Hip-Hop Rumors: Beyonce’s Brother Going To A Homeless Shelter?

mathew-nixon knowles-alexsandra wright
See how they try to play Beyonce? “Beyonce’s Brother.” Well, that is how they are playing it in the tabloids. If you didn’t know, B’s daddy Matthew fathered a child out of his marriage. And that child may be lightweight cursed, unfortunately. It seems that Mr. Knowles has fallen on hard times in the last few years. Anyway, the point is – Mr. Knowles child is allegedly headed to a homeless shelter in LA with his mother Alexsandra Wright. Poor Nixon Knowles! The kid is only four and going through this.

In Touch Mag reports the following:

Alexsandra exclusively tells In Touch that she and their 4-year-old son, Nixon, are financially struggling — and no one in the Knowles family has offered to help find them a home. “Nixon deserves to know his family, and I hope one day he will meet his sister Beyoncé,” Alexsandra tells the mag.

On March 3, a judge ruled that because Mathew, 63, lost his gig as his superstar daughter’s manager in 2011, his child support payments should be retroactively reduced, from $12,000 to $2,400 per month.

The ruling means he won’t have to make another payment for almost two years. “I can’t imagine how Beyoncé feels knowing she has a homeless brother,” Alexsandra says. “I know if I were in the same position, I would reach out. Maybe she is too busy.”

I feel sorry for Mr. Knowles in many ways. He made the biggest star and this is what’s happening? Wow.

Deion Sanders: People Don’t Like Johnny Manziel Because He Has “Ghetto Tendencies” (W/ AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) Deion Sanders is one of the greatest cornerbacks of all time, but this past Wednesday he was giving out hood passes. During his interview on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Neon Deion explained how Manziel’s “ghetto tendencies” are the root of the negative criticism the young quarterback has received.

The criticism about Johnny Manziel’s inadequacies to be an NFL QB have ranged from lack of pocket discipline to his God given height (5′ 11). However, for the trash talking legend himself, Sanders says the real criticism centers on one of Manziel’s traits:

Oh, please. I love Johnny Football. See, the reason people won’t accept Johnny Football is because Johnny Football has ghetto tendencies. I love Johnny Football.

Manziel has been criticized heavily in the past for his flashy ways. Most notably, during a game against Rice University back in September 2013 where he was benched taunting. Deion claims that is all apart of what makes up “ghetto tendencies”:

Because he was successful, he made it, and he let you all know he made it, and he was cocky, he was flamboyant, and he let you know.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Has Trina Gone Lesbian?

I generally don’t post from MediaTakeOut, because I just don’t. No beef, because they do their thing and most of you secretly go there. But there’s this current rumor that Trina has gone and switched to the other team. That’s what the word is. Now, I have secretly stalked Trina for years, but more recently she has gotten more and more distant from the male species. She does a lot of quotes and whatever on Instagram. Some of these quote (as I recall) often talk about her disenchantment with men. I wonder if this has anything to do with French Montana? Anyway….she ain’t worried ’bout nothing. Trina was reportedly seen making out heavily with with some chicks at a club. The pics weren’t all that though so there’s no need to even post them. But, I’ve also been told that Trina been freaky with the ladies for the longest. So, maybe this is what she’s always been about.

“I was curious about this field of Hip Hop studies,” said Price. “I wasn’t aware of the depth that was happening at these Ivy League schools, and was kind of amazed that no one had made a film of it yet.”

The 78-minute movie follows 9th as he instructs his “Standards of Hip-Hop” course, conducts research for his thesis, and examines Hip Hop history.

The film also features interviews with Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Kendrick Lamar, Young Guru, Dr. Mark Anthony Neal, Phonte, Dr. Marcyliena Morgan, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Ab-Soul, Rapper Big Pooh and DJ Premier.

Jennifer Lopez’s NuvoTV Outbids Diddy’s Revolt To Purchase Fuse

(AllHipHop News) Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attempt to expand his media empire has been swatted by another company that is partially owned by his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.

According to The New York Post, J. Lo’s NuvoTV has outbid Diddy’s Revolt to purchase the Fuse network from MSG.

[ALSO READ: Diddy Reportedly Bid $200 Million To Purchase Fuse TV Channel]

Diddy, backed by billionaire businessman Ron Burkle, had reportedly offered $200 million for Fuse. Apparently, NuvoTV’s offering price was slightly higher. The final selling price is still unknown at the moment.

“This is a real blow to Diddy and Revolt,” said Eric Sherman former Fuse president. “Fuse was such a perfect fit for them. But having worked with Jennifer on [American Idol] I’m not surprised she and her team prevailed.”

