who oversaw Kelly’s Illinois trial and determined that his release would pose a danger to the community.

Despite the allegations in his other motions, Kelly did not present any convincing new evidence to counter that assessment. Kelly is serving concurrent sentences in North Carolina, where he remains in custody.

The court has not ruled on the motion for a new trial.

SIGNS: Iran May Strike U.S. In Cyber Warfare—Not Bombs, Experts Say

Iran could unleash a range of cyberattacks against the United States in response to the recent airstrikes on its nuclear facilities, according to national security officials and cybersecurity analysts. These are the folks who caution that any retaliation may be designed to fly just under the radar of a major U.S. military response.

Despite no immediate reports of Iranian cyber offensives as of Monday (June 23), officials remain on alert. The Washington Post reports the Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin warning that “low-level cyberattacks against U.S. networks by pro-Iranian hacktivists are likely.” Also, they say state-sponsored groups could also be preparing more covert intrusions.

Iran’s cyber arsenal has grown exponentially since the 2009 discovery of Stuxnet, a joint U.S.-Israeli operation that damaged Tehran’s uranium enrichment program. In the years since, Iran has moved from novice to heavyweight in cyberwarfare. These attacks crippled tens of thousands of computers in 2012, and the Sands Casino in 2014 after its owner publicly backed Israel.

Experts suggest Iran may once again opt for asymmetric cyber tactics with precision disruption aimed at sowing anxiety and projecting strength. “Cyber is kind of the one thing to conduct operations on the U.S. homeland and potentially not trigger a redline response,” Adam Meyers, senior vice president at cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, said.

Iran-linked digital operatives have already taken credit for hacks targeting Israel amid ongoing regional conflict, including breaches of missile alert systems and document leaks. Over the weekend, pro-Iran groups posted threats to U.S. infrastructure on Telegram and X (formerly Twitter), though none have yet materialized into visible actions.

According to Google’s John Hultquist, much of this is psychological warfare that can influence both global media and its domestic audience.

“If you get the right misleading evidence and get someone moving fast enough, you might get that reported as much more significant than it was,” Hultquist said. “One powerful headline might be enough to take back to their domestic audience.”

Iran has also shown a willingness to play a long game. In 2020, following the U.S. assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, many expected a swift cyber response. Instead, Iran quietly ramped up espionage efforts. Then, the U.S. intelligence uncovered plots against people like National Security Advisor John Bolton.

Officials say the absence of immediate, visible cyberattacks doesn’t mean Iran is inactive. They might just be waiting. The U.S. is bracing for retaliation. And yes, people are stressed.

Man Busted For Trying To Kill OMB Peezy

A man has been arrested in connection with a hail of gunfire outside Raleigh’s StarBar that police say was aimed at OMB Peezy following the rapper’s late-night performance.

Ja’Quan Jahmer Whitehurst faces six felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and four counts of shooting into occupied property after allegedly firing more than 20 rounds in the club’s parking lot around 4 a.m. on April 13.

Authorities believe the bullets were meant for OMB Peezy, who had just wrapped up a set at the venue.

No one was hit, but several rounds struck the rapper’s van, according to Raleigh police.

The shooting triggered a broader investigation into StarBar, and the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division cited the club for serving alcohol after legal hours and flagged a pattern of violent incidents at the location.

As a result, the state’s ABC Commission suspended the club’s liquor license.

Whitehurst is being held on a $1 million bond. He appeared in court for a disposition hearing on June 10. His next court date is scheduled for August 5.

According to WRAL, the investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to piece together what led to the early morning gunfire.

Mahershala Ali Admits He Is Clueless About “Blade” Movie Status

Mahershala Ali expressed his frustration over the stalled Blade reboot and Marvel’s silence during the premiere of Jurassic World: Dominion in New York on Monday.

The Oscar-winning actor told The Hollywood Reporter he’s still in the dark about the long-delayed project, which was first announced nearly six years ago at San Diego Comic-Con.

“I’m just taking it a day at a time. I’m doing the best work I can,” Ali said. “I would love for Blade to happen. We’ll see; I don’t know where Marvel is at right now. I’m just looking for the next great part, I really am.”

Ali, who was tapped to take over the vampire-slaying role made famous by Wesley Snipes, has been attached to the reboot since 2019.

But the film has faced repeated setbacks, including the departure of two directors—Bassam Tariq and Yann Demange—and the loss of key cast members.

In October 2023, Marvel pulled the title from its release calendar altogether.

Despite the uncertainty, Ali hasn’t lost interest. In a separate interview with Variety, he made his position clear: “Call Marvel. I’m ready. Let them know I’m ready.”

The Moonlight and Green Book star revealed that he recently got back into action mode with “some sword work” for his upcoming film Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother, which helped him scratch his “stunts itch.”

The original Blade trilogy, led by Snipes, ran from 1998 to 2004 and helped pave the way for modern superhero films.

