Man Down: Meek Mill Posts About Being On Nicki’s Tour

Earlier today (Aug. 20), Meek Mill, took to his Instagram account and posted performance footage from his recent appearance in Edmonton, Candada. In conjunction with The Pinkprint Tour, the Philly rapper is currently on the road with  his girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, the tour’s headliner.

In recent weeks, a dismal disagreement arose between Meek Mill and Drake. This prompted Drizzy to release the scathing “Back to Back” freestyle where his brazen bars challenged: “Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour / I know you gotta be a thug for her / This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more…”

As the social media skirmish between the two artists have fizzled out, Meek used an interesting caption for his IG post writing, “Last night on the #pinkprinttour #aka #mygirltour,” the “I’m A Boss,” rapper then added, “Edmonton Canada! Glad 2 b apart of it!”

In his war of waxed words, is this an instance of Meek Mill subliminally accepting defeat; or, is he continuing to show love to his boo, Nicki Minaj?

“For the NBA LIVE Pro-Am mode, we’ve added seven real-world basketball courts, each of which are iconic to the sport and city they’re located. The new venues add a whole new dimension to the game, because they’re so unique,” Ryan Santos, EA Sports’ Senior Game Developer/Producer, tells AllHipHop.com. “We’ve got indoor and outdoor venues – from Venice Beach to Jordan Brand’s exclusive Terminal 23 – and each bring their own experience and vibe. We even have an all new audio design including dynamic music.”

LIVE Pro Am users can play across LIVE Run, Summer Circuit and the Rising Star career modes. Playing games in any of these modes will earn the player “Skill Points” using NBA Live 16‘s new progression system and “Reward Points” to purchase authentic gear in the LIVE Spot store.

“The Summer Circuit is all about teamwork. Each new spot features teams of legendary NBA players who’ve had historic performances there, and they won’t hold back once the pick-up game starts,” says Santos. “LIVE players have to play to their strengths and use team strategy, or there’s no stopping the superstars.”

Gamers can customize their player with the latest sneakers and clothes from leading apparel brands. NBA LIVE 16 also features a new companion mobile app with GameFaceHD. The exclusive mobile technology allows users to scan their face and upload it into the game.

“We’re really excited about GameFaceHD too. Person Behind Official Presidential Candidate “Deez Nuts” Revealed

(AllHipHop News) The Internet went crazy yesterday when Public Policy Polling released a new poll that showed 9% of North Carolina voters were supporting an independent presidential candidate named “Deez Nuts.” The results became a trending topic on Twitter, and local news stations were forced to report about Deez Nuts live on the air.

PPP Deez Nuts

Deez Nuts filed an official statement of candidacy with the FEC on July 26. The Daily Beast attempted to find out who was this unknown person pulling in nearly a tenth of the electorate in the Tar Heel state. Apparently, Deez Nuts is 15-year-old Brady Olson from Wallingford, Iowa.

“When I heard about the Limberbutt McCubbins story, I realized I could,” said Olson. McCubbins is a Kentucky cat running as a Democrat.

Obviously, Olson can not be President of the United States, because citizens have to be at least 35 to seek the office. That fact is not stopping the high school sophomore from playing along with the candidacy of Mr. Nuts.

“The next step is to get some party nominations, like the Minnesota Independence Party or the Modern Whig Party,” Olson says. “It would also be great to find a VP, preferably McCubbins, because the Nuts/McCubbins ticket sounds amazing.”

The phrase “deez nuts” was popularized by the Dr. Dre song “Deeez Nuuuts” from the producer’s 1992 album The Chronic. “Deez Nuts” re-entered the pop culture zeitgeist with the success of a viral video by Welven Da Great.

(AllHipHop News) Former Los Angeles Police Department detective Russell Poole died suddenly on Wednesday of a possible heart attack. Poole once led the investigation into the murder of The Notorious B.I.G., and he was very vocal about the Biggie case even after he resigned from the LAPD in 1999.

Poole also attempted to connect Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight to the death of Biggie as retaliation for the killing of rival 2Pac. Knight’s former longtime friend Reggie Wright was also implemented by Poole in Pac’s death. Wright, who once served as the head of security for Death Row, addressed Poole’s death with Bomb1st.

“It’s a good day for me, because I believe in karma,” said Wright. “First Michael Moore then Frank Alexander and now Russell Poole, all these people are dropping dead. I keep telling people God don’t like ugly. I hope people learn a lesson from this.”

Wright pointed out several of the people that have tried to tie him to the murder of Tupac Shakur have died over the last 10 years. Pac’s ex-bodyguards Michael Moore and Frank Alexander have both passed away. Wright also mentioned filmmaker Richard J. Bond, suggesting the director of the documentary Tupac Assassination: Conspiracy or Revenge may suffer the same fate as Poole, Moore, and Alexander.

“The next person is probably going to be R.J. Bond. I ain’t predicting no death on anybody, but they better get their selves right,” warned Wright. “They better stop with all this bullcrap they’ve been promoting, because they’re all dying like flies around here.”

Another former Pac bodyguard, Kevin Hackie, also once accused Wright of conspiring to kill the Hip Hop icon. In an exclusive 2014 interview, Wright told AllHipHop.com Hackie walked back those allegations.

“[Hackie] called me and apologized to me for making those accusations. He said he was duped into it by Frank Alexander and [Richard Bond],” Wright stated. “I could call him right now on the phone, and he’ll tell you all that information and pretty much that he was working for the government. I think he said he was an undercover agent, but a federal informant is what he was. He pretty much admits it and apologizes for making those false accusations.”

Roc-A-Fella Rapper Neef Buck Compares “Meek Mill Vs Drake” To “Jay Z Vs Nas” (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Philadelphia’s Neef Buck can offer an interesting perspective to the much talked about Meek Mill versus Drake battle. The former Roc-A-Fella Records emcee is from Meek’s hometown, and he witnessed the epic Jay Z versus Nas conflict firsthand.

[ALSO READ: Members Of The Battle Rap Community Share Their Thoughts On “Meek Mill Vs Drake”]

Mikey T The Movie Star caught up with Neef to get his thoughts on Meek/Drake. The Young Gunz member compared Meek’s social media rant that started this summer’s hottest rivalry to Hov’s feud with Esco.

“I watched the best to ever do it. I watched Jay. I watched Irv Gotti damn near engineer ‘Super Ugly’ that was about Nas. [He] picked the beats out, hyping Jay to do whatever he was doing,” said Neef. “A couple of weeks later [Gotti] tried to sign Nas. But Jay ain’t gonna tweet it out or put it out publicly ‘I don’t mess with Irv Gotti.'”

Neef mentioned the classic early 2000’s beef as an example of how individuals in Hip Hop are not always the most loyal to their collaborators. In Neef’s opinion, modern rap artists tend to confuse industry associates with true friends.

“That’s where I think these new rappers go wrong at. Just holding motherf*ckers up to higher standards than they really are,” Neef added. “At the end of the day, just because you’re a good rapper or make good music and you’re popping right now doesn’t mean you’re a solid n####.”
