The world’s most elite break dancers will be taking their talents to Orlando, FL for the Red Bull BC One North America Final. The one-on-one b-boy competition, which will be hosted by Sway Calloway, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 22nd at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
Sixteen contestants will be competing for a slot in the World Final in Rome on Nov. 14th, where they will represent North America.
Besides the competition in Orlando, other break dancers will go head-to-head in Georgia (Eastern Europe), Egypt, Madrid, Seoul, and Peru.
A livestream of the event from Orlando will start at 8:30 p.m. ET on www.redbullbcone.com in both English and Spanish.

Chance the Rapper has been very vocal about his admiration of fellow Chicagoan Kanye West. His dream of collaborating with Yeezus has come true and they are working on an anticipated upcoming project, but fans were supposed to hear them go bar for bar sooner than later. In an interview with The Guardian, Chance revealed that Ye’ was supposed to appear on The Social Experiment’s latest project, Surf.
“He was going to narrate it at one point,” the “Smoke Again” rapper said. “In the final weeks of getting ready to put it out we had vocal chops that we were using from ’Ye talking about some of the themes of the project. Through just thinking about it, it didn’t end up happening that way. Not to say it wouldn’t have been dope as s–t!
Chance gushed further about his admiration of West, saying he wished he was his father at one point.
“The kid in me wanted a certain type of approval [from Kanye],” he said.

It seems like Young Buck is in trouble with the law again. The G Unit rapper, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, is in trouble after he failed four drug tests while on probation. Last year Young Buck missed two drug tests and barely escaped more jail time for violating his probation. He violated his probation earlier this year when he attempted to fake a urine test and admitted to smoking marijuana with Snoop Dogg. It looks like Buck could be headed back to prison as the U.S. Attorney doesn’t believe he is taking his probation serious since he continues to use drugs. Young Buck better reconsider his love for weed right now.

Lil’ Wayne has been badmouthing Cash Money for months and through it all Birdman has remained silent. The no. 1 stunna is finally breaking his silence for a sit down with Power 105’s Angie Martinez.
In the preview, Birdman revealed that while the man he considers his son was throwing dirt on his name, behind the scenes he was heartbroken and shocked.
“I never thought could ever happen — for that man to open his mouth and say something negative about me,” he told Martinez. “I love my son…He mean the world to me.”
