The latest BS is rolling out..or should I say the state of Hip-Hop continues to slide. Why? Ohhh…I dunno. Saigon is the latest rapper to jump way into the messy mess. He’s going to be featured on Iyanla Vanzant’s “Fix My Life” show. Apparently his baby mom issues are so deep that he’s taken to having the Oprah disciple clean things up for him. He made the revelation on Twitter. Sai has admitted to having anger issues and wants to fix them. What makes a good rapper? Anger!!!!!
Anyway, I guess we’ll see how this rolls out.

Justin Bieber isn’t really even known for his music any more. This kid gets in more trouble than DMX…well maybe not. But, the latest is that he got slapped up by Blake Griffin….
WHAT?
Peep what is being reported.
Justin Bieber can’t seem to avoid bad publicity. A new rumour about him getting ‘smacked’ by NBA player Blake Griffin (who plays for LA Clippers) began circulating online on Monday. Latest report claims that the rumours are false but a recent tweet by LA Laker’s Chris Kaman proves otherwise.
According to Gossip Cop several popular sports blogs, on Monday, reported that Griffin “smacked the sh*t” out of Bieber after the singer refused to put on a shirt inside a West Hollywood Starbucks outlet.
The Starbucks barista is quoted as saying (via Empire Sports):
“He came in with no shirt on and his pants hanging down and underwear showing and tried to order a caramel apple machiatto.”, said Joey Goldsmith, the Starbucks barista, “I just told him he would have to put a shirt on if he wanted to order.”
Bieber reportedly started using cuss words at the barista and threatened to have his bodyguard, “kick his ass”.
Griffin who was sitting at a table nearby, decided to intervene and settle things down but Bieber’s aggressive behaviour resulted in him getting smacked and knocked down to the floor by Griffin.
“I saw Justin stumble out of the door looking like he was crying,” added the barista.
Gossip Cop subsequently reported (after checking with a source close to Bieber) that the story is false. As per the ‘source’, the rumour is “made up”, as Justin has “not returned to Los Angeles for weeks”.
But the following tweet by LA Laker’s player Chris Kaman, which surfaced recently, points towards the report being true after all, at least to an extent.

(AllHipHop News) The bridge and outro of Frank Ocean’s song “Rich Kids” from his debut album channel ORANGE may have landed the young singer into some copyright trouble. Ocean is being accused by TufAmerica of illegally sampling Mary J Blige’s 1992 hit “Real Love” for his song “Rich Kids”.
TufAmerica is suing Ocean’s record label, Def Jam’s parent lable, Universal Music Group and Vivendi over the alleged copyright infringement, however claim to own less than 4% of the copyright on Blige’s “Real Love”.
This is not the first time in the last 3 months that TufAmerica has targeted a Hip Hop artist with copyright infringement claims. Back in November of last year, the lawsuit-happy record label sued Jay Z, Roc-A-Fella Records and Atlantic Records over Jay Z’s “Run This Town” song allegedly sampling Eddie Bo’s 1969 song “Hook & Sling” illegally.
Frank Ocean is set to perform at this year’s Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, Washington with Outkast, Kid Cudi, Chance the Rapper and more.
(AllHipHop News) Last year no African American artist had a number one single on Billboard Top 100 all year and the most successful rapper last year was white. The times are changing for the racial makeup of predominantly Black arts and long time R&B legend Tank spoke on how Black artists need to do better.
In a February 7th interview with Black Hollywood Live Network, Tank not only touched on Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke’s R&B commercial dominance but the incorrect categorization of certain artists. Tank points to Rihanna’s America Music Awards’ win in 2013 for Best Female Soul/R&B performance as an example of erroneous categorization:
We can’t hate on what it is.. we’re where we are… and Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake are doing R&B music better than us… we need to catch up. What am I gonna do about the fact that the AMA’s in the R&B soul category nominated Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna?.. What am I gonna do about that? It’s not her fault that she’s in the R&B soul category
Tank, who has not had a gold-certified album since 2001’s One Man says that the music industry has changed and the response to his upcoming single “You’re My Star” will be indicative of that change:
The music universe has finally made its way back around to my strength.. and I think that’s what’s going to be different about the response to the record.
