Ruthless Records rapper Kokane tells HipHopDX the N.W.A. biopic being produced by Cube’s CubeVision may not be painting an accurate account of founding member Eazy-E.
“We put a proposal together called ‘Protecting the Ruthless Legacy’ that we want to get on The Arsenio Hall Show,” said Kokane. “Ice Cube, I don’t fault you for doing this movie. You’re a genius, and you show that stereotypes can be lifted off of us, but at the same time you are doing something that’s wrong and foul. You’re purposely leaving out certain information that is vital to the story.”
Kokane claims that no one involved in the production contacted him, Above The Law, nor any of Eazy-E’s children about providing information for the movie. He adds that he is working with Eazy’s kids, fellow N.W.A. members MC Ren and DJ Yella along with Big Hutch and J.J. Fad to tell the “real story” of the Compton crew’s history.

(AllHipHop News) The discussion about Macklemore’s controversial Grammy win for Best Rap Album continues. The latest artist to provide his opinion on the matter is battle rapper Daylyt. According to the Watts, California native Macklemore’s success is mostly the result of appealing to the gay community.

“Gay st is taking over the world, and all [Macklemore] rap about is gay st,” Daylyt tells Vlad TV. “He’s with the gays, and we know this.”
Day goes on to talk about how he felt Young Money’s Lil Wayne attempted to “sneak into the gay world” while still trying to “stay hood.” But it’s Macklemore who benefited the most from a gay fan base in his view.
“Macklemore does stuff for gay people, and when they put them votes in, a billion of them rainbow motherf**kers was tallying up,” he adds. “A n***a rapping about it’s okay to be gay won the best Hip Hop album. It’s ugly.”
While Daylyt has issues with Macklemore winning the Best Rap Album trophy on Grammy night over Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city, he also calls the Seattle rapper “dope.”
Macklemore has gotten praise from other rappers recently as well. Former tourmate Talib Kweli recently acknowledged the track “White Privilege” as one of his favorites from Macklemore, and Pusha T has said he respects Mack’s grind even though he believed Kendrick Lamar had the best album in the category.

Nicki Minaj has done so much in such a short time. But, now she is helping chicks get deal based on using their beat.
P.T.A.F. (Kandii, K Duceyyy and Alizé) posted a song on SoundCloud a long time ago- over a year! And, Nicki remixed it a few weeks ago and guess what? They got a deal with Capital Records.
Anyway, that’s the power of Nicki.
Here are the lucky ladies.
Well, if you listen, Nicki basically took it and the producer remixed the song and enhanced it. What happens next is not clear. First of all, this is a mix tape joint with Nicki. Secondly, the girls P.T.A.F. (Pretty and Taking All Fades) registered their song with BMI so they are official. That means that, Nicki has to ante up if HER song catches on. It basically already has caught on, but are the girls now saying that Nicki bit their swag? Nicki thanked them on Instagram so its unclear why there could be beef…
Yeah, maybe Nicki swiped the song, but the girls basically won. I guess time will tell. I have a hard time believing these high school chicks would test Nick. Check out the comparison below.