Lopez’s manager Benny Medina was asked if he thought the former couple competing for the same network was just a coincidence. While he stated that he did not believe their past history together played a part, he is not surprised Diddy and J. Lo went after the same prize.

“I don’t think it’s a coincidence,” said Medina. “In many ways, Jennifer and Sean are cut from the same cloth.”

NuvoTV is an English-language cable channel marketed toward American Latinos. Lopez became a minority owner in 2012. The network reaches 34 million households.

“I make music from the heart,” added Wale. “My emotions are the accents to the picture that I’m painting. Without those, you got a bland-ass picture. Everybody can’t be the dope boy, extra cocky, swag. Nah, I’m natural. I feel like the dichotomy of a human being should show in your music.”

Facing 3 Years: 2 Chainz Charged With Felony Drug Possession

(AllHipHop News) 2 Chainz has been charged with felony drug possession after he was arrested last year with marijuana and promethazine at LAX.

The drugs were allegedly found in his luggage as he attempted to board a plane last June.

The rapper faces up to three years in prison, according to TMZ.

The Atlanta rapper is scheduled to be arraigned next week.

Chris Brown Moved To Federal Custody

(AllHipHop News) A rep for the U.S. Marshal has confirmed that Chris Brown has been transferred into federal custody to address his legal issues in Washington D.C.

The singer was in a Los Angeles jail for violating the rules in a Malibu rehab center.

The 24 year old is moving to answer to assault charges in the nation’s capital.

Chris’ lawyer Mark Geragos tried and failed to block the transfer on Tuesday. Last October, the embattled singer was arrested on a felony assault charge.

He’s presently serving a five year probationary period for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Drake And Rihanna…The Subliminal Diss?

Is it me or does NOBODY care about Drake and Rihanna? Maybe its because they are so covert with it. Or could it be that people still think that Rihanna likes that dude named Chris Brown? I don’t know, but this is not captivating people. Anyway, it seems to be so off and on that maybe its that people are unable to believe like with some of the older couples. Jay and B run this.

Nevertheless, Rihanna supposedly jetted to Los Angeles minus Drake and this fueled chatter than they broke up again.

Apparently, she said this:

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cKvNCQ45_HY/Uzw8KsQ0gyI/AAAAAAABk9w/1UJgM5z2weM/s1600/photo+5.png

This could have been a response to the assertion that Drake’s team didn’t like her at all. I like the way she addressed the rumor.

Kevin Gates Talks SXSW,  ‘Family’ Fan Base & Haters

Kevin Gates is one of the hardest working men in the game.  Gates has dropped ten mixtapes over his relatively short career, and his buzz still continues to climb. By Any Means, his highly-anticipated follow up to Stranger than Fiction, has garnered an overwhelmingly positive response. Coming in at number three on the Itunes rap release charts, Gates combination of volatile emotion and lyrical content sets the stage for a movie only he could produce.

The Atlantic Records signed artist discussed his experience at SXSW, how he responds to critics & his ‘family’ fan base.

I just noticed how much my following has grown at SXSW. And I’m not trying to stroke my own ego…but when I was there, I’d been going years prior to this time, and you know people would know the music, people were familiar with who I was as an artist… but this time it was like I was SXSW. They recited the lyrics verbatim, so I was blown away –just to see people from all over the country, all different walks of life, all different nationalities and everything- and you’re a fan of me? I don’t really  feel like there is anything that great about me, cuz I know me, I wake up with me every day…I’m boring to me, but ya’ll love me? I was blown away completely.

Gates consistently describes how he is ‘not being afraid to be himself’. With this, each song on his sixteen-track project has taken on a personality of its own, allowing his music to embody feelings that most rappers shy away from:

I vent- you get the anger, you get the depression, you get the ‘I’m in love’- you get the vulnerability, you get all of that you know,  when you listen to Kevin Gates… I wasn’t afraid to be myself.

On his supporters –  Kevin holds a dislike for calling them ‘fans’ and instead, opts to describe them as his extended family. He accepts both the criticism and praise, viewing their feedback as an opportunity for him to create better content:

I don’t like to call them fans, I like to call them extended family. Cuz I may go on twitter and say ‘what ya’ll think about this’ and I get their feedback and I get their input. And I don’t look at it as ‘Man they hatin’ on you’ or they being judgmental… no, that’s constructive criticism, I don’t want you to tell me what I’m doing good, tell me what I’m doing wrong. Now you know if you just a hater then we gonna step on you but other than that, we gonna keep it moving.