Snipes even returned to the character in a cameo for 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine, adding more pressure on Marvel to deliver on its reboot promises.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told attendees at D23 last fall that the company remained “still committed” to the Blade reboot, but no new release date has been announced.

Nick Cannon honored his late son Zen on what would have been his fourth birthday by sharing a heartfelt video from a hospital visit and lighting a candle in his memory.

The Masked Singer host posted the tribute on Instagram, remembering Zen, who passed away in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer at just five months old.

In the video, Cannon is seen quietly reflecting at a hospital and lighting a candle in Zen’s name.

“Today, we celebrate what would have been my son Zen’s fourth birthday. Though he was with us for a brief time, his light continues to inspire others through the work of the Zen’s Light Foundation,” Nick Cannon wrote in the caption.

In 2022, Cannon and Scott launched the Zen’s Light Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting pediatric healthcare and grief support for families.

Its mission is to “foster global excellence in hope, grief care and paediatric healthcare for families and children in need.”

“June 23rd will forever be a day of celebration. A beautiful lighting ceremony to honour the life of an Angel. Zen’s birth has now transformed into Zen’s Light,” Nick Cannon added in his post.

Nick Cannon, who is father to 12 children, has continued to use his platform to raise awareness about pediatric illness and grief care through the foundation’s work.

Zen would have turned four on June 23.

G. Dep Supports Diddy At Court—Urges Other Bad Boy Artists To Step Up

Former Baby Boy rapper G. Dep stood outside a Manhattan courthouse on Monday (June 23) and made it clear he’s sticking by Sean “Diddy” Combs despite the embattled mogul’s serious legal troubles.

“I love him as a brother. I’m just coming to support him,” the former Bad Boy Records rapper told a TMZ reporter outside the building, where Diddy is facing a series of federal investigations tied to sexual assault and trafficking allegations.

Dep didn’t waver when asked about the accusations. “I’m not one to judge,” he said, adding that he “can’t in all good conscience” say that Diddy is guilty of the allegations he’s on trial for.

The Harlem native, who was released from prison in April after serving more than a decade for a 1993 murder he confessed to in 2010, also said he hopes he’s not the only one showing support.

“I would like to see it, but I don’t know,” he said when asked if other former Bad Boy artists might appear in court.

G. Dep Reunited With Diddy Shortly Before Arrest

So far, few artists from the label’s heyday have publicly backed Diddy as he faces a wave of legal fallout. But G. Dep, who made waves in the early 2000s with hits like “Special Delivery” and “Let’s Get It,” previously revealed he and Diddy had been reconnecting musically before the legal chaos began.

“I was playing music for him. He wanted to hear what I’ve got. We were talking about putting some stuff together. That’s what we do—make music,” he told AllHipHop shortly after Diddy’s arrest. “He was saying, ‘Yeah, I’ll probably put out more music.’ So we’ll see.”

In another interview, Dep also stated that he had never witnessed any of the behavior described in the lawsuits.

“I’m like, when? When did that happen?” he said. “We were in the studio for months on end. I don’t know where this is coming from.”

He added that Diddy deserves the “benefit of the doubt” until the courts decide otherwise.

Jim Jones Allegedly Pressed Funk Flex At Summer Jam While Reigniting NYC Rap Debates

Jim Jones and controversy go hand in hand like Cam’ron and pink furs. The NYC native has been dominating conversations this past week after ruffling feathers about his standing in Hip-Hop. You know about the Nas stuff, but let us recap.

First, Jones took aim at Nas, or at least that’s how the internet took it, when he suggested he’s one of the top talents to ever emerge from New York City. Critics quickly called foul, questioning his catalog, lyrical weight and overall contributions. But Jones isn’t apologizing. In fact, he’s doubling down.

“I’m just saying what I feel,” he explained in a recent conversation. “I always felt like I was one of the flyest and nicest in the game. If I don’t say it, who will?”

At the same time, the internet…

The comments set social media ablaze and Jones admitted to doing what he wants: going viral. Whether it’s strategic trolling or genuine self-belief, the result is the same: people are talking. International tensions are rising and global headlines speak of possible war, but Jones is waging a battle of his own. He’s winning that fight, like it or not.

But the tension didn’t stop online. During his scheduled performance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2025, things went left when his microphone was abruptly cut mid-set. Jones reportedly blamed Funkmaster Flex for the snub. Video footage surfaced showing Jones confronting the DJ. “It looked like he was pressing Flex,” one witness described. And the crew was right there too, I heard.

Insiders say the backstage scene was tense but didn’t escalate to violence. Still, the image of Jones stepping to Flex has added another viral layer to the week’s drama.

Love him or leave him, Jim Jones is playing the modern media game well. From podcast soundbites to Summer Jam showdowns, I am cracking up. As for what’s next? Keep this masterclass on how to keep the algorithm going going.

Prosecution Rests After Diddy Nipple Play, Freak-Off Videos As Defense Moves For Acquittal

Diddy closed out day 29 of his federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial in New York with prosecutors resting their case.

But not before a Homeland Security agent testified about graphic text messages from a woman known as “Jane,” including one where she said she couldn’t wait to lick his nipples.

Special Agent Joseph Cerciello returned to the witness stand Tuesday (June 24) and was cross-examined by defense attorney Teny Geragos, who presented a series of sexually explicit messages exchanged between Jane and Diddy.

The texts, according to Geragos, showed Jane actively initiating sexual encounters and organizing what she called “freak-offs” with sex workers.

In one message, Jane allegedly wrote, “Daddy wanna see Mommy be bad tonight–right?” followed by a string of emojis and a sexually explicit invitation to have sex in a restaurant.

Another read, “I’m going to blow your mind tonight, can’t wait to lick your nipples.” Cerciello confirmed the authenticity of the messages under oath.

Jurors also viewed about six minutes of video footage showing Jane and a male sex worker named Paul during one of the alleged “freak-offs.”

The clips were part of a broader set of evidence that included hotel receipts, travel records and financial transactions prosecutors say support their claim that Diddy orchestrated a sex trafficking operation under the guise of lavish parties.

Diddy’s lawyers claim the messages from Jane prove that she was willing to participate and that all activities between the two were consensual.

Following the government’s final witness, defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro moved for an acquittal on all five charges, arguing that prosecutors failed to meet the legal threshold for racketeering conspiracy under the RICO Act.

She stated that the government did not prove that Diddy agreed to participate in a criminal enterprise or that such an enterprise even existed.

Shapiro addressed the $100,000 payment made to hotel staff at the InterContinental in Los Angeles for a surveillance video showing Diddy assaulting Cassie Ventura in 2016.

She argued the payment was made to prevent public embarrassment, not to obstruct justice and that Ventura herself didn’t want the incident reported to the police.

On the charge of obstruction, Shapiro stated that the government failed to demonstrate that Diddy used threats or intimidation to delay or prevent a federal investigation.

She emphasized that no evidence showed Diddy knew of any federal probe at the time of the alleged incidents involving Jane and another woman Mia.

Shapiro also pushed back on the claim that Diddy’s financial support of Jane, including paying her rent, amounted to coercion or corrupt persuasion.

The defense team told the court it expects to wrap up its case by Wednesday (June 25) and doesn’t plan to call any witnesses.

Diddy, 55, will not testify. He’s pleaded not guilty to all charges, which include one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution.

If convicted, he faces anywhere between 10 years to life in prison. Closing arguments are expected to begin on Thursday (June 26).

Roc Nation Fights To Exit “Nonsensical” Fat Joe Lawsuit Over Alarming Claims

Fat Joe is at the center of a legal storm involving disturbing accusations and a wage dispute, but Roc Nation says it has no business being dragged into the mess.

The entertainment company filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought by Terrance Dixon, who accused the rapper of a range of serious misconduct, including wage theft and more severe claims like “coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation and psychological coercion.” Dixon also alleged that Fat Joe engaged in sexual acts with minors.

Roc Nation’s attorney, Alex Spiro, pushed back hard, calling the claims against the company baseless. “Roc Nation has nothing to do with any of this. Nothing. And we expect this case to be dismissed,” Spiro said in a statement to Billboard.

In the legal filing, Spiro emphasized Roc Nation’s limited role in the matter.

“Roc Nation’s alleged role in this case—according to plaintiff himself—is that it became [Fat Joe’s] artist management company in 2017, and in that capacity, earned a commission on revenue [Fat Joe] generated,” Spiro wrote. “Yet, according to plaintiff, the fact that Roc Nation had a business relationship with [Fat Joe] somehow makes Roc Nation part of a RICO enterprise, a participant in sex trafficking, and an aider-and-abettor of [Fat Joe’s] alleged conduct. That is nonsensical.”

Spiro also questioned the logic behind the accusations. “How Roc Nation supposedly knew of this deplorable alleged conduct is a mystery,” he added. “He does not assert how Roc Nation’s management of [Fat Joe’s] music business gave it insight into how much plaintiff should have been paid, what he was paid, or any venture to deprive him of adequate compensation.”

Dixon’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, responded with a statement of his own, confirming he will fight the motion.

“I am happy to see that Roc Nation was smart enough to distance itself from Fat Joe and his RICO enterprise,” Blackburn said. “The plaintiff has no personal animosity towards Roc Nation or its leadership.”

Meanwhile, Tacopina has already denied all allegations and suggested there’s more going on behind the scenes, saying, “Law enforcement is aware of the extortionate demand at the heart of this scheme,” Tacopina said.

The lawsuit, which includes claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, remains active as of Tuesday (June 24).
